Could you only imagine??? -
Does this mean that he gets 20 million at signing, plus the first 2 years guaranteed? If not, the numbers don't add up, no? I posted this yesterday as soon as I saw the new Agreement. This contract will be well below average VERY soon.

Put your hand in the hand of the man Who stilled the water Put your hand in the hand of the man Who calmed the sea Take a look at yourself And you can look at others differently Put your hand in the hand of the man From Galilee

And you can be sure that if you're feeling right A daydream will last long into the night Tomorrow at breakfast you may pick up your ears Or you may be daydreaming for a thousand years

CBA voted and APPROVED by players/owners
Bill from NYC replied to BillsFan17's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I expect the bulk of any new money to go to quarterbacks. When they first limited rookie salaries, they implied that the money would go to veteran players. Instead, QBs gobbled it up. I don't see this time being any different. Some QBs will soon make more than 50 mil. per season imo. Imagine paying someone this money and seeing them get hurt!!!!! PS: Who now blames Dak for not signing that contract? -
A wave on the ocean, a whirlwind on the sand I took a notion that her ship could not land then light me a candle in the forest so deep honey lay down here beside me, angels rock us to sleep Oh Corey, I'll be coming soon Through the Louisiana pines to the Mississippi moon Through the Louisiana pines to the Mississippi moon

I know every engineer on every train All their children, and all of their names And every hand out in every town And every lock that ain't locked when no one's around I sing, trailers for sale or rent, rooms to let, fifty cents No phone, no pool, no pets, I ain't got no cigarettes Ah, but, two hours of pushin' broom Buys an eight by twelve four-bit room I'm a man of means by no means, king of the road

I want to take time to thank the OP and all participants in this thread. It brought back decades of outstanding poetry and music. Yes, thanks to you all.

Blind man running Through the light Of the night With an answer in his hand Come on down To the river of sight And you can really understand Red lights flashing Through the window In the rain Can you hear the sirens moan? White cane lying In a gutter in the lane If you're walking home alone Don't let it bring you down It's only castles burning Just find someone who's turning And you will come around

The story's in the past with nothin' to recall I've got my life to live and I don't need you at all The roller-coaster ride we took is nearly at an end I bought my ticket with my tears, that's all I'm gonna spend And I think it's gonna be all right Yeah, the worst is over now The mornin' sun is shinin' like a red rubber ball

Internally there’s some love for Tee Higgins
Bill from NYC replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Perhaps so. Nick Saban smirks just a bit when he talks about the combines. Not that I am necessarily right mind you but I must completely, 100% disagree. Have you ever really watched Jerry Jeudy? He is virtually impossible to cover and is quite dangerous after the catch. I am not a pro scout but I do not put the 2 of them even in the same class. jmo. -
And darling all, all I need, Is just to hear you say, you forgive me, Forgive me baby. All, all I need, is to have you touch my hand, Say you understand, baby.

Make me shine just a little bit, just a little bit Keep me high just a little bit, just a little bit Can we spend some time? (Can we spend some time)?

I sailed an ocean, unsettled ocean, Through restful waters, and deep commotion, Often frightened, unenlightened, Sail on, sail on sailor. I wrest the waters, fight Neptune's daughters, Sail through the sorrows, of life's marauders, Unrepenting, often empty, Sail on, sail on sailor.

No time for a summer friend, No time for the love you send, Seasons change and so did I, You need not wonder why. You need not wonder why. There's no time left for you. No time left for you.

Have you seen your mother, baby, standing in the shadow? Have you had another, baby, standing in the shadow? I'm glad I opened your eyes. The have-nots would have tried to freeze you in ice.

You've been abusing her for far too long; Think you're a king and she's your pawn. Get ready now, 'cause pretty soon She'll be gone and you'll be on your own. She's waiting for another love. She's waiting for another love

Redskins and Tua at pick 2 - Smokescreen or real?

Great point. I learned many years ago that there are people who are extremely wealthy in spite of themselves. -
Favorite fast food places not available in WNY
Bill from NYC replied to Jrb1979's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I think that Anderson's in WNY is just so good that they really don't need any more fast food places. If they opened on Long Island with the same quality they would be multi-millionaires. Ted's is also insanely great. Fast food is much better upstate than down here. Did Chick fil a come up there yet? That is the best we have down this way and they do more business than one could imagine. -
I do not dislike Dak. In fact, I touted him on this board when he was coming out of Mississippi State. He fell way down in the draft because of a dui, which was uncharacteristic for the kid. That said, I don't know if I would pay him 35 million guaranteed for a few years. That would seem to be a very high risk. As for comparing him to Josh, Dak is also a very tough guy and does have talent. Josh is a better physical specimen and has a much higher ceiling. I'm not sure that Cousins isn't already at his ceiling.
