  1. Worry the bottle, Mama It's grapefruit wine Kick off your high-heeled sneakers It's party time The girls don't seem to care what's on As long as they play 'til dawn Nothin' but blues and Elvis And somebody else's favorite song Give her some funked-up Muzak She treats you nice Feed her some hungry reggae She'll love you twice The girls don't seem to care tonight As long as the mood is right No static at all (No static, no static at all) FM (No static at all)
  2. Excuse me but Fields was never better than Hurts or Tua at any level, nor was he even almost as good as Mac Jones who destroyed Fields and his team in the title game. In fact, Mac played the second half without Davonta Smith and Jalen Waddle, two superstars. Really, I'm sorry but Fields did not and does not compare to any of the above mentioned 3 QBs. He could run better than Mac or Tua. That's about it. They were superior to him in every other category, and of course still are.
  3. You're sweet, as a honey bee But like a honey bee stings You've gone and left my heart in pain All you left, is our favorite song The one we danced to all night long It used to bring sweet memories Of a tender love that used to be Now it's the same old song But with a different meaning since you been gone Now it's the same old song But with a different meaning since you been gone And it breaks me up to hear it I, oh I
  4. Same old, rat in a drain ditch, caught on a limb You know better but I know him Like I told you, what I said Steal your face right off your head He's gone, now he's gone, Lord he's gone. He's gone Like a steam locomotive, rollin' down the track He's gone, he's gone and nothin's gonna bring him back. He's gone RIP Robert Hunter
  5. The man was virtually impossible to bunt on. He was simply tremendous. RIP.
  6. On the hill the stuff was laced with kerosene But yours was kitchen-clean Everyone stopped to stare at your technicolor motor home Every A-Frame had your number on the wall You must have had it all You'd go to L.A. on a dare and you'd go it alone Could you see the day? Could you feel your whole world fall apart and fade away? Get along, get along, Kid Charlemagne Get along, Kid Charlemagne
  7. Seems I've got to have a change of scene Every night I have the strangest dreams Imprisoned by the way it could have been Left here on my own or so it seems I've got to leave before I start to scream For someone's locked the door and took the key Feeling alright I'm not feeling too good myself Feeling alright I'm not feeling that good myself
  8. My friends tell me, that I've been such a fool. But I had to stand by and take it baby, all for lovin' you. Drown myself in sorrow as I look at what you've done. But nothing seemed to change, the bad times stayed the same, And I can't run. Sometimes I feel, sometimes I feel, Like I've been tied to the whippin' post. Tied to the whippin' post, tied to the whippin' post. Good Lord, I feel like I'm dyin'.
  9. They still need work but the biggest improvement was on both lines. Milroe got sacked a few times and it seemed to me that he was holding the ball too long. He need to improve quite a bit imo, if possible. The OL was opening up holes for their rbs and protection was better. OLB Dallas Turner sort of took over the game towards the end with sacks and pressures. The DL was finally pushing the pocket. Their safeties (Downs and Moore) are probably the best tandem in college. The secondary is fine. Their RB room is talented and deep, and the wr room is improving. The problem they have is at QB. If Milroe shows major improvement they will give anybody trouble but again, I don't know how likely this is. Your point about the "Clemson model" was well taken.
  10. Let us all know when you are ready to retract the above premature post, and or change your opinion. ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. This is one of the few times in a decade or so when it appears to me that Alabama is ready to be upset. I mean, it looks bad for them against the Rebels. Therefore, it is time to slam Alabama and give the 7. Alabama 34 - Ole Miss 14
  12. Times are hard You're afraid to pay the fee So you find yourself somebody Who can do the job for free When you need a bit of lovin' 'Cause your man is out of town That's the time you get me runnin' And you know I'll be around I'm a fool to do your dirty work Oh yeah I don't wanna do your dirty work No more I'm a fool to do your dirty work Oh yeah
  13. But don't let my glad expression Give you the wrong impression Really, I'm sad Oh, I'm sadder than sad You're gone and I'm hurtin' so bad Like a clown I pretend to be glad
  14. Oh, this heart of mine carries a heavy load When I think about how I've hurt you so After you been, been so good to me I've been unfaithful, darling I've caused you misery A feeling of guilt, oh it tortures me And only you my darling, oh can set me free And darling all, all I need is just to hear you say you forgive me Forgive me baby All, all I need is to have you touch my hand Say you understand, baby
  15. Wait, hold on a sec.....Do all of the above posts indicate that despite the heat he took, @BADOLBILZ was actually "right" about Edmunds for the last few years? Never mind, that's impossible, right? Carry on.
  16. I like your pin shot I keep it with your letter Done up in blueprint blue It sure looks good on you And when you smile for the camera I know I'll love you better, Peg
  17. I have a friend I've never seen He hides his head inside a dream Someone should call him and see If he can come out Try to lose the down that he's found But only love can break your heart Try to be sure right from the start Yes, only love can break your heart What if your world should fall apart?
  18. If lovin' you is wrong, I don't wanna be right If being right means being without you I'd rather live a wrong doing life Your mama and dad said "It's a shame, it's a downright disgrace" But long as I got you by my side I don't care what your people say
  19. Holding back the years Thinking of the fear I've had so long When somebody hears Listen to the fear that's gone Strangled by the wishes of pater Hoping for the arms of mater Get to me the sooner or later
  20. I know how much I lean on you Only you can see The changes that I've been through Have left a mark on me You've been as constant as a Northern Star The brightest light that shines It's been you, woman Right down the line
  21. Every night, I still hear All your sighs very clear Now love's gone, gone away As I once heard you say Now I've cried just a little 'cause I loved you so And I've died just a little 'cause I had to go Away
  22. I've called you so many times today And I guess it's all true what your girlfriends say That you don't ever want to see me again And your brother's gonna kill me, and he's six feet ten I guess you'd call it cowardice But I'm not prepared to go on like this I can't, I can't, I can't stand losing I can't, I can't, I can't stand losing I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't stand losing you I can't stand losing you
  23. Shapes of things before my eyes, Just teach me to despise. Will time make men more wise? Here within my lonely frame, my eyes just heard my brain. But will it seem the same? (Come Tomorrow) Will I be older? (Come Tomorrow) May be a soldier. (Come Tomorrow) May I be bolder than today?
  24. I'm sittin' in the railway station Got a ticket to my destination On a tour of one-night stands My suitcase and guitar in hand And every stop is neatly planned For a poet and a one-man band
