Go on record regarding the trades
Bill from NYC replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Both trades were awful They traded a possibly great player for a small, ineffective corner and a #2. Then they traded away a decent corner who they will replace with a very high draft choice. They are spinning in circles and its ugly. -
People, PLEASE don't tell me you are surprised. Seriously. For decades the Bills have focused on the secondary more than any other position with first round pick after first round pick as well as free agent signings. Well, this administration went further and traded away their most talented player for a corner. If the Bills had a top 10 quarterback they would probably trade him for a corner. I have been telling you folks this since the day I came on TSW. I hope that this is not a prelude to leaving WNY because the fans won't put up with this. People watch the Bills and spend their money to see a winner, not to watch cornerbacks. The Bills are now the most boring team in the NFL, hands down.

He didn't need (imo) to single out Alabama. I hope that he plays them at some point and gets his ass kicked. -
Shady Wants to Play Until He's 33
Bill from NYC replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would not expect them to draft a first round running back until the offensive line gets worse. Here are the Bills draft priorities: 1) Secondary, mainly corners. 2) Running backs with OL issues. 3) Wide receivers with quarterback issues. -
Bills Contract Extentions FA Signings Jinx
Bill from NYC replied to AtlBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As Bills fans, it is natural to talk about whether or not players are/were "good," or even "busts." After all, what are we supposed to talk about? The thing is, Whaley used 2 1st round picks and a fourth to draft a receiver. He also gave a frequently injured "good" tight end a billion dollars. Both play on a team with quarterback issues. No matter who wins the argument, the Bills are losing and will continue to lose until this issue is solved. McDermott cannot be as bad as Ryan. It isn't possible but grabbing that 1st round corner was more of the same as far as I am concerned. The new administration had better do something soon if they want to keep this franchise in WNY. -
Absolutely and I will go as far as to predict that he will not be a starter by the end of the season.

Manuel was not given the chance to grow
Bill from NYC replied to BuffaloBud420's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good point. Losman was also great and not allowed to grow, right? -
You probably ARE the remaining 5%. And check it out Pooj, I am not saying the women out there are all normal. Far from it but there is so little competition for men that we can afford to sort out the crazies, the ones with crazy exes, the ones with insane kids or the ones with a beat up Pontiac and 50K in credit card debt. If you have women that you are friends with, ask them about who they are meeting on match and all these other sites. If I had the money I would launch a sitcom about the stories I have heard.

John, I hope you read the following, even though you probably will not believe it. Still, I'll give it a shot: Let's put all men in your age group and above in a pie chart. I would do it here if I knew how but check it out....And anyone can feel free to discuss/adjust my estimates. Married - 50% Alcoholic - 10% (I am being kind here) Gay - 5% Drugs - 5% Criminals - 5% (going low once again) Still in love with ex - 5% Completely broke - 10% Pervert - 5% In addition to the above, many cannot perform and some fit into multiple (and other) categories. It is easier at your age to meet a woman than it was when you were in your twenties. My point: There is little competition. Look, I am not suggesting that you go after 25 year old models. Just women around your age. Having 3 daughters the situation doesn't thrill me but it is 100% true. If you are a nice guy, can hold a conversation, and are not hideous the ball is in your court.. You probably do not believe me but it's true. I wish someone else would weigh in on what I am saying.

:) I don't know Badol.....I was at RWS for the game against NE when Van Pelt was the starter. That too was pretty freaking awful! -
Stevie Johnson in Buffalo?
Bill from NYC replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow. Somehow my brain erased that game. It's amazing what we had had to endure as Bills Fans. Seriously. -

Fair question but I cannot picture an NFL team being desperate for Cardale Stewart. Then again I probably have a bit of PTSD from Whaley trading away our draft picks, so I am happy to stockpile even late rounders.
