  1. It works so well foir the Eagles because: 1) Although he doesn't look that much the part, Jalen Hurts is a monster in the weight room. He is super strong and is very tough to stop. 2) Watch the replays and look at that offensive line. They are crushing defenders. Defense are smaller these day because it is more of a passing league. I have seen Landon Dickerson push defenders three yards or more into the endzone. I could have scored a TD on some of those plays. OK I would be in either the hospital or morgue upon completion but you get my point. I think it is good for the game. If other teams want to do this, nothing is stopping them from concentrating more on blockers on draft day.Barkley is great, but he didn't get those yards on his own. He had a great, physical OL in front of him. If the Bills were utilizing this play as well as the Eagles the fans cheering would be deafening, and I would be leading the chorus. Jmo.
  2. You got me runnin', goin' out of my mind You got me thinkin' that I'm wastin' my time Don't bring me down No, no, no, no, no Ooh-ooh-hoo I'll tell you once more before I get off the floor Don't bring me down
  3. If you ever feel sorrow For things you might have done With no hope for tomorrow In the setting of the sun And the ocean is howling Of things that might have been That last good morning sunrise Will be the brightest you've ever seen In the moonlight, in the midnight In the moonlight, midnight moonlight In the moonlight, in the midnight In the moonlight, midnight moonlight
  4. Everybody's trembling and running around Picking up their money, tearing the tepee down Foreman wants a penny about to go insane Trying to get the workers out the way of the train Engineer blowing the whistle loud and long Can't stop the train, gotta let it roll on
  5. He is and always was a wonderful person and I'm very happy for the man.
  6. Once beneath the stars The universe was ours Love was all we knew And all I knew was you I wonder if you know I wonder if you think about it Once upon a time In your wildest dreams
  7. I don't know why you think this. If Bowers played in Buffalo he would walk in the door as the team's best receiver. Josh would use him to the point of taking reception numbers away from out wideouts. I can't even imagine the TD numbers that Bowers would put up with Josh Allen as his QB. I do see your point that comparing Kincaid to Bowers is not fair, in that Bowers has the potential to be as good as or better than Kelce, or even Gronk. Don't you think that Josh would be tossing Bowers TDs almost at will, to the point that the numbers of every other receiver would decrease? I think that a healthy combination of Josh and Bowers would be unstoppable and make the Bills Super Bowl winners. Of course this is jmo.
  8. And if she says to you She don't love me (oh-oh-oh) Just give her my message Tell her of my plea And I know Well, if she had me back again Oh, I would never make her sad I've got a heart full of soul
  9. Rob Johnson broke my heart. I admit it: When he came to town I thought that he would be great. I had seen one of his games with the Jaguars and he completed almost every pass. RJ was big, an excellent runner, had a cannon, and was pretty accurate. Despite all of this he was horrible. I was at the game when he was on the Redskins and was worried for his life. He took numerous brutal hits. In any event, I suppose I would take Tyrod.
  10. What you tryin' to do with my soul What you tryin' to do with my soul Everything I had was yours And now I'm closing all the doors What you tryin' to do with my soul
  11. Well, the only person talking about love thy brother is the preacher And it seems, nobody's interested in learning, but the teacher Segregation, determination, demonstration, integration Aggravation, humiliation, obligation to our nation Ball of confusion Oh yeah, that's what the world is today Woo, hey, hey
  12. They call Alabama the Crimson Tide.
  13. I'm not trying to get into an argument, but I'm wondering, does the above stat takes into account the extended schedule? I ask this because some of those teams included in this stat might have also sat there QBs in the final game when they already had clinched, this in a 14 game season. Also, the running was much more prevalent before the rule changes which would seem to indicate less scoring. Again, just asking.
  14. Ask him for water, he poured me some wine We finished the bottle and broke into mine. You get what you come for, ya ready to go Well, it's one in ten thousand that come for the show. Abraham and Isaac diggin' on a well Mama came quick with the water witch spell Well cool clear water well you can't ever tell.
  15. McDermott is a defensive minded coach. I don't think that Beane had the authority to pick a wide receiver in the first round without the approval/consent of McDermott. I do believe that Beane has the power to make trades in order to get players that McDermott and the staff want, but I do not think that he has the final say. So, we disagree but I appreciate the dialogue.
  16. OK but if the above is indeed true, shouldn't McDermott shoulder some of the blame for any draft blunders? I see post after post singling out Beane, and Beane certainly doesn't appear to be making these picks in a vacuum. I have never worked in a place where more than one person had "final" say. Is it even possible? As I have previously stated, my opinion of McDermott as a coach has improved. That said, most of our early draft picks look to have his signature on it, if trading away Mahomes to the Chiefs and selecting a first round corner (before the arrival of Beane) is to be used as evidence, or at the very least suspicion of this.
  17. Do you think that Beane has to answer to McDermott much more than Howie must answer to anyone?
  18. You thought that you had got me in your grip Babe, it looks like you was not so smart And I became too slippery for you But, let me tell ya' that was nothing new I'm a dark horse Running on a dark race course I'm a blue moon Since I picked up my first spoon I've been a cool jerk Just looking for the source I'm a dark horse
  19. I was at the game. He tore Alabama apart. Here are the stats..... https://www.espn.com/college-football/boxscore/_/gameId/401520316
  20. Correct. At least I had the right state!
  21. Yes and Bryce Paup was a 6th rounder of Green Bay iirc.
  22. It was so long ago that I don't remember the year, but it was the game where Flutie went in for a 1 or 2 yard TD against Tampa Bay in the last seconds of a game to win, after a tremendous stop by Pat Williams. The TD looked to be on a busted play. I was at this game in Rich Stadium and the fans went beserk. Old ladies actually fell on me and I wound up on the bottom of a pile of people. The madness continued into the parking lot. Great times!
