CJ Mosley is an excellent LB. He really is but at what price? I want the Bills to go after DJ Fluker (listed at #75, from Seattle). He has been hurt since coming out of college, now he is brutalizing people at RG. They can plug him right in at RG and he will kick ass.

Interesting analogy. I always thought that Schuab was very good until he started getting banged up. He did however hit the floor VERY hard when he started losing it.

The receivers might be worse. The players on the team that lost to Birmingham were dropping almost every pass. I don't know but he looked like he was in horrible pain.

I didn't see much of him last season but I thought he was very good in Oakland. At one point he was performing as well as Amari Cooper, or so it seemed. If the contract isn't too excessive, what is there to possibly lose? We have tons of cap room. I would be quite happy to see the Bills sign him.

It really has and frankly, I don't see the need for the argument. I never sensed that JAHBH was telling anyone how to behave. Did I miss something? Travis Henry supposedly had at least 9 kids with as many women. I mention this because I think that it is unusual behavior. I don't hate him for doing so but imo, this is a rare enough situation to deem as odd or at least not very common, thus the comment. Does this type of behavior carry itself onto a football field and effect other players? My guess is probably not but I am not an NFL Coach and can't say for sure. If Karlos could perform like he did for us when he was on top of his game I would welcome him back. My guess is that he probably is too far gone but if the coaches think that he still has it I hope they grab him. I'm old school and his style is exactly what I like in a running back.

I agree with this, however if they think there IS a top quality LT, I think that they should pounce on the opportunity, which would protect the quarterback AND improve the running game.

In a perfect world so would I but it is next to impossible to get a great or very good LT in any way other than the draft Scott. Jmo, but I think that the Bills need to devote major resources to the OL, including early draft picks.

Actually, when Pro Football Weekly featured Joel Buchsbaum, he offered a better, more accurate view of the draft than the "experts" of today, or so I think. I would still be buying that paper if Buchsbaum was around. The draft was always an exciting part of the NFL to this old timer.

The fact that some draft "experts" thought he was a good selection does not mean that he in fact was. From the minute he was selected I was on this board saying that Spiller was a stupid, awful selection. Does this make me an "expert?" Far from it, and the people the Bills employ are professionals. Somebody should have known (besides me and a slew of other posters on this board) that picking Spiller was a completely dumb move with no upside. We had talent at the RB position and he was a small, part time player. This was also a team lacking at important positions. Lets hope that this clown show management is a thing of the past.

Wow, I gotta disagree with this. Spiller was a part time player in college and was worthy of perhaps a 3rd round pick, if that. Only a team that was stacked with loads of talent could even begin to justify using a 3rd round pick on a part time scat back. I will always believe that Ralph Wilson ordered that pick. He thought Spiller would be an exciting player and put "fannies in the seats."

I always thought that NE RB Robert Edwards was on his way to greatness before he suffered a nearly crippling injury playing volleyball. He kicked ass in his rookie season and sat out for years. He wound up in the CFL. He is another player who I thought had HOF potential if he stayed healthy.

True, but he was an excellent player. I was lucky enough to see him play at RWS. He had very long arms and used them perfectly as leverage. Bryce was also a nasty player. I'm not so sure of how some of his hits would go over in todays NFL. In one game many, many years ago I saw the Bills sack Harbaugh 6 times. Bryce and Hansen were hitting him so hard I was afraid they were going to kill him and he kept getting up. Say what you want wrt Harbaugh but he is one of the toughest guys I ever saw in any sport. Others on this board were at that game.
