You would be arrested if you took money for doing so because it would be considered taking a reward for performing your duties as a public servant.

Who goes up on the Buffalo Bills “Wall of Shame”
Bill from NYC replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am going to nominate the combo of Marv Levy/Dick Jauron. They ruined this team starting with the 2006 draft and it set us back for many, many years. -
If you were a NYC Cop you would be arrested and fired for Receiving Illegal Gratituities (NYS Penal Law 200.30). Gratuities = Good act Bribery = Bad act.

C'mon Bro, cut her a break if she is into the Bills and the Tide. How many times do you think you will score like that?

Bandit, most of these early mocks don't even mention Devonta Smith. I have seen every catch he has ever made and I am telling you that the kid is great. I am completely impressed that you included him in the above. Jaylen Waddle is an incoming sophomore. He might wind up being as good as Jeudy. They actually have a 5th wideout if you can believe it. His name is John Metchie and he is an incoming freshman. Saban gets pissed off when reporters ask about him because he is "unproven." My point is that barring injury, every Tide receiver will come into the NFL with fresh legs. They will all share the load and produce. Again, nice post!

Serious question.....are you going to provide us with some pertinent comments or are you here to critique a poster who has been here for decades, and may have forgotten more than you will ever know about football. I suggest that you read his posts, evaluate them, and perhaps learn something, or at the very least, consider a point of view that doesn't necessarily coincide with yours. If you want to read nothing but rah-rah type posts, you might consider signing onto some of these "grade school" sites about which you speak instead of coming here with the sole intent of insulting our members.

Who is Your Favorite New Player to This Point ?
Bill from NYC replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cody Ford, by far. It has been way too long since the Bills had solid players on the right side of the OL. We desperately needed a strong, talented, nasty blocker and we will win more games if this kid is the real deal. -
Gunner's Roster Thread 2019

Would the 500K signing bonus make it tough to release Yeldon or is that too little to care about. -
Who Should Be Next On The Wall Of Fame?
Bill from NYC replied to BillyWhiteShows's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes because Jauron had him lining up so wide he was close to the sideline on some plays. He would also put him in coverage when he was virtually the only good pass rusher on the team. These were horrible days for the Bills. He produced quite a bit for us, can you imagine him with good players around him? Hansen had Bruce playing the other side. Schobel had Kelsay. -

You left out that he hit as hard as a truck. Where did I say that I want him to come down? It is just my opinion that Schobel was a better defensive end. Phil was an excellent player who I appreciated watching. -
Who Should Be Next On The Wall Of Fame?
Bill from NYC replied to BillyWhiteShows's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely! There were times when he was the only good pass rusher on the team. He was always doubled and still made plays with his blazing speed. I can only imagine what his stats would look like on a better team with better coaching. I fully agree. Hansen was very good but he played alongside of great pass rushers such as Bruce Smith and Bryce Paup. -

I can never be resigned to the thought of trading away a Hall of Fame left tackle. Imo Jason Peters was one of the best players in Bills history and I certainly do agree that sure was a great move by the Bills to grab him from the Giants practice squad. -
Entertainers That Died Young

I don't like them at this point. Imo Maher isn't like listening to the Dead. I think that Furthur was great with John Kadlecik. He still plays with Fellowship of the Wing with Jeff Chementi. My only complaint with Furthur was that they were letting Lesh sing (he even was singing "Eyes of the World") and he was awful. The man couldn't sing live 40 years ago. -

As for the bolded, how could we expect fans NOT to get mad? EJ was just lousy but a case could be made that Whitner was "good." Gilmore is considered "very good" (although I don't think he was that great in Buffalo). The thing is, how many games did these 3 combined win us. How often did any of them just take over a game and lead us to victory. Hating a player as an individual is much different than hating the second rate, losing draft strategy we had for many years. Maybe in 2019, Oliver and Ford will be productive and dominate their opponents so we can win football games. 2 and 3 are right on the money. -
The NYC PBA, DEA, and all of the other unions do NOT solicit. They never have and the PBA in particular has millions of dollars in the treasury. When generous citizens call and ask to donate money, the Widows and Orphans Fund will accept it but that is it. These "charities" who call and solicit are scamming you. PS: Decades ago, Yoko Ono, during a fiscal crisis, donated money to NYC (not the police unions) to purchase bulletproof vests for police officers.

Sure but it signals to me that it is harder to get guards than many think. I mean the man is very ill and they are taking a chance on him, however small. Bill Parcells once said that it was harder to find a good guard than a wide receiver in the draft. I do not know this to be true but I heard him say it.

The 89 tour was just so freaking good. Jerry looked sober, especially in the summer shows in the east. Brent was also fantastic.
