  1. When the Bills make the playoffs, let's sit around and question the personnel decisions of other teams.
  2. The gave him way too much money under any circumstances.
  3. e-man, do you think that the eagles had any reason to get rid of Shady? Was it because Chip Kelly is a racist?
  4. Either way, it is WAY too much money. We could also do without the off field antics, no? There was no reason to re-work his contract. None whatsoever.
  5. Look, I know that he has a lot to prove and I am ONLY talking about running style, but that in that video his style reminds me of Franco Harris. If he is healthy and get some blocking, I think we are going to get lucky with this kid.
  6. I love the Bama defense and saw pretty much every game in which Ragland has played. I do however think that Rex has a ton of nerve to compare the mess he put on the field last season to the Bama defense. If Bama's defense was that bad, Kirby Smart would have been fired long before the season was over. That said, enjoy watching Ragland! I am telling you that the kid is always around the football. You are going to appreciate this football player.
  7. If one is going to praise the Ryans, why not Miller. Still, Astro is the man!
  8. Yeah, they really should have addressed RT and even depth at guard. Same old song by a different band. I don't however think that this selection was a bad one. We might need this kid sooner than later due to injuries.
  9. True, and Ragland is more agile that Brown.
  10. As a life long Crimson Tide Fan, here is my take: Ragland is portrayed as a big hitter of sorts. He IS, but he wasn't THE biggest hitter on the Tide, as hard as this must be to believe. In my strong opinion, Ragland wasn't even the hardest hitting LB on the Tide! Reuben Foster (who stayed in school ) hits like a truck. Here ya go: What Ragland is GREAT at is being around the football. He is NOT as bad in coverage as some claim. AGAIN, he is right there where the football is. Guys like that can win you games with big plays. He can blitz too, but I openly confess that I do not understand what Ryan is trying to do on defense. Ragland can be effective as a blitzing LB, better than his college numbers indicate. But it won't work as well when Hughes and Dareus are running backwards into pass coverage. How could it? As much as I like the pick, Whaley continues to be a concern with regards to trading away our resources, let alone the contract to McCoy and even Clay. And he still has not addressed the RT position, which is just stupid. In summary, I urge fellow Bills Fans not to worry so much about Ragland. The kid can play. From where I sit, Whaley and the Ryans are the problem, but not for long imo. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. You are a huge Bills Fan bandit. Surely you have seen the results of using too many resources on defensive backs and running backs. It was one of the primary causes of the lack of playoff appearances for 16 years. Of this there is little doubt. I don't know if you agree but imo Tyrod is the qb of the future. Of course I might be mistaken. We need to protect him as much as possible and at this time there are college teams who are stronger and deeper at RT than we are. My guess is there are several of them. I also see a need for pure pass rushers. They are just so hard to get, but do you trust Ryan to use them properly? Btw, I am all in for another receiver. As I said before, offense might be the way to go despite our defensive needs. My feeling about this will certainly change once they get rid of Rex. Thanks for the well wishes Bro. :)
  12. It might really be a good idea to focus on offense because Rex doesn't seem to have much of a say in it. Another receiver, a RT, and some OL depth could probably do a lot for the Bills.
  13. You want to use a #1 pick on an injured safety? I don't think I would brag so much about that.
  14. Aren't you sick of all those playoff appearances that using our resources on defensive backs took us to?
  15. Do you think CJ Mosely is "at best a run stuffer?" Mosely is what we wished Kiko to be and 10x more. Ragland doesn't cover the pass as well as CJ, but he can cover some and he is MUCH stronger. National title or not, I don't think that many understand the 2015 Crimson Tide. They were great because of the defense, which had 8 or 9 players on the DL who were spectacular. It was hard for lbs to get many sacks in their system because the linemen were applying just so much pressure, and the dbs occasionally were sent in to blitz. If there is any concern about Ragland, it is the 13 reps at the combines which was strange. Some say he was hurt but who knows? I do really think that he would take a far more active role on the Bills than he did on the Tide. I am NOT being a wiseass but Rex sends players such as Dareus and Mario Williams on pass coverage, or has them standing there jumping and waving in an idiotic system. Kirby Smart let his linemen do their job. My point is that Ragland would have far more responsibilities on the Bills. I don't know how many games he would win us, nor how many games we even CAN win with Rex. What I DO know is that Ragland is a fine player who is big, strong, quick, smart, and listens to his coaches, and I have watched him in every game he has ever played at Alabama.
  16. Norman getting a deal like this tells me yet again that if Gilmore is even almost as good as people here claim, he should be traded for a first round pick. The Bills, imo, should pay more attention to signing Glenn and especially Tyrod than to giving Gilmore 50 or so million guaranteed. I don't care about the money, it isn't mine. I care about cap space.
  17. I am not sure how much better they are drafting. Sammy is good but Whaley gave up a ton for him. We gave up a 4th in a trade for a second rate running back. Kuandjio flat out sucks. EJ? Come on, really. Huge cap space has been used up on good but not great players. Otoh, Karlos was a very good pick. Hey, the draft is very important, but we are not going anywhere with this clown for a coach, let alone his loser brother. Whaley is spending like a kid in a candy store, and he should be worrying about signing Tyrod. It's still a mess.
  18. You are just on fire!!!!!! Did someone who likes aggressive defenses steal your password? :)
  19. McCoy, at that price, was an awful move. Whaley re-worked his contract. Are you thinking that this was OK?
