Sad day. Tim Graham out at Buffalo News
Bill from NYC replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seriously CB? How long did it take; and, are you 100% sure that we have one now? I mean our guy can imitate Coach Saban with his "process," but imo he has a lot to prove. -

I agree. Trust me, it isn't easy to write about a team that sucks for the better part of 20 years. Eventually, you are going to have to say some not nice things and mortally wound people like Promo. -
2019 Mock Drafts and top prospects
Bill from NYC replied to thunderingsquid's topic in College Football
Not to worry if they are healthy. Najee Harris will probably be a much better RB than Damien this year, I kid you not. He is bigger, stronger and even faster. He still has to produce but he is a freak. They also have a kid named Bryan Robinson and he too is a big monster. I once heard Bo Scarborough in an interview saying how good this kid is. -
2019 Mock Drafts and top prospects

It feels good that the only Crimson Tide player on the list was Damien Harris. He is a very good player but there really might be 5 or 6 better players on the Tide offense. I'm not even joking. -
I wish they would hire Badol to report on the Bills and provide an in depth, knowledgeable, accurate, honest, intricate analysis for all things Buffalo Bills because that is exactly what he has done here for decades. Nobody is ever 100% accurate but my experience on TSW (also 2 decades) tells me that if you disagree with Badol about football matters, chances are you are going to be wrong. Nick Saban however might be able to teach him a thing or 2.

Coach Saban does value punters. Our last one was a star. I'm pretty sure they have an incoming freshman or current player and am not sure what happened in this instance. It has however been a while since they had a good place kicker.

Do you think that decisions like the above should be left to SDS and the mods, or do you really think that you have the authority on this board to tell valued posters what they should say and/or how to post? My guess (strictly a guess) is that a lot more posters care about what John has to say as opposed to caring about your posts, or mine for that matter.

How much truth have you told over the years while praising every inept move by Bills management and blaming dedicated Bills Fans for the misfortune of the team? I don't question the fact that you are a Bills fan. That said, I personally could not support a team if I held their fans in such utter disdain. Who do you despise more, Bills Fans or any sportswriter who doesn't fawn all over every dumb move the Bills have made in the last 20 years?

I would also put Lewis behind Willie Lanier. Truthfully I think that Lanier was at least as good as Butkus, but that is jmo. Btw, I am glad that Robert Brazile was on the list. Not too many people talk about him but he was a superb lb. I think that he too belongs in or near the top 10. Mike Curtis was great. Yes, he absolutely belongs on that list. Agreed and imo it wasn't even a little bit close. Taylor was in a class by himself.

Well, we now have a coach who is a Saban impersonator. It might work, ya know? It can't get any worse than it was with Rex.

Ya think?

Clinton Political Dynasty
Bill from NYC replied to TakeYouToTasker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Brainwashed, mentally limited people will not ever accept the possibility of corruption, sexual abuse, collusion, and perhaps even murder by the Clintons/Obama. One particular moronic individual who posts here, in between tears, actually accuses supporters of President Donald J. Trump of being agents of Putin. Then again, we ARE talking about a seemingly unparalleled schmuck. -

Another good story was the one where the doctor who exposed corruption in Haiti by the Clinton Foundation committed suicide by stabbing himself in the heart. The thing is Tom, this never happens. You can interview 100 cops with 20 years or more on the job and I seriously doubt that you will find any who saw this kind of suicide. Even at that, one would think that a doctor could think up some less painful method, no? -
National Anthem Solution
Bill from NYC replied to machine gun kelly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't dispute the possibility of the above. I do however think that if it DOES happen, the owners are going to lose tens of millions of dollars. -
I know that most of you will think the following comment(s) are because I am obviously and admittedly biased toward the Crimson Tide, but if Reuben Foster can keep his head on straight and stay healthy, the kid has a chance to be the best inside linebacker in the NFL imho. He is fast, strong, smart, and the kid is a flat out predator.

I like the look of this roster/Defense
Bill from NYC replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Badol, I totally agree, especially wrt Jauron ball, but I do have a question: As for the bolded, would the 2009 SB be an exception? I remember thinking that despite their records, neither the Saints nor especially the Colts (except for Manning) were all that good. Not splitting hairs Bro. -
Incognito's Retirement? [update: Now Released]
Bill from NYC replied to Spiderweb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is it just me or does this remind anyone of Marv Levy making a "promise" to Nate Clements that he would not use the franchise tag on him? Why in the world would a team do something this seemingly stupid? Could someone explain the gain to me? The Bills gave him a second chance when oh so many turned their backs on him. I think the proper response to Incognito would have been "screw you!" -
The Biggest Whiffs In Buffalo Bills History
Bill from NYC replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, I agree. For some reason, TD seemed to hate McKinney. I get it. The kid had a bad attitude; but, he really was an excellent LT. PS: I am not as a rule against drafting blockers other than LTs early. Before the draft, R.Rich told me that Branden Albert would be an all-pro, if not hall of fame player if he stayed at guard. He went on to be another excellent LT. We drafted McKelvin that year. -

The Biggest Whiffs In Buffalo Bills History

Even though that particular draft was one of the worst ever, drafting Spiller that early was unthinkably stupid. He was a small, fumbling, bumbling scat back who wasn't even what some would consider a full time back in college, NOT a top 10 draft pick. I would think that even in a weak draft there are offers to trade down. They should have done so before making such an incredible waste of a pick with Spiller. Even if they stood pat and took Bulaga it would have made more sense than a miniature scat back at #9.
