  1. Agreed. There seems to be a lot to like about his offense but he seems like a very casual coach as compared to Saban. The players obviously are not accustomed to this and it showed on Saturday. There is NO freaking possibility that Saban loses this game. Absolutely none. The game however did reinforce the fact to me that things without Saban will never be the same.
  2. This was out of character behavior for Malachi Moore. I have never seen him act out like this. He is a player I would love to see on the Bills. This would never, EVER have taken place if Nick Saban was his coach.
  3. Friend come by, say looking for his hat Wants to know where your husband's at She said I don't know, he's on his way to the pen Come on pretty mama, let's get on the road again She's on the road again, sure as you're born Natural born easy, on the road again She's on the road again, sure as you're born
  4. Many years have passed since those summer days Among the fields of barley See the children run as the sun goes down Among the fields of gold You'll remember me when the west wind moves Upon the fields of barley You can tell the sun in his jealous sky When we walked in fields of gold When we walked in fields of gold When we walked in fields of gold
  5. Well, much would depend on the health of our opponents. Do I think that we have the best chance of any team of winning the Super Bowl? No, not at all, but; it isn't 100% impossible that injuries to other teams will improve our chances.
  6. I hear ya but we should be OK. The AFC East is extremely weak and this alone shoud guarantee us many wins. Tua is out, NE is a dumpster fire. The Jets have a good defense. That said, Rodgers made some good throws but on some plays he looked his age, and he took a couple of brutal hits. Their coach will be lucky to finish out the season. I expect the Bills to coast to a division championship and we will see what happens from there.
  7. I hope not. Saban hated when the press and the fans would tell the team just how great they are. Remember when he called it "rat poison?" DeBoer looks very good but I still miss the GOAT. https://www.google.com/search?q=Nick+Saban+rat+poison&oq=Nick+Saban+rat+poison&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOdIBCjEyNjY3ajBqMTWoAgiwAgE&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:16fdb409,vid:z3fJ-CYlRno,st:0
  8. It was a wonderful game, but it was not good for my blood pressure. They really need to stay focused and figure out how they gave up a seemingly insurmountable lead. Next weekend I will be up in Maine and I'm 99% sure that I won't be able to see the game because it will be on the SEC Channel. Even if I do find a place to watch it, I'm thinking that my wife will get pretty upset, and it's unreasonable of me to blame her. I watch every Bills game and every Crimson Tide game so I have no basis to win an argument. Whoever thought it would come to this?
  9. That would be a very bad, dangerous move. Prices are extremely high. Crime is WAY up (in spite of the phony stats). You will pay city income tax, and owning a car will be very costly. Parking alone might cost well into the thousands per year. Illegal aliens are camping out on the streets and preying on citizens, to include violent crimes. NYC is a sanctuary city. Wrt air travel, Pro Palestinian protesters have chosen airports as their place to demonstrate and delay air traffic. Oh, and the mayor and most of his to aides are on their way to jail. Other than the above, moving to NYC is a great idea.
  10. I'm not at all sure how to feel about this game. Georgia did lose Ladd McConkey and Brock Bowers (who I believe has the potential to be as good as or better than Kelce) to the draft. That is a lot to lose but they are still completely stacked with talented players. Let's face it, UGA is a powerhouse, fantastic team. Their great RG is out, but my guess is that they will just replace him with another monster. Kirby is a flat out sensational coach and possibly an even better recruiter. Alabama has a great ground attack, they are 5 deep at tight end, and have excellent receivers. The OL is fine. QB? I wish I could say that I fully trust Milroe but I do not. He is slow to make decisions at times and has taken sacks when he could have ran for huge yardage. Milroe is a sensational runner but he really isn't the best scrambler. He has plenty of wide receivers but the big story is freshman Ryan Williams. Yeah, 28 receptions/285 yds./28.5 yds. per reception/ 4 TDs. Sounds good, right? He is 17 YEARS OLD!!!! I really do hope that he stays healthy. Oh, and I wish Nick Saban was still on the sidelines. In any event, this should be a wonderful game for folks who truly do appreciate college football. I hope that no player on either team suffers an injury. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!
  11. Good question. I'm also not sure how much they want to catch the star players, if at all.
  12. The NFL is far more concerned with The KC Swifties making the Super Bowl than it is with betting.
  13. When you put it like this, it really is amazing. I suppose in the not so far away future there will be billionaire quarterbacks. I'm not angry about this mind you. It really doesn't matter to me, but it's kinda hard to wrap my head around billionaire quarterbacks. I could not think of one single job that I would rather have.
  14. Well, I'm on my way To the city lights To the pretty face That shines her light on the city nights And I gotta catch a noon train I gotta be there on time Oh, it feels so good to know she waits at the end of the line Sweet, sweet city woman I can see your face, I can hear your voice I can almost touch you Sweet, sweet city woman And the banjo and me, we got a feel for singing, yeah, yeah
  15. And there you are, Saying we have the moon, so now the stars, When all you see Is near disaster gazing down on you and me, And there you're standing, Saying we have the whole world in our hands, When all you'll see, Deep inside the world's controlling you and me You'll see perpetual change You'll see perpetual change
  16. I am still amazed watching Allen play. He really is perhaps the most gifted QB in NFL history. He makes difficult passes look easy with his combination of touch, placement, and of course arm strength. I hope that I live long enough to see him inducted into the HOF.
  17. And I hear what you are saying but imo, scenes like this will only increase. Now, college players are driving around in Porsches. Many players will not let it affect them but I think that an increasing number of them will go wild with all of that money. Some of these kids will make more in college than I made in my entire life, and I'm not starving. But ya know, good for them. Many of them will spend the rest of their lives in pain, and they are super talented people. I tend to forsee many more problems like Dashaun down the road, but this could also be me being pessimistic.
  18. Deshaun is probably an example of a player who is no longer hungry. I am of the opinion that not every player who is in their twenties and riding around in a Porsche with a million cash in his pocket will be hungry enough to play professional football. Watson was great at Clemson. Dabo still talks about him. Some players that have this much money seem to lose their motivation. I'm not judging them either. Put me in that position at that age and I would rather not be sacked by Von Miller or some human missle safety on a blitz. I also would not want to take a punch from Mike Tyson. Nope, I'm sure that in my twenties I would rather hang out til all hours, party with the hottest women on the planet, and wake up when I feel like it. My guess is that plenty of teams are going to eat tons of cap space in the future after getting stuck with players who are rich and no longer care, especially given the size of these QB contracts. Dak Prescott might make more money per year than some owners.
  19. That Sir, was a badass Raider team. They had some dangerous men on that squad.
  20. So was Epstein. When the big boys really want you ain't looking good my friend. Look at what is going on today, and btw, I doubt if Ghislaine Maxwell lasts much longer. Do you think she will live long enough to write a tell all book? I'm surprised they didn't get to her yet tbh.
  21. My guess is that one of three things will happen: 1) He will ahem "commit suicide" in prison or be coincidently be murdered. 2) He will go to trial and buy his way into an aquittal. 3) His lawyers will tell him that he is sure to lose and he will talk and name names, and I do mean prominent names. My guess is #2. He is said to have big time political and Hollywood connections. What say you?
  22. Agreed, especially wrt Texas. They seem to have unlimited money, and Sarkisian is a GREAT coach. I consider him to be one of the great offensive minds in all of football, college and pros. Btw, the Arch Maning mania is quite premature imo. If Ewers doesn't come back, I don't expect Texas to win the title. Jmo.
  23. After the very good draft of 2001, productive drafts for us were few and far between. A case can be made that our next productive draft came in 2017, and even at that McDermott traded away the pick for Mahomes. 2009 was decent but remember, this was the year that they foolishly traded away Jason Peters, a GREAT LT. Gilmore and Glenn were productive players in the 2012 draft, but they missed out on the QBs that were named above. Other than that, it's hard (at least for me) to find a Bills draft to get excited about pre 2017. I don't think that many young fans know how much we suffered during the drought years.
  24. EJ was a terrible QB for us, but he is very good and informative on the Sirius College Sports Channel, and sounds like a smart, nice guy.
  25. Come Saturday morning I'm goin' away with my friend We'll Saturday-spend 'til the end of the day-ay Just I and my friend We'll travel for miles in our Saturday smiles And then we'll move on But we will remember Long after Saturday's gone
