  2. Agree 100%. Hutchinson, Williams, St. Brown, and Sewell are excellent players imo. Goff certainly has enough weapons and a very good OL.
  3. Dressed myself in green I went down to the sea Try to see what's going down Maybe read between the lines Had a feeling I was falling, falling, falling Turned around to see Heard a voice calling, calling, calling You was comin after me Back to me
  4. My friend I am just so sorry. I pray that God rests her soul and provides comfort to you and all of your loved ones.
  5. Of course. I want to see if my boxes win.
  6. Don't go chasin' waterfalls Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to I know that you're gonna have it your way or nothing at all But I think you're moving too fast
  7. Thanks. I really mean this. What would a playoff Sunday be without an extra shot of depression?
  8. Actually that is a great question! I am unable to watch every college team and focus primarily on the SEC, Alabama specifically. I was extremely high on Brian Branch for years. I saw him play every phase of the position (S) and he was very good at it to include run stopping, pass defending. interceptions, and even blitzing. He is also said to be very smart. With the Bills picking at 28 I would have been OK with taking him late in round 2, and perfectly fine with taking him in the 3rd. Check him out in the playoffs today! Are there other safeties as good as or better than Branch? I'm sure there are, BUT; I would NOT place as high a priority on them as I would a WR or OL. My thing is that the best corner or safety in the world can only cover an NFL receiver for so long. Eventually, the WR will get open no matter who is covering them. Josh Allen is one of, if not THE most talented QBs that I have ever watched. He is a bigger John Elway. If he had receivers like Tyreek Hill and Jalen Waddle (and good protection) he would probably win the next 5 Superbowls . He might even do something similar with the Eagles wideouts. The focus needs to be on maximizing what Josh can do, not the freaking secondary. Levy cost us dearly by not replacing Kelly, Smith, Thurman and Reed when they were getting old. Instead, he focused on the secondary for many years and the decline began. His 2006 draft as GM set this team back for MANY years and I said that it would right here on this board. In any event if I thought that a particular safety was a spectacular player, I would be reluctantly OK with a late 2nd round pick and fine with a 3rd. Sorry to ramble but you asked LOL.
  9. May God bless her and grant her a complete and speedy recovery.
  10. I absolve Beane from much of the blame for some of the personnel decisions. For instance, do you think that it was Beane's idea to trade up for Tre Edwards or Kaiir Elam? Or even to draft Ed Oliver at #9? These picks have McDermott written all over them imo, especially given the fact that he gave away Mahomes. Btw I am just as happy with Josh but that is not my point. We lucked into Josh after McDermott made that rather stupid move.. We will find out soon enough who is in charge. Any GM in his right mind would want our 2024 draft to focus on wide receivers for Josh and to reinforce the OL which is aging at (at least at center). Doing this makes sense from a football and an economic point of view. Better receivers and a healthier Josh will draw a lot more fans than a safety, as well as win more games. If we draft a safety in round 1 (which I sadly expect) or even a corner, do you think that this will come from Beane? I just can't visualize this but as always, jmo.
  11. Bills Fans are clearly the best fans of any team in any sport imo. I'm a fan of the Crimson Tide and it has been incredibly easy and tons of enjoyment. Alabama Fans are rabid, but being a Bills fan involves a certain amount of pain. The truth is that we shouldn't get THIS emotionally involved. Life is too short to suffer for days after an insane loss. We shouldn't take wide rightS so hard. We should not wince in pain when our receiver drops an EASY TD pass with no time left and blames God. That said, the fact is that we do anyway. I knew that we would miss that kick this past Sunday, and I knew that we would lose the 13 second game and I'm not proud of this. And, I guarantee that I am not alone. It was merely a defense mechanism, one that took 40 or so years to develop. I don't suffer as much as I used to. I'm too old and life is too short but the pain from these debacles still exists. The thing is, I would not trade being a Bills Fan for being a fan any other NFL team under any conditions. Being a Bills Fan has helped teach me (and even my daughters) never to give up. I have made friends at the stadium and on this board. I will B word and moan (especially about almost every draft LOL) but I will be back to the stadium and remain a Bills Fan on my death bed. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Pack your grip, Takin' you on a trip Ain't no seats, All we got's dancin' feet Leave you worries behind 'Cause rain, shine, won't mind We're ridin' on the groove line tonight
  13. Not sure. I heard that their OL was old.
  14. Why do you think this? Is it because of the salary cap, McDermott refusing to stop his focus on defense, or both?
  15. When I think about those nights in Montreal I get the sweetest thoughts of you and me Memories of love above the city lights Oooo, I've tried so hard to take it But alone my heart won't make it I just wanna stop And tell you what I feel about you, babe I just wanna stop I never wanna live without you, babe I just gotta stop For your love...
  16. Make me shine just a little bit, just a little bit (With just a touch of love) It's in my mind just a little bit, just a little bit (You got to) Keep me high, baby, just a little bit, just a little bit (With just a touch of love) Can we spend some time? (Can we spend some time?)
  17. Smart move by a great coach. It is harder (and often pays more) to coach a prominent college team than an NFL team. College coaches have to spend untold hours recruiting, and travelling around to do so. Saban travelled so much that he often used a helicopter. College coaches have to go to recruit's homes, and now many of the parents (or even friends) act as agents. Very smart move for Harbaugh and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he is quite successful.
  18. EXCELLENT!!!!! I hope some of their best players like warm weather!!!
  19. Something that stupid wouldn't surprise me even a little bit. In fact, I can see McDermott actually trading up in round one for a safety. Josh needs wide receivers and protection but first things first. Let's grab a safety. This can be a 2006 Groundhog day. Wouldn't that be swell?!?! https://www.drafthistory.com/index.php/teams/bills
  20. Perfect post!!!
  21. Augie, none of this is personal. I make the case that McDermott has too much power and that Beane is his hand selected puppet. I also think that McDermott has botched most of his drafts and even contract signings by being too defense oriented for today's passing, offense dominated NFL. When I post these things, some folks like it. Others choose the vomit icon and that's OK too. Imo, McDermott is a decent game coach with WAY too much authority. I also am skeptical of him being able to be in charge of the entire organization and also run the defense. Would I like to see him replaced? I sure would, but this should not and hopefully does not put me at odds with other Bills Fans. It's simply jmo. Anyway, I hope that all is well. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. No, but maybe we can help him with his legal fees and/or settlements.
  23. We were so close, there was no room We bled inside each others wounds We all had caught the same disease And we all sang the songs of peace Lay down, lay down, lay it all down Let your white birds smile up at the ones who stand and frown Lay down, lay down, lay it all down Let your white birds smile up at the ones who stand and frown
  24. Is he choking in the clutch?
