  1. Yeah, I posted about Burton before the draft. The thing is, when you have a great QB like Josh Allen, who needs a quality receiver late in round two when there are safeties to be had?
  2. Now listen baby You try to give me your money You better save it babe Save it for your rainy day I have only one burnin' desire Let me stand next to your fire
  3. In my little town I never meant nothing, I was just my father's son, hmm-hmm Saving my money Dreamin' of glory Twitching like a finger on a trigger of a gun Really nothing but the dead and dying back in my little town Nothing but the dead and dying back in my little town
  4. The sound of gunfire, off in the distance I'm getting used to it now Lived in a brownstone, lived in a ghetto I've lived all over this town This ain't no party, this ain't no disco This ain't no fooling around No time for dancing, or lovey-dovey I ain't got time for that now
  5. Sadly, 15 dollars is a great price for an excellent sandwich these days. Last week I went to Katz's Deli and got a pastrami on rye and a Dr. Browns cream soda. It cost me more than 30 dollars in all. The sandwich had enough meat for 3 people (of course I ate it all) and was delicious. Still, I don't know how much longer these price hikes can keep up before the economy bursts. https://localmenu.katzsdelicatessen.com/menu-and-local/hot-sandwiches.html
  6. Come doused in mud, soaked in bleach As I want you to be As a trend, as a friend As an old memoria, memoria
  7. Dear Mister Fantasy play us a tune Something to make us all happy Do anything take us out of this gloom Sing a song, play guitar Make it snappy You are the one who can make us all laugh But doing that you break out in tears Please don't be sad if it was a straight mind you had We wouldn't have known you all these years
  8. Oh, this heart of mine carries a heavy load When I think about how I've hurt you so After you been, been so good to me I've been unfaithful, darling I've caused you misery A feeling of guilt, oh it tortures me And only you my darling, oh can set me free And darling all, all I need, is just to hear you say you forgive me Forgive me baby All, all I need, is to have you touch my hand Say you understand, baby
  9. Marv seemed to be a very nice man, but any number of good coaches would have won at least one Super Bowl. As a GM he was exceptionally horrific. He and his clone Jauron set back the franchise MANY years with the 2006 draft, their first. It didn't get better after that. When Jauron came from Chicago we were excited on TBD. You however told us that he sucked before he ever botched a draft and lost us a game. One of my favorite things about TSW is when people argue with you as if they are experts and you are dumb. 😁 Great stuff!!!
  10. After Jerry, the band I enjoyed the most was Furthur. I was at the following show and it was great. They also did a fantastic version of "Shakedown Street." I'm not thrilled by Dead and Co. At this point I would rather was Melvin Seals and the JGB. Hey, jmo.
  11. His music will live on to the next century, that is if the world still exists I thought that Pigpen was strictly vocals and harmonica.
  12. You got me working boss man, a workin' around the clock, I want a little drink of whiskey, you sure won't let me stop. Big boss man, can't you hear me when I call? You ain't so big, you just tall, that's just about all.
  13. Q) What did OJ say to Nicole after he killed her? Ans.) Your waiter will be here shortly.
  14. If I had a gun for every ace I have drawn I could arm a town the size of Abilene Don't you push me, baby, because I'm moanin' low And you know I'm only in it for the gold All that I am asking for is ten gold dollars And I could pay you back with one good hand You can look around about the wide world over And you'll never find another honest man
  15. Yeah, hold me tight With all your might Now let your lovin' flow Real sweet and slow Woman, take me in your arms Rock your baby Woman, take me in your arms Rock your baby
  16. Good point but they are still dangerous. Tua is by no means great but he has shown that he can find those fantastic receivers. He threw for a 69% completion percentage and over 4,600 yards. That said, I think that he was forever compromised by the injury at Alabama. Years ago, the Dolphins would probably be a .500 team due to their lack of defense. The thing is, the NFL now resembles the Arena League in terms of scoring. They will be a threat as long as Hill and Waddle are healthy, either of whom is better than all of our wide receivers combined. Don't misunderstand, I think the Bills are better than the phins, (primarily due to Josh) but the Bills would seem to be the more well rounded team, perhaps by a lot. And btw I enjoyed football more before the rule changes but I respect the fact that most of the changes were necessary. It is what it is.
  17. Do you think that they have done enough to provide weapons to Josh Allen? Obviously, I for one don't.
  18. Do it Bro! You Caleb Downs thief! 😁 That kid is GREAT and is going to win games for you. He is so freaking great that I wouldn't mind using a first round pick on him, a safety. Yes, I said that.
  19. Then the door was open and the wind appeared The candles blew and then disappeared The curtains flew and then he appeared Saying don't be afraid Come on, baby (and she had no fear) And she ran to him (then they started to fly) They looked backward and said goodbye (she had become like they are) She had taken his hand (she had become like they are) Come on, baby (don't fear the reaper)
  20. If you hear that same sweet song again Will you know why? Anyone who sings a tune so sweet Is passin' by Laugh in the sunshine, sing Cry in the dark, fly through the night Don't cry now, don't you cry Don't you cry anymore, la, la, la, la Sleep in the stars, don't you cry Dry your eyes on the wind, la, la, la, la RIP Robert Hunter
  21. I was going to tell a joke about OJ's death but it's a little early. I think that maybe tomorrow I'l take a stab at it.
  22. A beautiful song imo. Sadly, it was about Walter becker's heroin addiction by most accounts.
