  1. Why not BB? An injury would now appear to leave them pretty weak at the QB position. Thinking out loud.....I guess that is the way things usually are but they sure were in a good place having those 2.
  2. I do know that and I was high on Watson. And I don't care that McDermott just took over. He didn't even get much for trading down and getting White was certainly not guaranteed. Like Jauron, he chose a defensive back over much more important players. I am thrilled by Allen. Now we need to focus on getting him great tools and protection.
  3. Sure, he is good. Is he better than Mahomes and/or Deshaun Watson?
  4. I hope that you soon get over your case of The Stockholm Syndrome.
  5. You guys really are funny!!! That said, look at the Bills roster. We might finally have a top quality QB (I fully supported this selection from day 1 btw). He has a sloppy ass OL, piss poor receivers, and a rapidly aging running back. The very last thing that the Bills should do is waste yet another 1st round pick on a defensive back. We all know what would happen.....the team will lose but the db will be "good." How many times must we travel the same losing road? The Bills need blockers, receivers and even some young defensive linemen. The secondary should be just that. Is this more like it John?
  6. This was a true dagger to the heart for this football team. I still think that the 2006 draft set this team back at least 5 years and I said this immediately after this disaster.
  7. They would more than likely win it outright later in the year if it could get us a worse draft position.
  8. Probably not. Levy/Jauron was the worst combo I could ever imagine both on the field and in the front office.
  9. Call it what you will my old friend. My contention remains that it won’t stop.
  10. I said the last time he was in the news (it didn’t go over well) and I’ll say it again.....the man will continue to get in trouble again and again. It’s not going to stop. Now, on to the next allegation and/or incident. It won’t be long.
  11. They start every season playing against a non-conference team, this is true. Usually, the team is ranked. Mississippi was a conference game and Texas A&M is also a conference game. They start off hot because they are generally great. Looking at what I am seeing in the Big 10 (7 losses last week), Alabama's schedule is as difficult at most other top teams. Foster barely played at Alabama.
  12. I would hate to see the college kids put their big payday to risk. They are already doing so week to week without playing pros.
  13. Probably not. This is why I think the Bills would defeat them.
  14. This is because the entire team is not draft eligible. A vast majority of Alabama starters are, or will be NFL quality. Alabama currently has 4 wide receivers who (if they stay healthy of course) will probably be clearly superior to any receiver on the Bills and NONE are draft eligible. They consist of 3 sophs and a true freshman. But again, the Bills would defeat them and I guarantee Coach Saban would agree.
  15. I agree that the Bills would defeat the Crimson Tide but your numbers are WAY off. This season, no less than 16 players from the Alabama 2017 team made an opening day NFL roster. Another 4 are on practice squads. Alabama probably has better players at every single offensive position with the exception of Shady, but as others said; they are young and would lose to a professional team. Ditto.
  16. Wow!!! Let's agree to disagree.
  17. Oh yeah. It has been the major concern of our team for 20 years or so.
  18. Don't we have enough problems?
  19. Not that I am a fan of Castillo by any stretch but that wouldn't work. Remember when we brought in McNally? He was going to make our OL good with a "new scheme." Well, he looked like he wanted to cry on the sidelines. There was zero improvement because there was a lack of talent, plain and simple. It is extremely hard to get good blockers outside of the draft. Teams keep these guys. The only team that I know of with a history of dumping their best blockers is the Buffalo Bills. If this happens the team will continue to suck. Coach Saban was quoted this week as saying that Daboll basically brought the NE passing game to Alabama. I agree that Daboll is not the problem. We have little to no offensive talent aside for an aging McCoy. That's basically it.
  20. The thing is, as a Bills fan I have seen what bad bench numbers can bring. Remember Demetrious Bell (sic)? People used to tell me how fast he was and how he had good feet and it was true, however; he had 9 reps on the bench at the combines and was also tiny by LT standards. Blitzing safeties would take him out on some plays. When you think about it, we have seen almost every specific type of inept blocker on our team.
  21. BB.....you might want to watch Ross Pierschbacher too. He played Guard last year and now Saban has him at Center. He can really play and centers tend to not go so early. If it were up to me, the Bills would have a slew of early draft picks for the next 2 seasons. It really looks like we will pick in the top 5 and I'm being kind. They could turn that into a plethora of blockers and pass rushers. Will they? You tell me.
  22. I understand your concern but the bolded above is just completely wrong. Alabama is better than them at every single offensive position and I suggest that other teams are as well.
