Is this true? If so count me in as a Birmingham Fan. Never mind. They will be my team even if it isn't true.

How Does a Bills Loss Affect Your Life?
Bill from NYC replied to Billsfanatic8989's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The losses don't phase me like they used to. This is very much due to necessity, whereas I was way too emotionally invested. Like others have said, at this point I am pleasantly surprised when they win. Even when I was taking it more seriously, I was way worse on draft day than after losses. Friends from this board have actually called me at home to hear the entertainment of me flipping out after they drafted McKelvin and a few others. 2006 was my worst episode. My daughters have even called for a good laugh. In fact, it still hurts quite a bit to watch when the Bills make the same idiotic mistakes year after freaking year, no matter who is in charge. I was SO happy when they drafted Allen. I hope we don't go right back to the same ridiculous moves but I am trying to prepare for it. -
Trump The Divider

You do realize that the above is a generalization and a slur about millions of people, no? I am not a Catholic but in addition to finding this offensive, I think that it truly is quite cowardly, unless you follow it up with your views on other groups. Do you like Jews? What is your take on gays? How about blacks? Illegal aliens? It is really easy to take swipes at Christians these days, especially Catholics. If I may ask, do you live in a heavily Catholic neighborhood? If so, why? -
I am 100% sure that this is true. It is dangerous for women out there on these sites. Seriously.

Women would do better with this question. If I ever hit Power Ball, I am going to invest money into a show about computer dating. The stories women have told me are really insane. Some are funny, others are VERY creepy.

Imo, this post is beyond any reasonable dispute. -
I am surprised that no one mentioned the Super Bowl pools/boxes. Some of them can be pretty huge and non-fans buy them all the time, including women. I have no idea what the percentages are and there would seem to be no way to tell, but it wouldn't surprise me is at least 20% of the audience watches to see if they win on a box. As a Bills Fan this would be my main concern. Btw the best numbers (by far) are 0-0.

Me too! Who needs a quarterback when you can grab a top 10 defensive back? -
I did but he seems to have too many other issues surrounding him. Did you see the way he acted on Hard Knocks? I couldn't stand to be around that guy for 15 minutes.

I'm not sure but I heard that a player named Tua is also pretty good.

Well, his description of Jonah Williams does echo mine. As well has he has played in his entire career at Alabama, I am not sure if he is big enough to play LT in the NFL. He very well might be and again, he is good at every facet of OL play. I want to see his combine numbers, especially with the 225. I will speculate that if he is placed at LG, he will be an immediate impact player, perhaps a star. Jmo.

Is DT Gerald McCoy done in Tampa?
Bill from NYC replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I fully agree but I will add that now it is time to protect him. The Bills prior GMs also did not devote ample resources to blocking. -
He gets open, and imo his hands are not bad. His brother Calvin was one of the hardest workers Alabama had according to Coach Saban. Maybe Riley is too, I don't know. Lets wait and see how he does in the combines.

Barnwell has Bills at 6 wins in 2019
Bill from NYC replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In this case it actually might be. I am thinking that it would be hard indeed for a street free agent to be worse than Benjamin. -

You make several valid points in this post. Imo, the Bills will not be able to get to the playoffs without a drastic improvement in the offensive line. If Josh has to keep running at the rate he did last season, he is eventually going to get seriously injured. He needs more protection and even a better running game to perform to the level of his capabilities, which I think are huge. Call me crazy but imo once the OL is fixed, and I do mean fixed (not slightly improved), other units will get better right along with them. -

That would be wonderful but you do make it sound just a bit too simple. -

At the rate things are going the PAC 10 will be decimated. I just don't think they can compete the way they used to for various reasons. -
The suggestion of 2nd or 3rd round pick was more of a compliment than an insult in this passing league. Like any other back, Josh would stand out on a team with a good qb and a solid OL. Some of those holes he ran through at Alabama were pretty big. Still, he is a true all purpose back and plays a very smart game. He can do everything including block. Btw, I'm not 100% sure that the 216 lbs. they list him at is accurate. That seems high to me but he is a fighter and plays hard on every down. I really like Josh but not at #9.

If you saw my post in this thread I am totally against using a #9 on Jacobs, and I am a HUGE Crimson Tide Fan and really like the kid. I see your point wrt the Spiller comparison, I really do, but; I would take Jacobs over Spiller ANY day!!! Even for the Bills, the Spiller pick was so stupid that it was mind boggling. As for Jacobs, imo he is a 2nd or 3rd round pick. He is a much better and stronger player than Spiller ever was.
