  1. With all due respect, this fan thinks that you are looking at this the wrong way. You know who had a successful season? You. You personally. You were able to promote great discussion among a bunch of jaded, tough customers (I being one of them). Certainly this game was a particularly tough loss and it got worse when NE lost (which I predicted). Still, as bad as this was, I would take this over: 1) Losing another Super Bowl. 2) One of those seasons where we had zero chance to win, and then we would beat a top team to end the season and get worse draft picks. 3) Having such a bad draft that it was obvious before the season started that we wold not only fail to improve, but go backwards. 4) Playing in a tough town with tough fans with horrible lines on both sides of the ball. These things bothered me more than what happened yesterday, but back to you..... Thanks for coming here week after week with your thoughtful analysis. I know that it isn't easy, and it stops you from watching the game like a normal fan. Don't get discouraged. We still have the team, this forum, and the dream that one day it will all come together. Maybe we will draft a great receiver or 2 in April. Maybe our lines will get better. Maybe we will sign Derrick Henry as a UFA. Maybe Josh will become a bit more accurate with his great arm. Maybe this game will have have taught McDermott some lessons. I don't know but thanks again to you, and to all who participate in the dialogue that has been going on here for decades. I hope and expect to live long enough to see the Bills to win a title. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. 3. One fine morning, girl, I'll wake up Wipe the sleep from my eyes Go outside and feel the sunshine Then I know I'll realize That as long as you love me, girl, we'll fly And on that mornin' when I wake up I'll see your face inside a cloud See your smile inside a window Hear your voice inside a crowd Calling, "Come with me baby and we'll fly"
  4. And to those "SEC is no longer dominant" folks, the bowl results say otherwise, even if LSU loses (which I happen to think that they will). The advantage Clemson holds at Head Coach should be too much for LSU to overcome. JMO.
  5. Last fair deal in the country, sweet Suzie, Last fair deal, in the town. Put your gold money where your love is baby, Before you let my deal, go down.
  6. Nothing would make me happier but I can't picture them returning to the Tide. With Waddle being a year older, the receiving corps would be awesome yet again. I like this kid Metchie. I know it is early but Bryce Young reminds me of Kyler Murray. They also have a commitment from a monster OLB/pass rusher Chris Braswell. Now they need a nose!
  7. There is zero doubt that Davonta's stock has risen. Most of the mocks I have seen list Ruggs as being selected before Smith. I happen to think that Davonta will go first.
  8. Waddle is an incoming junior and will be back. There is a chance that he will be the best WR in the country and he almost certainly will be the best special team return man. He might already be. That kid has moves that I have never seen. There was a video of him racing Ruggs and he only lost by a half step. I hope that Bama will have a few more receivers next season to take coverage away from him. They will almost certainly have a better running game. Yeah, Waddle will be one to watch in 2020.
  9. Jerry Jeudy actually said this about Davonta. He is just that good. The kid makes fully extended catches. He has long arms and gets up very high. He has good speed and can even block. I have been talking him up all season. In a normal draft he would be a top 10-15 pick. It might even happen in 2020 but the are more quality wide receivers than I have ever seen in a draft.
  10. Well, ya got me there lol! Happy New Year.
  11. When the last rose of summer pricks my finger,And the hot sun chills me to the bone,When I can't hear the song for the singer,And I can't tell my pillow from a stone,I will walk alone by the black muddy river,And sing me a song of my own,I will walk alone by the black muddy river,And sing me a song of my own.
  12. Obviously not even almost as bitter as you after the Ohio State loss. Have your tears dried yet? Have you run out of tissues. C'mon bruh, make a few more excuses LOL!!!!!!! Please, the best quarterbacks in the playoffs won their respective games. That it it. Period. Still, don't let that stop you.....we all want to hear a dozen or so more excuses. We're not bored at all. Those refs sucked, right?
  13. Davonta gets open on almost every play and makes lots of catches while fully extended. Ruggs is probably the fastest kid in college. I would love for the Bills to have a choice between those two.
  14. What makes you like Ruggs more than Davonta Smith? I'm not trying to argue, just curious.
  15. You know I got to show youNobody else before youEver gave me such a beautiful feelin'Oh woman you touched a-my soul nowHoney don't a-let go nowHold on baby just a little bit tighterHold on a-just a little bit tighter now babyI love you so much and I can't let go no, no, noHold on a-just a little bit tighter now baby
  16. Despite some of the comments and jokes when Alabama lost their playoff hopes, I offer my condolences to all OSU Fans. I hope our teams meet in the championship game next season but our schedule is really tough.
  17. Tomorrow come trouble, tomorrow come pain Now don't think too hard baby, 'cause you know what I'm saying I could show you a high time, living the good life, don't be that way Nothing's for certain, it could always go wrong Come in when it's raining, go on out when it's gone We could have us a high time, living the good life, well I know Thanks yet again Robert Hunter. RIP.
  18. You say that once knew for sure But now you're walkin' into shore to wonder* The more you learn the less you know The more you move the more you go to nowhere* You ask a bird as she flies by Just where she's at she says, where the wind blows*
  19. I can, maybe even as many as 6. Jmo.
  20. Jose Canseco gained 45 pounds, kept a 32 waist, and got faster. I was at a game where he didn't get around on a pitch and got under it. The RF barely moved because it looked and sounded like a pop fly. The ball wound up being a mile high and over the right field wall in Yankee Stadium.
  21. If you call I'll be right with you, You and I should stay together. Take this love I long to give you, I'll be at your side forever. Call me. Don't be afraid you can, call me. Maybe it's late but just, call me, Tell me and I'll be around.
  22. I said she got the kind of lovin,' Kissin' and huggin.' She is mellow, Glad that I'm her fellow and I know, that she knocks me off my feet, Have mercy on me!
  23. Once beneath the stars, the universe was ours. Love was all we knew, and all I knew was you, I wonder if you know, I wonder if you think about me once upon a time, in your wildest dreams.
  24. Taylor made Carson and Johnson better players. He made everybody a better player. The man was like a machine. At times he was allowed by Parcells and Bellichick to roam the field and do anything he wanted. Remember, the OP is about teams. Btw, I am not making any all knowing proclamations. This is all jmo and a fun topic for conversation. PS: There were a couple of Dallas defenses that I thought were better than the Giants.
  25. I don't disagree but that was not one of the teams that I listed.
