  1. Asked a girl what she wanted to be, She said, "baby, can't you see?" I want to be famous, a star on the screen, But you can do something in between. Baby you can drive my car, Yes I'm gonna be a star. Baby you can drive my car, And maybe I'll love you.
  2. Then they should do away with conference championships. A case could be made that these kids play too many games now. I think it is totally unfair to have them play even more games and take a bigger risk of injury and losing millions of dollars. Jmo.
  3. Day by day Day by day Oh Dear Lord Three things I pray To see thee more clearly Love thee more dearly Follow thee more nearly Day by day
  4. I'm sorry if my post was a bit short. I like Delpit as a player and agree with you that injuries slowed him down last season. That said Mark, I have my own wounds if you will from the Bills wasting picks on the secondary. Watching Whaley stupidly trade away draft picks (and hurt the team while doing so) also left a scar. Taking a DB instead of Mahomes or Watson was also painful, and it doesn't matter how good Tre White is. Who won the Super Bowl? Who did not? We already traded away a #1. Now what? Should we give up our #1 in 2021? I really don't think so. Trades such as this have proven to be a losing strategy. Jmo, Peace.
  5. Maybe we can trade up to #8. That sounds like a superb idea!!!!! I mean look at all those playoff and Super Bowl Appearances we had from drafting Whitner at 8!!!
  6. Oh, darling I'm so lonely without you Can't sleep at night Always thinking about you But if I had the Chance to start all over I would be wishing today On a four leaf clover And leaving would be The last thing on my mind If I could turn back The hands of time
  7. True lol. I never saw a fight between fans or with cops at any of the numerous concerts that I attended. If I even saw an argument I don't remember it.
  8. Woman, take me in your arms Rock your baby Woman, take me in your arms Rock your baby There's nothin' to it just say you wanna do it Open up your heart and let the lovin' start Woman, take me in your arms Rock your baby Woman, take me in your arms Rock your baby
  9. I know but they are harmless (except to themselves). I saw a Dead Fan selling acid at a concert, directly in front of a uniformed police officer. The guy thought the cop was "part of his trip." The cop let him go and told him to get lost.
  10. Pearly's been true True to me, true to my dyin' day he said I said to him I said to him, "I'm sure she's been" I said to him, "I'm sure she's been true to you" I got up and wandered Wandered downtown, nowhere to go but just hang around I've got a girl Named Bonnie Lee, I know that girl's been true to me I know she's been, I'm sure she's been true to me
  11. Got it, thanks!
  12. I continue to be shocked at your honesty and open mind. Sorry if this sounds condescending because I truly do not want to give that impression. Hey, I am a conservative who supports labor unions. I don't sing the virtues of the Republican Party on every issue. Oh, and I am not always fond of the tactics of many national union leaders. Btw, I believe that the alt-right is practically non existent. If there was a KKK meeting with 100 in attendance, 50 would be feds, 30 would be police informants and the other 20 would be sick losers with a combined IQ of 50. ANTIFA is a far bigger threat than the Klan these days, and is at least as violent. They are smarter than the KKK but equally disturbed.
  13. I agree 100%!!! @The Poojer. How much better can it get than this? Watch Jerry smile while Brent went off. He just played rhythm guitar and took it all in. Yeah, this is as good as it gets imo.
  14. Thanks! This explains a lot, but it doesn't excuse what I consider to be fostering anti-Semitism. I think that Jews have historically suffered enough, too much too be abandoned, persecuted, and ridiculed by the democrat party. Sanders, a Brooklyn Jew, should have had the moral decency to defend them. He did not, nor did/does Pelosi have the guts and/or human decency to do so either. Do I have a dog in this fight? Yes, in fact I have 2. I am 1/2 Jewish, and I am a decent enough person to not turn my back on Jews. As always, thanks for the dialogue.
  15. Why can't I open this?
  16. Actually I meant White.
  17. Till the morning comes It'll do you fine Till the morning comes Like a highway sign Showing you the way Leaving no doubt Of the way back in or the way back out Tell you what I'll do I'll watch out for you You're my woman now Make yourself easy Make yourself easy Make yourself easy
  18. I was in Barnes & Noble last month and saw a YES greatest hits CD for $4.99 so I grabbed it. The last song is a live version of "I've Seen All Good People." In the last 90 seconds or so of the song he introduces Howe, Squire, Wakeman, and White who absolutely tore it up. If I make it through this plague, a Yes concert is on my bucket list.
  19. I was fond of White also.
  20. Off topic but how would you rate the drummer in YES? I always found him to be sensational.
  21. I can still remember some of the satirical takes on movies and this is odd, considering it's hard to remember what I ate for lunch yesterday.
  22. The Philly show was also amazing!
  23. That's right....JRAD
  24. When Kadlecik left Dark Star orchestra and joined Furthur, they were great. This band brought me back into Dead music. BTW their drummer (Joe Russo) was better than the GD drummers and the keyboard player (Jeff Chimenti) was comparable to Brent. Seriously. They got rid of John and went with Trey Anastasio and sounded horrible imo. Then, they brought in Mayer who has talent, but this is not Grateful Dead music imo. Bottom line? They went commercial and sold out. We have a local band in NYC and mostly Long Island called "Half Step" that is very popular and does a good job. I still like to see John K when he comes around.
  25. Melvin Seals and the JGB are still around. I saw them with John Kadlecik playing lead guitar. John is a fantastic guitarist and a nice guy. I met him several times. John is now playing full time and touring with Melvin and the band. At least he was before this horrible crisis.
