Interesting. I never even considered the possibility that Bama has a bigger fan base than Notre Dame. Not ever. I see at least 10 Notre Dame shirts, hats, or jackets to every 1 that says Alabama. I would think that this would be the case in 48 other states, even down south whereas each SEC school has its own fan base.

Then why do people claim that Alabama gets special treatment? Don't you think that OSU, Michigan, Penn State, Texas, Notre Dame, and other teams have more of a following than Alabama? I believe that the networks would rather see any of the above teams in the playoffs along with some other teams than to have the nationally hated Alabama in there.....again. What say you?

I sure am proud of the ex Crimson Tide players for the way they played yesterday. Eddie Jackson was a freaking STEAL by the Bears; he just keeps scoring defensive TDs. Is there a safety in the league playing better than him? Oh and btw.....he was a (ahem) 4th round pick. True, he was coming off an injury but he is, and always has been excellent. It could be said that he sealed a national championship with his kickoff return against Clemson. Saban loved this kid and constantly raved about him, not a very common thing for Nick. Amari Cooper looks just as good as many of us claimed him to be. The man constantly gets open and he has been doing just that since college. Payne and Allen had a lot of tackles and assists for the Skins. Both also had a sack in the game. I wish we had some of these guys on the Bills.

Don't you mean a cornerback? After all, Marv Levy said that you can't have too many corners. If I owned the team and they picked a corner in round 1, I would rush up to the podium and fire the GM and the coach on national TV.

They should certainly draft a QB next season, even if Allen is great. Remember what we paid for Rob Johnson who was a 4th round pick? If we draft a qb and he turns out to be good he will either play, or be worth his weight in gold in terms of future draft value.

Why is your venom aimed only at Alabama? Seriously, why not Clemson? They played 1 game against a quality team. If you want to call Syracuse a good team, cool; lets make it 2. They won these 2 games by a combined 6 points. Who is it you want Alabama to play? If the answer is UCF, I would like that too! It would make a fine season opener. That said, their schedule isn't as easy as you make it sound. Some of those teams look a lot worse because they are facing the Crimson Tide.

I'm not ready to agree or disagree.....yet. I do however think that a 1 loss Georgia or a 1 loss Alabama would be more deserving whereas they, IMO (I'm not talking smack or wanting to offend anyone) are clearly superior to any team in the Big 10, especially in terms of being a complete football team. I mean, how many 50 point games do those teams allow? Once again, this is JMO. It's an opinion, not an all knowing proclamation.

We get it; you don't like the rule. That said, the rule exists. Do you live your life judging every rule and/or law, and then deciding whether or not you will break it? That is up to you. I don't like the NYS Tax system but if I cheat or break the rules, I would certainly suffer consequences. So, the future multi-millionaire couldn't wear a jacket? No, from my perch I have no idea what his injury status is, and I would like to know where I indicated as such. I think that I was totally clear. I cited the fact that he was running, jumping, and catching passes. Does this mean that he isn't injured? No. Was this (imo) ill advised? Yes, absolutely. Again, there are rules. Judging from your few political posts I suspect that you might be more sympathetic to anarchy than I happen to be. Maybe if the kid was not putting on a pass catching clinic while out there injured, the coach who you seem to just hate might have overlooked the rule.

Maybe the player isn't so bright either to run, jump, and catch passes before his teammates go out and put themselves at risk. Whether or not you happen to like it, the team has rules that this kid placed himself above. If I had millions waiting for me would I want to play? I can't speculate in all honesty having never been faced with circumstances like these. That doesn't mean that this kid is not a pampered, spoiled twit.

Well, it sure does help much of the time, or so I think. The qb has to get rid of the ball and good play calling helps as well. Still, I agree with the above as written. The same would certainly also apply to cornerbacks running backs, and every other position (except QB), no?

That's right, because odds sadly tell us that the Bills would have squandered the better draft picks be it by trade, or ill advised picks that lead to losses. I know that we say it every year but in the 2019, the Bills stand a great chance to do things right. They absolutely must give Allen weapons and protection and the opportunity is there if they are smart.
