  1. Summertime, and the livin's easyBradley's on the microphone with Ras M.G.All people in the dance will agree That we're well-qualified to represent the L.B.C.And me and Louie, we gon' run to the partyDance to the rhythm, it gets harder(And we can do it like this, in the place to be)
  2. I am probably the biggest fan of Tua on this board. Trent Dilfer called him the smartest QB who ever came to his camp. The kid is extremely accurate and can make every throw. I sincerely doubt that he will ever get in trouble. Just an absolute great person and player. That said, the Bills should not select him in the first round. I am still of the opinion that our receiving corps is not so threatening. I cannot say enough how many top receivers are coming out in 2020. Tall receivers, absolute speedsters, guys with great hands.....everybody. Josh Allen needs weapons and he has the arm to reach any of these kids. For the first time in more years than I can remember, I am hoping for a 1st Round wide receiver. It feels strange to even type this.
  3. I grew up in a large neighborhood in Queens, NY. In the entire community, I only knew of 3 or 4 kids whose parents were divorced. Today, divorced parents are more common than married couples. This article seemed to reference "Donna Reed Show" or "Father Known Best (imaginary) families. In SOME cases, if parents showed more concern for their children and less self indulgence, perhaps the kids (if not the entire family) would be better off. In any case, I for one believe the old adage "you can only be as happy as your saddest child." At least it applies to me.
  4. Cold wind ripping down the alley at dawn and the morning paper flies. Dead man lying by the side of the road with the daylight in his eyes. Don't let it bring you down, It's only castles burning. Find someone who's turning, And you will come around. What a GREAT album!
  5. Saban saved his career. He has no reason to hate him other than being an messed up individual. I don't know THAT much about Kiffin. I do know that his ex-wife was a super 10 and they had little daughters. When he got caught cheating she tossed him and took his cash. Saban likes reclamation projects like Kiffin, Sark, and others. He does well with them. Wrt Cochrane, he is a great asset to the Crimson Tide but I really do suspect that Saban has a replacement lined up because he is probably one of the most organized people on Earth. Thanks for the link.
  6. Nights in white satin, Never reaching the end, Letters I've written, Never meaning to send.
  7. I was searchin' (searchin") on a one way street, I was hopin' (hopin') for a chance to meet, I was waiting for the operator on the line. (She's gone so long) What can I do? (Where could she be) no no no, Don't know what I'm gonna do, I gotta get back to you!
  8. Take a little trip, take a little trip, Take a little trip and see. Take a little trip, take a little trip, Take a little trip with me.
  9. Lotta poor man make a five dollar bill, keep him happy all the time. Some other fellow's making nothing at all, and you can here him cry..... Can I go buddy? Can I go down, Take your shift at the mine? Gotta get down to the Cumberland mine, Gotta get down to the Cumberland mine. That's where I mainly spend my time.
  10. I have mixed emotions on this. I mean you are probably right, but I think that we are currently in a class with any team in the league. Imo, no team completely outclasses the Buffalo Bills. Couple this with a young and improving Josh Allen, and we have a chance. That said, the 2020 draft was tailor made for the Buffalo Bills. I often wonder if Beane saw and planned for the glut of top quality receivers that will be out there in April (which I think is CLEARLY our #1 need). Sorry, but I am unaccustomed to highly skilled Bills leadership. So yes, it's a longshot, but imo the Bills still have a chance to go all the way, even this year. Next year, if they play the offseason right and stay fairly healthy, I think that they can win it all and will be one of the favorites to do so.
  11. You are still so wrong about this 33. The Tide fell short this year and just didn't deserve a playoff spot. Next year will also be rough imo. Their schedule is insane but with Coach Saban a chance always seems to remain.
  12. I'm sorry.....I didn't understand the joke.
  13. Good post! I too think that 4 teams is enough, unless they cancel the conference championship games. I don't think its fair to ask the kids to play more games and risk their health/future.
  14. At least when Coach Saban retires he will not be laying on the floor "trying to cry" like that great champion of women's safety, Weeping Urban Meyer Good luck against Clemson!
  15. There looks to be an unheard of number of blue chip wide outs in the 2020 draft like nothing I have ever seen before. This will be the perfect situation for a team like the Bills who need at least one wide receiver. One couldn't ask for a better class.
  16. Sark is a very skilled, smart and confident coach. He is perfect for Saban, who as we know doesn't hesitate to override decisions by assistants when he deems fit to do so. I agree with all that you say about Golding. I just feel like he will only improve as he continues to learn Saban's complicated system. The biggest issue they now face (imo of course) is at NT. The last 4 or 5 players we had at that position were great. I cannot stress enough the importance of this position in this defense. Now, Baremore looks like a budding superstar and could probably do it, but it sure is nice having him rush from more on the outside. I am 100% certain that Saban will go all out on the DL next season. He has to.
  17. Call me crazy but I predict an upset. Georgia is tough enough to beat people up on defense. Alabama just wasn't this year, too many losses due to injury. Kirby knows what to do against LSU, no?
  18. I play the street life, because there's no place I can go. Street life, it's the only life I know. Street life, and there's a thousand parts to play, Street life, until you play your life away.
  19. I am very sorry to hear this and may God provide solace to you and your family during these times of sorrow.
  20. Who is your favorite college team?
  21. Perhaps but maybe less than last season. The DC is a young coach who sounds very bright. As I said, he didn't have a good enough NT and lost both ILBs, and one was a certain 1st round pick. The freshmen who filled in are very talented but were ill equipped in terms of experience. DE Antonio Alfano was said by many to be the top prospect in the nation last year. He had some emotional (and/or other) problems and never reported. Huge loss. Sarkasian is (imo) a fine OC. I hope that he stays.
  22. Left my home in Norfolk Virginia, California on my mind. Straddled that Greyhound and rolled into Raleigh and on across Carolina. Stopped in Charlotte and bypassed Rock Hill and we never was a minute late. We was ninety miles out of Atlanta by sundown, Rollin' cross Georgia state.
  23. They need to seriously fortify the DL, especially the nose. A returning DL named Baremore looks like he will be great. The OL should be fine. Waddle will be back at wr and watch out for a returning soph. named Metchie, also a wr. Trey Sanders will be back at RB. They have an early commit from a QB from California who looks great. The schedule will be brutal but I am optimistic.
  24. . When the last rose of summer pricks my finger, And the hot sun chills me to the bone. When I can't hear the song for the singer, And I can't tell my pillow from a stone, I will walk alone, by the black muddy river, And sing me a song of my own. I will walk alone, by the black muddy river, And sing me a song of my own.
