  1. Boldin is lucky to have 1 good year left even with Brady at qb. Imo he is old and all but useless. Now, toss the fact that the Bills are going nowhere this season and yes, even a late round pick sounds good.
  2. You are probably right CB but I am going to go out on a limb here and say that imo, Miller is vastly overrated on this board. That said, Ducasse might be one of the worst players in football.
  3. I sure do have my share WaT. I said that Rob Johnson would be a great quarterback and wasn't too concerned when the Bills got rid of Pat Williams. I also made a bet with cb97 that Aaron Murray would be drafted by the 3rd round (thus his signature which will probably stay up until Judgement Day ) Still, my record is better than all of the Bills GMs combined, and it pales in comparison to R.Rich, BADOL, most (not all) of the draftniks on this board, and a slew of other posters on this board. On THIS BOARD Wat!!! Maybin? An overweight, injured RT (Williams) over McKinnie? Whitner? Roscoe Parrish? Giving up the world for Watkins? Spiller? Two 4th round picks to move 8 spots in round 2 for Ragland? I left out a slew of disasters, and won't even get into the nutty, weird extensions and free agent signings. But in any event you are right. Pros will miss on draft picks very often, let alone people like us. Still, it's almost as if it would be hard to draft as poorly as the Bills even if one was trying to do so. We will know in May of 2018 if things have changed.
  4. Absolutely.
  5. Dave, I can't speak for everyone but I don't see any grave dancing. In fact, I wish him well and from day one I said that he was one of the worst draft choices I had ever seen. That is a heavy statement coming from a Bills Fan. It isn't about hate dave. Imo people marvel at the fact that posters on a message board (with you near the top of the list) have been on the money WAY more than Bills management. It is pretty amazing, wouldn't you say? He seemed to be a good person and I pray that he and his family are successful in their future endeavors.
  6. Wasn't he on the verge of saving humanity? In any event he is old and washed up. I would be all over a 7th.
  7. Please explain to me how drafting yet another 1st round corner does in fact "support the development" of a young quarterback next year. IMO, the only excuse for not drafting a qb would be if they didn't think he was a good one. The rules favor the qb so much that a player such as Brady can play at 40. Years ago he would be beaten half to death at his age. Receivers own the middle these days as well. Teams run sets with 4 or 5 wideouts. A corner only covers one of them, and we drafted other 1st round corner, qb problems notwithstanding. It was dumb and it doesn't matter how good this corner is either, UNLESS all of the quarterbacks drafted at #10 or after suck.
  8. Don't worry Bro. If he is 3rd on a depth chart at any position on the offensive line of the Buffalo Bills, you can bet your last dollar that he sucks and that his NFL future is dim to say the least.
  9. There is not one chance that the Bills will pick at 15. I mean none whatsoever. Thanks for the effort but why not do one with the Bills drafting a #5.
  10. Ya think? Go on you tube and look at some of the plays he is making in SF. So did I yolo. I said it many times to John C. that there were at least 3 better blockers on that same team.
  11. Scott, I think a question we can ask ourselves is, IF the Bills could release or trade Dareus with little to no cap consequences, how would you feel about doing so? You see what I mean? This scenario changes things quite a bit imo. I have been a fan of his since he was on the Tide and I am admittedly getting fed up. Greg Cossell says that Allen has more raw talent than Darnold. I haven't seen enough of him to have a pertinent remark but I intend to watch him this season if/when I can.
  12. It would seem to be impossible for professionals to be THAT bad at their jobs. A sharp 15 year old kid with 3 or 4 draft magazines would be clearly superior to the cast of clowns that ran our football team.
  13. Great choices! I will throw in Da' Norris Searcy and none other than Darrick Holmes!
  14. Harvey, what's up Bro???!!! I hope all is well!
  15. I generally agree with your post but will point out that Peters moved from tight end to right tackle, then to left tackle. Bandit is also correct. There is LESS of a difference between LT and RT these days, although imo one still exists. A RT can come a little closer to getting by on brute strength. A top LT absolutely must have excellent agility and mobility.
  16. That's ok. Who needs Brady or BB? They have Gilmore! :)
  17. I am thinking that Wood is not THE most overrated player the Bills have fielded this century, but he certainly is in the top 5. Imo, this signing is a bad indication of how they will allocate this bevy of early draft picks they now possess. I mean, who needs to draft blockers when you have players like Miller and Wood? I agree Badol, this was a total waste of money.
  18. Yeah, I know. They sure had a rough time at USC last year. Maybe you should go eat a "role" and have some coffee.
  19. Nihilism? Ya think? History tells us that his comment, however sarcastic, made perfect sense.
  20. I'm surprised. After all, Gilmore was a "shut down corner."
  21. Bravo my friend. Bravo!!! Imo, a 2006 type draft would mark the ruination of this franchise in every way, including remaining in WNY.
  22. The above is a perfect description of Tyrod. His mobility will also serve as a band aid for the weak OL, just like when Doug Flutie was here. I like Tyrod but he just doesn't seem to be a good enough passer to take advantage of the rule changes. Peterman? I have no idea how good he is. As far as I know he could be a decent qb or worse than Trent Edwards. I know it is early but do you think that he will be any good?
  23. Yes. The Bills should have grabbed a corner. He was totally worth taking. Maybe they should have taken him a #8, right?
  24. I know. It would seem almost as dumb as drafting a sub-par running back in the top 10 without much blocking. :)
