Sadly, this is tough to argue with.

I couldn't agree more but remember.....we were young.

It took me longer than it should have to let go of Rob Johnson. I was flat out mesmerized by his skillset. He was big, could run like a deer, had a great arm, and was very accurate. The only thing that he didn't do well was play football.

Nice! I was bracing for an attack.

But we are not 100% sure of this, ya know; especially if his old ass is sitting on the bench injured.

Thank you for a brave post. I vehemently disagree with 4,5, and especially 7 but I got your back every day on #1.

When will the Bills just get rid of Shady? How long must they hold on? If he has any trade value they should move along from a replaceable, 9 million dollar, old, perhaps brittle running back before he falls apart and is worthless.

It almost sounds like the era around 1997. The Bills had a GREAT defense! I mean absolutely stacked with fantastic, talented, smart players. The offense consisted of no blocking, no quarterback, a young Moulds and rapidly aging Thurman and Andre. It was SO bad that even their great defense would get gassed and we would of course lose. Could this be the year to break the mold? I really think so but it really hinges 100% on Josh imo. I wish he had better receivers but lets see what happens.

CFB Week Zero is here! Florida at The U 8/24

I never though he was a good QB. -
If the house was open the police would go in. If the house is secure from the outside, you don't stick around. Coke in plain view? I hope the police had a body cam. If not there would seem to be plenty of room for reasonable doubt.

As someone who has a bit of a background on domestic issues, I must say that imo, logic doesn't support the sentence above. What Mario did was wrong. I am glad that he was arrested. He deserved it for illegally entering her home, and it seems as if he also violated an order of protection. He did not physically harm her, which he obviously could have. And yes, he has a checkered past wrt domestics. He needs help and it seems that he needed it long ago. I never met the man, but my gut instinct tells me that he is more of a disturbed individual than a scumbag. I can easily be wrong, but call it an educated guess. This is a 100% fair question. My answer is, of course not. Tell me if you will..... are you a fan of Shady or have you turned your back on him?

In this instance I must respectfully disagree. When the city of Houston was in a bad financial situation, Mario Williams spent tens of thousands of dollars and donated actual police cars to help his community. His close friends were correction officers and cops. I'm sure that a few individuals will hate Mario for these things. I however think that this makes Mario a better person than someone who beats cops up in bars, or one who badmouths ALL police officers. Can anyone view this video and not think that the man is genuinely ill? My thing is "there but for the grace of God." This could have been/could be any of us. The man needs help and I pray that he gets it.

Would you trade a 1 for Zeke?
Bill from NYC replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No way. There are too many great receivers coming out in the 2020 draft. Trading a #1 should be 100% off the table imo. We have to give Allen more and better tools at WR. -
AP Preason Top 25 - Clemson #1 for first time ever
Bill from NYC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in College Football
I am all but sure Jeudy will be gone when we pick. Ruggs would be a great fit because he can fly and Allen has the arm to make circus throws and reach him. Imo Jaylen Waddle will be a superstar but he is just a sophomore. I happen to really like Davonta Smith. He is a bit taller and as I said, he seems perfectly coordinated. I believe Smith will be there if the Bills want him because make no mistake; there are very good wideouts on other teams. Clemson and Oklahoma each have one and there are others. This is the best draft I can remember for receivers, and it seems all but certain that the Bills will draft one. It makes complete sense. I just hope that they all stay healthy. -
AP Preason Top 25 - Clemson #1 for first time ever
Bill from NYC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in College Football
Maybe I am partial but I think that it is the best group of receivers ever on one college team. As I said, if a college age Foster was on this team he would be our 5th or even 6th receiver. Ruggs and Waddle might be the fastest kids in the NCAA. Some place Jeudy in the top 5 in round 1 in 2020. I saw a mock that had him going at #2. Devonta Smith is a perfectly coordinated wr with great moves and hands. He makes catches while fully horizontal look easy. Metchie, a true freshman, led the squad in receiving yards in the A game. Of course, they need to stay healthy. If you have time, check them out on 8/31 and let me know what you think. -
AP Preason Top 25 - Clemson #1 for first time ever
Bill from NYC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in College Football
I am thrilled that Clemson was ranked #1, and I imagine Coach Saban is as well. Clemson is still stacked and their QB is great but they did lose their incredibly talented front 4. I think that in the end the #1 team will be the team that stays healthy at key positions. This would give an advantage to Clemson because of their weak schedule. -
It is a civil matter but if the man actually gave the ring to the woman (her ring size, etc.), I would bet on either a settlement or the woman winning in court. And btw I am not talking about what I or anyone else would deem to be morally correct. It's just hard to picture the man coming out ahead in a majority of cases like this.
