  1. I have no quarrel with any of your points.
  2. It's nice to have the #10, but our Bills need a huge amount of help. I don't know how much cap space there is, but my guess is that there isn't a whole lot to spend on free agents. This would tend to make this draft very important. The Bills have multiple weaknesses. I hope that a team comes along and makes us a strong offer to trade down. We need pass rushers, blockers, linebackers, a receiver and defensive backs. This is not to mention the qb position. Maybe some extra picks in 2017 and 2018 could help fill these needs. That said, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Whaley trades up for Adams or a corner. But at this time of the year there is always hope.
  3. The only thing that we KNEW for sure is that you would find a way to bore us by putting the blame on the fans yet again. Carry on.
  4. How completely true! How dare he criticize a guy like Dareus who always does the right thing!
  5. I would take him back in a second. When Rex came to town he promised a "bully." That of course was a joke. Buffalo is a tough town. The Bills need an aggressive coach and a physical team. I also think that some day he might be a good head coach as well. He didn't exactly go to a good situation in Cleveland and what happened there means little to nothing imo.
  6. You are SO right about Howard. He has very fresh legs. Think about it.....Derrick Henry was on the team last year. Every season he is surrounded by excellent players so he gets less reps. Also wrt Howard, I have seen all of his games at Bama. Over the years he got bigger. His frame supports it and now he is an awesome blocker, and not just due to his strength. His technique is to die for. As for your comment about receivers, there might be exceptions. Oakland has a pair of really good receivers, and I think this is a lot of help to Carr. Hey, wr is not #1 on my first round wish list, but I would rather have one than a defensive back.
  7. I agree. My question to Bills Fans is who are they going to get who is better than Tyrod for next year? The answer is clear.....nobody. EJ is pure garbage. Trent Edwards was a better qb. I for one hope that Whaley doesn't trade away more picks, but I suspect that he will. Imo he can't control himself (much like an addict), and is just a nightmare of a GM. It ain't looking good.
  8. 12 step groups are ok.
  9. LOL I was going to PM you and ask you what you think of him. Generally, I am not fond of qbs with narrow frames. Do you find that wide shoulders help a qb? His arm does seem a tad weak. He looks like he is pushing the ball, no?
  10. Exactly! And fwiw, Ross Tucker ridiculed the Bills this morning. He wants to know how a man who drafted EJ Manuel can be allowed to choose a new coach.
  11. I think that we are on or close to the same page KOK. And as bad as Marrone was, I think he was better than Rex. At least he seemed to hold some type of authority. Or maybe it's just me grasping at straws.
  12. And why was Marrone hired? Who brought this nobody to Buffalo? Look, there is no way I can prove it but I said from day 1 it was Brandon. They were paisans on some committee up in Syracuse. Brandon and Whaley are proven losers. Brandon will make you money for a while, then it will all come tumbling down. We are not even a laughing stock any more. We are an afterthought and we just committed to these two jackasses. This is bad........
  13. It doesn't open. Care to summarize it?
  14. A sad state of affairs indeed. Whaley is being rewarded for amateurism and idiocy. He lacks discipline just like Rex, he just looks and sounds better. It really is a pity, but I doubt that this team will improve with a stronger Whaley. It will probably get worse.
  15. Who sucks, EJ, Whaley or both?
  16. Is Adams better than Landon Collins? Landon is killing it on the Giants, and he was the first pick of round 2. The Giants did trade up for him, but he WAS there. In the same draft they took a blocker with their #1, and now the are in the playoffs. Of course, they have a qb who is good. Next year, Alabama might have 2 safeties coming out. The first is Minkah Fitzpatrick. I hope they leave him at safety because if they do, he looks like a superstar from where I sit. The other, Ronnie Harrison hits like a young Atwater. He crushes people and is probably one of the guys you are talking about with a short shelf life. This kid hits harder than anyone I have seen in quite a few years.
  17. Fair questions... Whitner stayed the life of his contract, one worth more than 36 million iirc. Yes, I know there is now a rookie cap in place. Now, if you draft a good qb, wr, ot, or pass rusher, you have a player who is comparatively dirt cheap at a key, expensive position instead of tying up your best resources to a "secondary" position. I would love to have a great safety on the Bills, and with a top pick too, just as soon as we strengthen the OL, bolster the pass rush, and of course improve at qb.
  18. But would drafting a first round safety win or lose games for the franchise? If you guys are THAT sure he is a great player, I believe you. Still, if he is a great safety, when do we address more important issues? Wouldn't you (and you blokes) rather see a player like Jonathan Allen for example? Or a big, fast receiver? I know it sounds crazy but imo, a player can be "good" and not help a team make the playoffs. I have seen this too often.
  19. White and company will be joined by the Bills fanbase at this introduction. The Bills will once again be doomed for 4 or 5 years when they waste a first round pick on a safety.
  20. Whitner actually COST the team many games. He couldn't cover worth a dime and his tackling skills were highly overrated. He actually collected his entire rookie contract from the Bills. Remember, he actually held out and was paid more than 36 million from that deal. This is a bad video, but does it bring back ugly memories?
  21. You make a good case. The thing is, I would prefer a 3 million dollar Searcy to a 15 million dollar Gilmore. I would take the leftover 12 million and put it towards a qb, pass rusher or blocker. THESE are the players we should be drafting and developing. They always should have been our main focus. Once again, jmo.
  22. I agree, but only if we bring back Losman. He never got a fair chance and threw a great deep ball.
