Does anybody give Notre Dame any chance at all against Georgia?
-
Nowhere did I say that it was necessarily the correct move. That said, someone posted a list of their upcoming draft picks and it was pretty amazing. This horrible team will probably pick 1st in 2020 and have even more 1st round picks. Their situation is also very good in 2021. It would be almost impossible not to find a considerable amount of talent. Look I saw the Bills turn 5 early picks into 4 not so wonderful players in 2006. Still, this is a rarity and the Phins will have WAY more than Levy/Jauron managed to squander. Here's to hoping that the Dolphins screw the whole thing up!

Good post. Imo it is extremely hard for rich kids like Rosen to compete in the NFL. Manziel was a great example although he had other issues. Look at the Luck situation. I don't think it is about race either, just money. Who on earth would want to take the beatings that these men take if you already have a few million in your pocket? I expect to see more and more early surprise retirements. The game is just that brutal.

The truth is that if Miami's front office has anybody in it with football brains, they will have every opportunity to be great in 2 or 3 years. I know that this is a HUGE IF indeed, but that team is loaded with great draft picks for at least 2 years. The good news is that we should be kicking their ass for at least 2 years. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I strongly agree. I have lots of friends who refuse to even watch the NFL on TV.

You are right and it also happens in college. I think that it was 103 degrees on the field at Alabama for their second game this year. They had quite a few empty seats, and I know that I would have walked right the #^*k out even if I paid top dollar for tickets. Years ago I was at a Bills game when it was in the high 80's. It was awful. Baking in the sun isn't for everyone, ya know?

If you ever feel sorrow, when you're down in San Antone, Beg steal or borrow, two nickels or a dime, and call me on the phone. And I'll meet you at Alamo Mission, where we can say our prayers, The Holy Ghost and the Virgin Mother will heal us, as we kneel there. I the moonlight, in the midnight, in the moonlight midnight, moonlight.

Predict the 4 teams in the playoff for college 2019-2020

Bama played the Citadel once and their blockers were going for the Bama defenders' knees. Saban has said over and over again that he wants to play 10 conference games and the other 2 against power 5 teams, but many people disagree. He says that he has a very hard time finding teams that are willing to play Alabama. I believe him. -
Cody Ford was bad - again & again he was while at RT

I totally agree but imo it is never a bad idea to bolster the OL, especially when you have a young, talented qb to protect. That said, I want a wide receiver or even 2 in 2020. -

It depends on what you mean by "very early" Bob. I would have whole heartedly agreed with you in many seasons but not in 2020. There are just so many WRs who look like dominant players coming out that I can't really visualize going in any other direction in round 1. -
I know how you feel because the same thing occurred to me last week against the Jets. I felt that we always had a chance this week and last. To be honest it was a confusing (but pleasant) state of mind. This is a team with a long way to go imo but their easy schedule, the unlimited potential of Allen, and several other factors point to the real possibility of success in the playoffs.

Jmo but nothing to see here. The oldest current Bill is Gore, right? He is 36 with pockets full of money. How many of us believe that he would spend it on a 49 year old heroin using grand mother? Now, do ya think that young players like Josh Allen are going for it LOL? I hope that the prosecutor is successful in putting a pimp in jail, but my guess is that any Bills involvement (if it happened) was decades ago.

Not so sure of the above. Toss Davonta Smith into the mix imo. -
Was the O Line Good, Bad, Or Indifferent in Game 1?

Yeah, unless Gore gets much better I would rather see Yeldon in there. TJ can also catch the football pretty well. -

Care to explain? -
It was only 1 game but imo, Morse looked better at center than anybody I have seen play for the Bills in many, many years.

Edmunds, Oliver & Morse are a great foundation
