  1. Sark is a very skilled, smart and confident coach. He is perfect for Saban, who as we know doesn't hesitate to override decisions by assistants when he deems fit to do so. I agree with all that you say about Golding. I just feel like he will only improve as he continues to learn Saban's complicated system. The biggest issue they now face (imo of course) is at NT. The last 4 or 5 players we had at that position were great. I cannot stress enough the importance of this position in this defense. Now, Baremore looks like a budding superstar and could probably do it, but it sure is nice having him rush from more on the outside. I am 100% certain that Saban will go all out on the DL next season. He has to.
  2. Call me crazy but I predict an upset. Georgia is tough enough to beat people up on defense. Alabama just wasn't this year, too many losses due to injury. Kirby knows what to do against LSU, no?
  3. I play the street life, because there's no place I can go. Street life, it's the only life I know. Street life, and there's a thousand parts to play, Street life, until you play your life away.
  4. I am very sorry to hear this and may God provide solace to you and your family during these times of sorrow.
  5. Who is your favorite college team?
  6. Perhaps but maybe less than last season. The DC is a young coach who sounds very bright. As I said, he didn't have a good enough NT and lost both ILBs, and one was a certain 1st round pick. The freshmen who filled in are very talented but were ill equipped in terms of experience. DE Antonio Alfano was said by many to be the top prospect in the nation last year. He had some emotional (and/or other) problems and never reported. Huge loss. Sarkasian is (imo) a fine OC. I hope that he stays.
  7. Left my home in Norfolk Virginia, California on my mind. Straddled that Greyhound and rolled into Raleigh and on across Carolina. Stopped in Charlotte and bypassed Rock Hill and we never was a minute late. We was ninety miles out of Atlanta by sundown, Rollin' cross Georgia state.
  8. They need to seriously fortify the DL, especially the nose. A returning DL named Baremore looks like he will be great. The OL should be fine. Waddle will be back at wr and watch out for a returning soph. named Metchie, also a wr. Trey Sanders will be back at RB. They have an early commit from a QB from California who looks great. The schedule will be brutal but I am optimistic.
  9. . When the last rose of summer pricks my finger, And the hot sun chills me to the bone. When I can't hear the song for the singer, And I can't tell my pillow from a stone, I will walk alone, by the black muddy river, And sing me a song of my own. I will walk alone, by the black muddy river, And sing me a song of my own.
  10. You really are wrong about this. Bama had too many bad breaks and injuries to compete at their best level this season. I am not angry at all about this game. Remember, I am a Bills Fan for decades. I have known football misery lol. The Tide will be fine Bro. PS: I hope that our top players sit out the Bowl game.
  11. Yes but we have a quarterback and this class is SOOO deep at WR, several of them could possibly be the BPA, even when we draft. Then we can take into account the fact that a need exists at that position. Btw, I can never remember a time when I pushed for a 1st round receiver. Now, the Bills are playing the type of ball that I always longed for. Their lines came out on Thanksgiving and kicked ass. The highly regarded Dallas OL got their collective asses kicked in their house. As for our OL, they simply out muscled the Cowboys. Others seemed to have mixed feelings but I even thought that Ford had a few key blocks. Again, this has long been what I want from the Bills. This and of course a quarterback, which we have. Now, I hope we get him more tools. There are receivers out there that look VERY good and again, we need one. We also need a power running back to compliment Singletary. We are close ST.....I can feel it!!!!!!
  12. This is a valid question.
  13. Sweet blossom come on under the willow, We can have high times if you'll abide. We can discover the wonders of nature, Rolling in the rushes, down by the riverside.
  14. Good response to a troll who has nothing at all to offer. He sits at home pining away for Sandusky.
  15. But you see, if 8, why not 16? I don't think that the playoffs should be expanded to 8 unless the conference games are eliminated. These are college kids risking serious injuries and the chance to earn millions. At some point, there are too many games. Jmo.
  16. Chance? You probably own the place and just don't see it. There are more normal women than normal men.
  17. This is 100% true. It's easily the deepest WR class I have ever seen.
  18. All I know is something like a bird, within her sang. All I know she sang a little while, and then flew off. If you hear that song again, will you know why? Anyone who sings a song so sweet, is passing by. Laugh in the sunshine, sing. Cry in the dark, Fly through the night. *Thank you Robert Hunter. RIP.
  19. Absolutely!!! Btw the cat is now out of the bag wrt wide receiver Davonta Smith. The guy is a complete wideout but it looks as if he will be gone by the time we select. Imo we will have a better shot of getting Ruggs who because of his insane speed, might even be a better fit for Josh. Picture Foster a full step faster with better moves and hands. Even given the above, I would rather have Smith on the Bills. He catches everything near him and is tall.
  20. So true BB. Next season he will be the best WR in the country.
  21. I had not seen this thread and I find it to be amazing. Every woman I have ever talked to about computer dating tells me what a horror show it is for them, and I have been hearing story after story for many years. Having said that, all of them are over 40 years old, and some are older than 50. My male friends tell me that it is just so simple for men on these various dating sites. Think about it.....50% of the men out there are married. Probably 5% are gay, perhaps more. 15% are alcoholics. 10% drug abusers? Does that sound OK? At least 5% are various kinds of perverts. 5% are scammers, and I am being kind. 5% Compulsive gamblers? Now, who is in and out of jail? Who is violent? Who would prefer the daughter of the woman? Who is on heavy medication? Who is still in love with his ex? Who doesn't want to work? And of course, some of the above suffer from 2, 3, 4, 5, or more these issues. My point is that there are very few normal men out there. If I was not in a serious relationship there is an unlimited supply of women out there, and NOT because I am so great. But if you look OK, have some cash, can hold a conversation, have a sense of humor, and are a decent guy, you are in a HUGE minority. Believe me, when the day comes that I am such a bargain, it is a sorry state of affairs LOL!!! Guys, just have confidence. You will do better in your 50's and even 60's than you did at 30. You won't be getting the 10s any more but you will have a very good selection. There is no competition.
  22. How am I not dealing with it? They did NOT deserve to make the playoffs this year having given up that amount of points, and without Tua. The things that I listed above were real events, including the lack of a great nose. Alabama has lots of titles and will win more at some point. I am just fine, thanks.
  23. You are the love in my life, You are my inspiration. Just you and me, Simple and free, Baby you're everything I ever dreamed of. Give me your own special smile, Promise you'll never leave me. Just you and me, Simple and free, Life is so easy, when you're beside me.
  24. After Da'Ron Payne and Quinnen Williams, they lacked that star player at nose. This is very important in a Saban defense. The top rated defensive end in the country coming out of high school lost his mind and didn't play. Oh, and their 2 stand out ILBs were lost for the season in training camp. Not bad enough? The top ranked freshman running back in the country was also injured in camp and lost for the season. Yeah, I suspect that Trey Sanders would have helped time of possession just a bit. Still, the team worked hard and tried. It's not as if our coach was Urban Meyer, whose wife said he was laying on the floor trying to cry after Coach Saban beat him. Good luck with OSU in the upcoming weeks. They do look strong and I hope they don't have their yearly meltdown.
