  1. Mine would resemble yours except that I would place CB at #7 just above MLB.
  2. Yeah, I am pretty surprised to not see more love for LTs. Not only do they prolong the health and career of your most important player, they also improve your running game and dominate the clock when needed. The Bills have fielded left tackles (Greg Jerman, Demetrus Bell, etc.) who placed the QB's lives in jeopardy in the literal sense. They always placed more value in defensive backs. How well did that work out?
  3. Offensive Left Tackle. You are talking about someone better than Orlando Pace.
  4. I have the same one in crimson!
  5. I haven't had much time this year to really scout the draft. That said, I was watching the NFL Channel today and saw Connor Williams in drills. He looks like a huge, mean blocker. This is something that the Bills desperately need, and have needed for some time. Tyrod is no longer here to run away from trouble. The left side is gone and we already sucked at RT. I want this kid on the Buffalo Bills. What do you all think?
  6. I don't need to be instructed by You as to where to post on this board but thanks for the effort.
  7. Really? Have you counted your own posts in this thread ODB? The despair, hatred and jealousy are oozing out of dozens of posts, no? Yeah, I would say there is some interest in greatness. And your point is? Are people who disagree with you automatically wrong? He was also sprawled out on the floor trying to cry after a loss. Oh wait.....that was a different coach!
  8. Don't worry, in a decade or so your inferior team just might come within 30 points of the National Champion University of Alabama Crimson Tide. Try not to let the jealousy and hate build until then; it's like poison, ya know? Saban is and it isn't close.
  9. https://247sports.com/college/alabama/Bolt/Alabama-Crimson-Tide-Football-Recruiting-Alabama-Nick-Saban-lands-4-star-DT-Rashad-Cheney--117039881 Apparently he was committed to Georgia.

  11. Look back now if you will at the Watkins trade. Whaley used the 9th pick, a future 1st rounder and a 4th to move up 5 spots......to draft a receiver. And please, I know Sammy is "good." That is not, nor was it ever my issue. Even if we DID have a qb at the time, that would have been a dumb move and just one of many. I have always had a theory about the draft.....I think that 1 horrible, stupid draft (ex.: Bills 2006) can set a team back for many, many years. And as you said from day 1, quarterback is the way to go. I even have another theory that involves defensive backs, but you may have heard it once or twice.
  12. Can't you just go away? This is a football message board, not a forum to spew your whining political views. Please, take your multiple screen names and get lost. The board was a much better place before you arrived.
  13. I would like to know what you (and others) think that it will cost us to obtain Mayfield?
  14. I don't know what to expect John. They are not rank amateurs ala Whaley, but they do have a tough situation ahead. My guess is that they are eyeing Mayfield. Darnold (obviously the best imho) will be long gone and I think Allen will be next. Hopefully the Jets will grab Rosen. In this scenario, trading up to take Mayfield will cost dearly. I'm personally ok with it, although I do hope that we can hang onto the 1st round pick in 2019. My reasoning for the above is that the Bills could finish with a worse record this season than 2017. Remember, I watched every game McCarron played in college. He is good John but he played behind perhaps the best OL ever in college football. The Bills OL (if it stays healthy) appears to be thin and average at best. AJ isn't able to run out of jams ala Tyrod; hopefully he can be a better passer and negate this.
  15. Good question Doc because like him or hate him, Gronk is far and away the best TE in football history. Don't get me wrong, I'm not sold on bringing him into Buffalo at his age (and in his health), but someone as good as him is worth a top 5 pick, if not #1.
  16. I am really quite surprised that nobody mentioned Ryan Mallett. I once saw him stand flat footed and throw a 50 yard post pattern with NO air under it. It looked like an outfielder throwing a baseball. He was still at the University of Arkansas. You see, I readily admit that back then I thought his abundance of talent would translate into the NFL but he was such a schmuck, he wasted all that skill. Another guy not mentioned was Dan Pastorini. He was not a great qb but he could heave it a mile.
  17. Why are you engaging this troll. He is just a silly little kid with a bunch of screen names.
  18. Brady Quinn said today on Sirius that the Bills will trade down to #9 with the 49ers and it will cost perhaps a 3rd, at most a 2nd. He says we will draft Josh Allen at 9. Don't shoot the messenger.
  19. I get the impression that this is one simpleton with multiple screen names. Nothing to see here.
  20. I think that Reuben was on his way to greatness. In college he couldn't cover as well as Moseley, but he could cover and excelled at every phase of his position. When Reuben replaced Ragland the defense improved considerably, and Ragland was a very good player in that system. Reuben was particularly vicious, to the extreme that Coach Saban called him a "predator." He went all out on every play. Ronnie Harrison is another fierce player. If he came into the league 10 or so years ago I think that he would have ended many careers of wide outs. He will probably slide to round 2 because he seems like a player who will be hard to control. I am anxious to see what he does in the NFFL.
