  1. Crazy cat peekin' through a lace bandanna Like a one-eyed cheshire, like a diamond-eye jack A leaf of all colors plays a golden-string fiddle To a double-e waterfall over my back
  2. Think about it, there must be higher love, Down in the heart or hidden in the, stairs above. Without it, life is wasted time, Look inside your heart and I'll look into mine.
  3. I couldn't sleep, I went on crying, And I saw the risin' of the sun. All night long my heart was crying, You're the one (you're the one), You are the one, you're the one. Youngblood, Youngblood, Youngblood, Well I can't get you out of my mind.
  4. Jedrick Willis is a fine player. He did play the blind side for Tua. I am guessing that I have seen every play of his career. I do however warn that he jumps early and gets penalized WAY too much, and I have seen him do it at crucial times. I don't know if the problem is concentration, whereas I heard him speak and he doesn't sound dumb by any means. He has driven Saban nuts a few times, to the point of being ready to explode. I hope that he can fix this issue but once again, I don't know what the problem is.
  5. I take a walk outside, I'm surrounded by some kids at play I can feel their laughter, so why do I sear Oh and twisted thoughts that spin 'round my head I'm spinning, oh I'm spinning, how quick the sun can drop away And now my bitter hands cradle broken glass Of what was everything All the pictures have all… And now my bitter hands cradle broken glass Of what was everything All the pictures have all been washed in black Tattooed everything
  6. Many have I loved, and many times been bitten Many times I've gazed along the open road Many times I've lied, and many times I've listened Many times I've wondered how much there is to know Many dreams come true, and some have silver linings I live for my dream, and a pocket full of gold Mellow is the man who knows what he's been missing Many, many men can't see the open road
  7. Dave, after McKelvin was selected, look who went in 2 of the following 4 picks. Seriously? Remember, we had NO blocking in those days. Zero. The Bills were a weak, pansy ass team. The only good blockers we had during those bleak years we let walk away as free agents. No, wait.....we also traded a Hall of Fame Left tackle. Clady and Albert were excellent blockers. We didn't want them. We wanted a cornerback. Mahomes and Watson (admittedly my choice at the time) were very good QB prospects. Instead, we took a cornerback and I would not care if he was the equal to Mel Blount (which he is not), it was a stupid move. As Badol said (in so many words, more of the same).
  8. The thing is that many of the Bills idiotic moves over the years have had a long term negative impact on not only the franchise, but also the fanbase. When the Bills passed on great linemen on both sides of the ball (HUGE needs at the time mind you) to draft Whitner and then McKelvin, these unthinkably dumb moves pretty much buried any chance at a Super Bowl, let alone playoff appearances. In the case of trading away from Mahomes (and Watkins) for a defensive back, it is rather early to assess just how much damage was done. I am thrilled that we do have Allen. He is a talented, exciting player to watch. The thing is, if he doesn't pan out, this could go down as one of the dumbest moves in NFL history. I mean it is possible. The above is why I am not surprised when the past blunders are mentioned by posters, and the ones I listed barely scratch the surface.
  9. Ventura Highway in the sunshine Where the days are longer The nights are stronger than moonshine You're gonna go I know-uh-oh-uh-oh-uh-oh-uh-oh-uh-oh-uh-oh 'Cause the free wind is blowing through your hair And the days surround your daylight there Seasons crying no despair Alligator lizards in the air, in the air
  10. Good-bye mama and papa Good-bye Jack and Jill The grass ain't greener The wine ain't sweeter Either side of the hill. Did you say your name was ramblin' rose? Ramble on baby, settle down easy Ramble on rose.
  11. December promise you gave unto me December whispers of treachery December clouds are now covering me December songs no longer I sing Don't scream about,… Don't scream about, don't think aloud Turn your head now, baby, just spit me out Don't worry about, don't speak of doubt Turn your head now, baby, just spit me out
  12. I walk in shadows searching for light, Cold and alone, no comfort in sight. Hoping and praying for someone to care, Always moving and goin' nowhere. What becomes of the broken-hearted, Who had love that's now departed? I know I've got to find, Some kind of peace of mind, Help me.
  13. Thanks to the OP and others for the recommendations. This is a great time of the year to have some extra books in the house.
  14. You and me and rain on the roof, Caught up in a summer shower, Dryin' while it soaks the flowers, Maybe we'll be caught for hours, Waitin' out the sun.
  15. It's a shame (sha-ame), the way you mess around with your man, It's a shame (sha-ame), the way you hurt me. It's a shame (sha-ame), the way you mess around with your man, I'm sitting all alone, by the telephone, Waiting for your call when you don't call at all It's a shame (sha-ame), the way you mess around with your man, It's a shame (sha-ame), the way you play with my emotions. It's a shame (sha-ame), the way you mess around with your man, You're like a child at play, on a sunny day, But you play with love and then you throw it away
  16. Correct but this kid, even when healthy, was not strong enough to play RT. He was fairly agile but again, he wasn't even close to being the best blocker on that OL. He was a huge mistake of Donte Whitner proportion (almost).
  17. She comes from a town where they call her the woodcutter's daughter. She's brown as the bank where she kneels down to gather her water. And she bears it away with the love that the river has taught her, Let it flow, greatly flow, wide and clear.
  18. Amazing post!!! Seriously. To this day I cannot understand the selection of Kouandjio. He was a good kid but he was the 4th (perhaps even 5th) best player on that OL and I posted it on this board. Not only that, he was seriously injured. For me not to want to draft a LT AND a player from Alabama is monumental, no? I do hope that he recovered from his problem. He was a really good kid in Tuscaloosa. No problems whatsoever.
  19. This happens when you trade up and use early picks for corners. Just kidding.
  20. Oh, I hear her voice as the cold winds blow, In the sweet music on my radio, Have you seen her? Tell me have you seen her? Why, oh, why Did she have to leave and go away? Oh...oh...oh...oh...oh... I've been used to havin' someone to lean on, And I'm lost, baby I'm lost.
  21. Absolutely and I am sure that there is WAY more to this story, none of it good.
  22. Welcome to your life, There's no turning back. Even while we sleep, We will find you acting on your best behavior, Turn your back on Mother Nature, Everybody wants to rule the world.
  23. I'm sorry. Over the years there have been some hilarious posts from people with serious complaints about some smoking hot women. I think the SDS even commented about it once if I recall. Looking at it your way the post actually WAS quite funny!
  24. Yeah, it depends on the individual draft. All indications point to a draft that is loaded up with talented wide receivers like perhaps none other.
