  1. I am obviously not woke but imo it would be 100x worse. The very nature of the act alone would make it worse imo. I had a gorgeous young art teacher in 9th grade. She was also very nice. Every kid in my class wanted to do her, including me. I was 15 which is young but my guess is that I would have been OK. The difference is that I think that acts of this nature were quite rare in those days, despite the fact that women did constitute a MUCH higher percentage of teachers than they do today. What I can't figure out is why many teachers now do it, despite the fact that so many were caught, fired, and jailed. Then again, I still read about the occasional police officer taking a bribe from or guarding drug dealers, this after seeing other cops get fired, lose their great pension, lose their families, and get sent to prison for doing so. Wrt police officers, my guess is that a big majority of those committing these crimes have heavy substance and/or gambling issues. As for female teachers, it would seem like a psychiatric condition (although substance thrown in would not surprise me). For male teachers.....pure degeneracy. I hope that the above doesn't offend anyone. It was not meant to. These comments are jmo.
  2. Well, when the pick for Mahomes was traded away (for a sub-par return imo) and a cornerback was drafted , Beane wasn't there. It was a portend of things to come. The following season (2018) they traded up to take Tremaine Edwards in round 0ne. It took @BADOLBILZ4 or 5 years to convince most of this board that he was not worth re-signing. In 2019 they used a #9 on DT Ed Oliver. In 2020 and 2021, both of their top draft selections (a 1st and a 2nd) were used on defensive players. In 2022, they of course traded UP once again for CB Elam. Wonderful. McDermott started this trend of idiocy. We have a QB with generational talent and continued to use our best draft picks for defense, this in a now clearly offense oriented NFL. McDermott is the defense oriented coach. And when his resource filled defense failed in the clutch he was able to blame and fire Frazier. Beane seems to be much more of an administrator than a football man. McDermott is certainly the man behind the curtain. That said, I truly do appreciate your posts, especially wrt the draft. You are a HUGE asset to TBD imo. There is zero hostility in this post. It's just that I have repeatedly tried and just keep failing to understand how you can possibly blame Beane more than McDermott. http://www.drafthistory.com/index.php/teams/bills
  3. Correct me if I am misquoting you but many times you have posted that Beane and McDermott have "equal say" wrt personnel. Once you even said that you think that McDermott could override Beane (a comment with which I fully agree). Given this, why is it suddenly "on Brandon Beane?" It would seem that you are absolving McDermott from any blame, whereas imo he deserves the majority of it.
  4. Now if you feel that you can't go on (Can't go on) Because all of your hope is gone (All your hope is gone) And your life is filled with much confusion (Much confusion) Until happiness is just an illusion (Happiness is just an illusion) And your world around is crumbling down, darlin' (Reach out) Come on, girl, reach on out for me (Reach out) Reach out for me Hah, I'll be there with a love that will shelter you I'll be there with a love that will see you through
  5. Give her some funked up muzak, she treats you nice Feed her some hungry reggae, she'll love you twice The girls don't seem to care tonight As long as the mood is right No static at all (no static, no static at all) FM (no static at all)
  6. Perhaps you are right. Maybe I am just burned out from McDermott trading away draft picks.
  7. All of them. I just can't choose. My only regret is that we didn't use even more resources on them. And why isn't Leodis McKelvin on that list? 😖😮
  8. Correct and for male pedophiles there is no cure. This is their sexual preference. I met Raquel Welch in person when she was well into her forties. Nothing and nobody could have convinced me not to be attracted to her. I will refrain from posting what I think should be done to these cretins.
  9. Why trade for him? We can always trade up again for a first round corner in 2024! Screw blocking and wide receivers, right?
  10. What a complete degenerate scumbag. 😡
  11. The above is a very interesting post, with which I tend to agree. In addition to HC and DC, McDermott has more than an equal say with Beane (who he hired) in terms of the draft. McDermott would make a very good head coach and probably a great defensive coordinator. However, it does seem like the 3 spots that he occupies are a bit much for him. If I owned the team he would be the head coach.....period, and the team would be far better served. Jmo.
  12. She takes the taxi to the good hotel Bon marché, as far as she can tell She drinks the zombie from the coco shell She feels all right, she get it on tonight, yeah Mr. Driver, take me where the music play Papa say "Oh, no hesitation No tears and no hearts breakin' No remorse" "Oh, congratulations This is your Haitian divorce"
  13. You better think twice About leavin' me behind Make up your mind About what you're gonna do You, take my advice Oh woman you've got to choose Take a little time You've got nothing more to lose
  14. A boy is born in hard time Mississippi Surrounded by four walls that ain't so pretty His parents give him love and affection To keep him strong, moving in the right direction Living just enough, just enough for the city
  15. My friends are so distressed And standing on the brink of emptiness No words I know of to express This emptiness I love all of you Hurt by the cold So hard and lonely too When you don't know yourself
  16. Am I wrong to fall so deeply in love with you Knowin' I got a wife and two little children depending on me too? And am I wrong to hunger for the gentleness of your touch Knowing I got someone else's home that needs me just as much? If lovin' you is wrong I don't wanna be right If lovin' you is wrong I don't wanna be right
  17. Times are hard You're afraid to pay the fee So you find yourself somebody Who can do the job for free When you need a bit of lovin' 'Cause your man is out of town That's the time you get me runnin' And you know I'll be around I'm a fool to do your dirty work Oh yeah I don't wanna do your dirty work No more I'm a fool to do your dirty work Oh yeah
  18. There will be no anger tonight. The Bills will win by 28 points, Josh is going to throw 4 tds, and I am dead serious. GO BILLS!!!!!!
  19. That is not the worst idea. We can go that way. That would seem to be somewhat realistic. Or, we can just wait until April 24 so McDermott can devote the entire draft to CBs and safeties (both seemingly apparent needs). Trading up to do so is fine too if he deems it necessary.
  20. Well, I'm on my way To the city lights To the pretty face That shines her light on the city nights And I gotta catch a noon train I gotta be there on time Oh, it feels so good to know she waits at the end of the line
  21. Why not? I am pretty sure that Josh is clearly superior to Jalen Hurts.
  22. Jokeman, have you checked out Jermaine Burton? He really improved this season. I think that he is averaging 22 yards per reception right now, this without a great quarterback. He doesn't have Tyreek Hill/Waddle speed but he has excellent moves and consistently gets open. I heard that in previous seasons he might have been a bit of a head case but now (as a senior) he supposedly bought in. I think that he would make a great #2 receiver for Josh. Let me know what you think!
  23. Some of your moves sound great! I'm not sure that I would fire McDermott. I might, but I definitey would strip away his power wrt the draft. He cannot resist defensive players and even needlessly trades away picks to get them. After doing so I would give him one season to see a clear improvement. If that didn't work then I would show him the door. Jmo
  24. Baby, here I am, and I'm a man upon the scene I can give you what you want, but you got to come home with me I got a whole lot of good old loving and I got some in store When I get through throwin' it on to you, got to come back for more Boys and things will come by the dozen Ain't nothin' but drug store love Pretty little thing, let me light your candle 'Cause, mama, I'm sure hard to handle; now, yes, I am
