Trade down again and grab a safety, then another corner or 2 in the 3rd. -

The Bills will continue to lose and in 4 years people will still argue that this was a smart draft pick because he is a "good" player. -
Official First Round Hopes and Expectation:

This team is just so easy to predict. -

Fantastic pick! What a wonderful philosophy our team continues to employ. A first round corner is a one way ticket to the super bowl, or at least deep into the playoffs! Hopefully we can find a safety in round 2. -
Bills looking to move down: rapoport

So would I, in a split second. -
If this is an inappropriate mew thread, mods please remove it. I am only posting this so it can be referred to in days to come, if anyone is that much of a fanatic. I respect all opinions and I'm curious as to who fellow posters actually want us to draft. Hopes: 1) I would like to see a qb at #10. My choice would be Watson if he is there. He may bust out but if he doesn't, we win football games and have some value in Tyrod. It's all good. 2) If no qb, trade down if we can get AT LEAST another 2nd round pick. A 3rd and a 2018 first would be great. If we go back to 20 or lower, I want Cam Robinson. A solid RT would help Tyrod AND the run game. We are presently weak at RT and teams can and will exploit this. 3) If we stay at 10 and don't take a qb, I hope Jonathan Allen is there. He is a great player with a great attitude. Hey, sorry for picking Tide players but these are the guys I watch, and have seen them in all of their games. Expectations: Despite the depth at secondary in this draft, I am almost certain that we will draft a defensive back. This even if we do not trade down. I am thinking safety, but a corner wouldn't surprise me. It's the way we roll. Also, allow me to thank the TSW posters and especially the draftniks. As rough as things can get being a Bills Fan, you folks keep it fun and entertaining, and provide the best sports dialogue on the web. I mean this. Thanks also to the mods and SDS. Enjoy the draft!!! God bless you all and GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I take quite a bit of heat about Coach Saban and the Crimson Tide so I threw a small, friendly dig. No harm intended. The truth is it can happen to any coach. These guys can only do and say so much to these kids but when it comes down to it we all have to contend with that thing called free will. ROLL TIDE!!!!!!

Hogan and Gilly Prove Bills Scouting Superiority

Fans are rightfully angry at the mess the Bills have given us. It would be hard to not make the playoffs for 17 years even if you were trying not to. So yes, anger at the Bills organization makes sense. Your anger is at the fans. You appear to hate us. I for one understand that this is your own way of coping. But passing this off as objectivity is nonsense. It's easier for you to take out your frustration on fans like Coach T, me and others than it is to face the fact that the Bills are run poorly and have been for many, many years. I think that Bills Fans are some of the most loyal, most intelligent and funniest of sports fans but hey that's just me. -

I know. He does a great job with the draft too. Look at all those starters he selected! And he sure is stingy with those draft picks!!! -

I know, really. Why be critical of such a well oiled machine? -
Greatest Bills moment you've been a part of?

I was at RWS when Flutie ran it in on the last play of the game against Tampa Bay. People in the stands were falling all over themselves and I somehow wound up on the bottom of a huge pile of people. In fact there were a couple of old ladies on top of me as well as who knows how many other fans. I was not the least bit injured. As soon as the game was over the tailgate continued with by best friends and people I met from this board and am still friends with. Good times man. -
Isn't it amazing how much hate and jealousy that the Crimson Tide bring out in some folks. Just a quick word about Kouandjio: This kid never got into any trouble at Bama. He was always a good, solid kid who was thrilled by and very appreciative of being a citizen of this country. As much as I love the Tide, I was never that fond on selecting Kujo that early. Even though he played LT, he was the 4th or 5th best player on that OL, and I am only counting starters. That particular OL was (imo) the best I have ever seen on a college team. Kujo also had a history of injury. What matters now is whether of not he is OK. He is just a kid who seems to have some problems. He isn't Aaron Hernandez. I pray for a full and speedy recovery for him.

"Common sense" would indicate that you can rule it out in this case. Which prisoner is tough enough to hang him involuntarily? The man had a private cell. The COs would have to let at least 5-10 inmates to subdue Hernandez, wouldn't you think? And if you think that the COs did it, again, how many would it take? Would it make any noise? Would it be captured on camera? Also, autopsy reports will indicate if he was stabbed or hit with an object. Nope, he iced himself.

Rotoworld ranks Whaley as worst GM in NFL
Bill from NYC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thank you. The above is correct word for word. And of course the trade-up for Sammy was far from the only time Whaley threw away draft picks. Whaley has wasted so much cap space that the Patriots have been able to step in and strip our team of players and I'm not even referring to Gilmore, who as far as I'm concerned they can have for 40 mil or so guaranteed. Raw, meaning they both suck? -

You are not. I read last night on TSW that he is great. Imo he will never get another job in his present capacity. He seems to lack the self control to compete with the big players. -
I stand corrected. When Sammy came up I seem to recall him being listed as shorter than 6'1'. My bad. As long as Sammy remains on the Bills, I hope he has a better career than Cooper. Remember, I have seen much more of Amari than I have of Sammy. What I am sure of is that Watkins has great moves, better than most receivers I have ever seen. He has the talent. That is beyond question. If he has as much heart as he has talent (and the right attitude), he could be a hall of fame type player. Cooper as you know is a year behind Watkins. He is one excellent football player and seems like a great kid. I liked him in college as much as I did Jones. I am reasonably sure that he will continue to improve and excel. We shall see.
