  1. Actually I meant White.
  2. Till the morning comes It'll do you fine Till the morning comes Like a highway sign Showing you the way Leaving no doubt Of the way back in or the way back out Tell you what I'll do I'll watch out for you You're my woman now Make yourself easy Make yourself easy Make yourself easy
  3. I was in Barnes & Noble last month and saw a YES greatest hits CD for $4.99 so I grabbed it. The last song is a live version of "I've Seen All Good People." In the last 90 seconds or so of the song he introduces Howe, Squire, Wakeman, and White who absolutely tore it up. If I make it through this plague, a Yes concert is on my bucket list.
  4. I was fond of White also.
  5. Off topic but how would you rate the drummer in YES? I always found him to be sensational.
  6. I can still remember some of the satirical takes on movies and this is odd, considering it's hard to remember what I ate for lunch yesterday.
  7. The Philly show was also amazing!
  8. That's right....JRAD
  9. When Kadlecik left Dark Star orchestra and joined Furthur, they were great. This band brought me back into Dead music. BTW their drummer (Joe Russo) was better than the GD drummers and the keyboard player (Jeff Chimenti) was comparable to Brent. Seriously. They got rid of John and went with Trey Anastasio and sounded horrible imo. Then, they brought in Mayer who has talent, but this is not Grateful Dead music imo. Bottom line? They went commercial and sold out. We have a local band in NYC and mostly Long Island called "Half Step" that is very popular and does a good job. I still like to see John K when he comes around.
  10. Melvin Seals and the JGB are still around. I saw them with John Kadlecik playing lead guitar. John is a fantastic guitarist and a nice guy. I met him several times. John is now playing full time and touring with Melvin and the band. At least he was before this horrible crisis.
  11. People get ready There's a train a-coming You don't need no ticket You just get on board All you need is faith To hear the diesels humming Don't need no ticket You just thank the Lord.
  12. If I recall, I saw them in the late 70s at a big club in Nassau County called "My Father's Place." This club recently re-opened. For some reason I cannot remember what year it was.
  13. Yes but when they split for a while, Weir was in a group called "Kingfish" and they were great. Dave Torbet (from the New Riders) played bass and was a great singer. Bob played rhythm, the band was sensational.
  14. I disagree but that's what makes the world go 'round. Was this in 89? I think that Jerry was at his best in 1989, to include the show at Rich Stadium.
  15. Sure, gotcha.
  16. Oh I remember it well. Nick Saban was the coach and was screaming for Brees. Instead they landed Dante Culpepper who he cut mid-season.
  17. I have a picture Pinned to my wall, An image of you and me and we're laughing' We're loving it all. But look at our life now, All tattered and torn, We fuss and we fight and delight in the tears that we cry until dawn. Hold me now, Whoa warm my heart, Stay with me, Let loving start, Let loving start.
  18. It is hard to believe almost anything this close to the draft.
  19. Do you think that pandering to the anti-semites in congress hurt him to any extent. I suspect that this turned off a sizeable amount of Jewish voters.
  20. I agree with all except the last sentence. How could they not?
  21. Sweet love's showin' us a heavenly light, Never seen such a beautiful sight. See love glowing on us every night, I know forever we'll be doing it.
  22. That was an amazing article John. Those were some crazy compliments in the end as well. Remember, Tua came to Alabama because he felt like the exposure might get him a better contract so he could build a church for his dad, who is a minister. Saban, not the most affectionate type, gets misty eyed just talking about Tua. One time Tua actually put his arm around Saban who looked uncomfortable but didn't move away lol.
  23. I couldn't open it. I have a feeling that this kid might be a fairly decent player for the Crimson Tide...….
  24. Yes he was. He was also a RT (as opposed to McKinnie being a LT) who had weight issues and a chronic ankle problem. When you weigh 360 or more pounds (which I think MW did despite his listed weight), it is hard to fix a bad ankle. I was screaming for months for the Bills to draft McKinnie. I am not supposed to know more than the Bills GM, scouting staff, and coaches. I am just so happy that times have changed.
  25. Bob, the thing is that the 2006 draft was absolutely loaded with talent, and at positions of need for the Bills. Whitner was an ok player. He also cost the Bills approx. 36 million real cap dollars. How many games did he win for us? Whitner doesn't belong on the list because of the title of the thread, but an undersized "good" safety should not be drafted at #8. In that sense, picking Whitner was stupid and amateurish. They lucked into Kyle Williams in the 5th. Other than that the entire draft was a disgrace. Jmo.
