  1. So are several great coaches.
  2. The truth is that some of Allen's passes will never be so easy to catch. The kid has a freak arm and throws a football like a major league shortstop throws a baseball. There are different abilities that factor into arm strength. Allen has them all, from the very deep ball, throwing on the run, fastball, long out pattern, etc. His arm is extraordinary by any measure and it isn't always easy for even professional receivers to hold onto some of his passes. The above btw is why I wanted the Bills to draft Davonta Smith from Alabama in April. I thought they would be a perfect match because he has glue hands, but he stayed in school. Maybe next year! Oh and before any angry poster takes the above as an insult to JA, it was far from it.
  3. Are you wrong to give your love To a married man? And am I wrong trying to hold on To the best thing I ever had? If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right
  4. He is pretty good, but a mere fraction of his brother. He would not have beat out Mac Jones, and Saban seems to think that the incoming freshman will be great, which is likely.
  5. Wherever you go, Whatever you do You know these reckless thoughts of mine Are following you. I've fallen for you Whatever you do 'Cause baby you've showed me so many things That I never knew Whatever it takes baby I'll do it for you Our love is alive, and so we begin Foolishly layin' our hearts on the table, stumblin' in. Our love is a flame, burning within Now and then firelight will catch us, stumblin' in
  6. See what happens when you draft a first round corner? JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. There's a new world somewhereThey call the promised landAnd I'll be there somedayIf you could hold my handI still need you there beside meNo matter what I doFor I know I'll never find another you
  8. Do remember if you will.....being found Not Guilty by a jury or a judge does not necessarily prove innocence. If that was the case we would think that OJ didn't kill those people and the cops who beat up Rodney King used a proper amount of force. Once again, he was lucky in that he didn't hurt anybody (and so were the police officers lol). I wish him only the best.
  9. Driving while intoxicated (assuming he was which sorry, imo is a safe assumption) with a gun in your car is a poor decision. I am not trying to force you to agree with me, this is simply how I feel. Do you think I like this? I am not getting any younger and want the Bills to win a Super Bowl. I didn't want this to happen and I view it as a very avoidable mistake. I happen to also be an Alabama Fan. Reuben Foster broke my heart, whereas I think that he could have been the best linebacker in the NFL bar none (once again, jmo). He just kept getting collared for domestic assaults and a host of other crimes. He seems to have tossed away mega millions of dollars and a good life. I do NOT put Oliver in this class!!!!!!!!!! But, imo it is obvious that he needs to make better decisions.
  10. You might want to lighten up, although your playing Sir Walter Raleigh for this kid is amusing. The kid did 2 wrong things. The police and the legal system are not to blame. Ed Oliver did it. Now that we have established that, lets look at the big picture: 1) The kid made a mistake. I do not hate, or even dislike him for it. You know why? Because he could have beaten at least one police officer to death and he did not. I do not take his arrest personally and imo, neither should you but again, this simply my opinion. 2) Despite my admitted tendency to side with the police, I firmly believe that every American is entitled to the absolute best legal representation that they can possibly get. I actually met Bill Kunstler and he spoke about this and made total sense. This young man is a millionaire and can and will assemble a great, costly legal team. Good for him, and btw; I would do the same thing if I were in his shoes. 3) There is plenty of time and hope for this kid to smarten up and make better decisions. This is what I want for him, and the possibility of him doing so does exist. How are his chances of turning things around? I don't know, and btw neither do you. I don't know his life story or his family situation, or what the future will hold for him. I also know that as serious as DUI is, it is an offense committed by many who are not necessarily habitual criminals in other areas of life. In other words, if a player is popped for something like robbery, I would say that there is little hope for turning things around. It doesn't have to be that way with DUI. 4) I offer no predictions about EO's future. Zero. In summary, I think that we can both agree that we want the young man to make better decisions. As much as I hope that he gets himself together, I for one refuse to depict him as some sort of victim. He could have grabbed his gun, left his car where it was, and taken an Uber.
  11. So let's all just declare him innocent. Look, kids make mistakes. We all have made mistakes. This kid was driving drunk with a gun. Ask yourself how much you would care about him if he wasn't a very promising young player on our favorite team. I'll take your answer off the air.
  12. Just a touch of love a little bit Just a touch of love Just a touch of love a little bit Just a touch of love Make me shine just a little bit, just a little bit It's in my mind just a little bit, just a little bit Keep me high, baby just a little bit, just a little bit Can we spend some time? (Can we spend some time?)
  13. Lazy lightning, sleepy fire in your eyes, Its like a fire in disguise, I keep trying but I, I can’t get through. Lazy Lightning, I’d like to find the proper potion, To help me gather your emotion, You’re right beside me but I, I can’t get through.
  14. Well the music's thunderin', restless and hotYou keep firin' me glances across the roomAnd I can't stop wonderin' just what you gotGet the feeling I'm going to find out real soonBut I feel like a stranger (feel like a stranger)So let's get on with the show, let's go
  15. Sweet days of summer, the jasmine's in bloomJuly is dressed up and playing her tuneAnd I come home from a hard day's workAnd you're waiting there, not a care in the worldSee the smile a-waitin' in the kitchen, food cookin' and the plates for twoFeel the arms that reach out to hold me, in the evening when the day is through
  16. To some people who have already experienced events which led to PTSD, this pandemic is just another trauma to face. The people in New Orleans standing on a roof with their children, watching coffins float by and waiting for a helicopter probably think that Katrina was worse than Covid19. As I said earlier, we have millions of people in America who never faced what I would consider truama, and this is a good thing. That said, seemingly lesser events can be very trying for them. Covid19 welcomed them to an ugly world that for instance correction officers face every day. Yes, it's a good time to be a psychologist, or so I think.
  17. People say that HE won't come And I don't know, what say you? But if He should would you be the one? I have a little question, I have to ask you Are you ready, to sit by his throne? Are you ready, not to be alone? Someone's coming to take you home And if you're ready then He'll carry you home.
  18. I am unqualified to diagnose you but that sounds like a valid reason to have PTSD. In my untrained opinion, events like yours (and certainly relationship issues like divorce) are likely to cause PTSD. Our country is GREAT. Maybe this sounds banal but it is true. Many are in such great financial shape that they have been able to keep their families insulated from things that soldiers, cops, firefighters EMTs, nurses, etc. have had to witness day in and day out. Thankfully, most people go through life without losing a child. Life was a breeze for many and I am sincerely happy for them. I mean this too, but now; many of these same people are walking around wearing a mask and a loved one is either in a hospital fighting for life or dead. I feel for them too because this type of horror is new to just so many. I somehow had a genius daughter who went to an Ivy. Once during the summer her friend called to speak to her. The kid is a billionaire, sweet girl too. She was upset because she was in love with a guy who is gay, and did not know what to do. My daughter stayed on the phone with her for hours. She consoled her and told her to move on. The girl was traumatized. It occurred to me that this nice, rich, pretty kid probably never had much to worry about, ever. To her, this was a major problem which probably gave her PTSD. Now compare her issue to yours. Am I making sense? So in any event, yes; I think that there will be great times ahead for psychologists. Millions of people will need one imo, or at least will benefit by seeing one. Sorry to ramble. Jmo.
  19. Speak to me of summer, Long winters longer than time can remember, Setting up of other roads, To travel on, in old accustomed ways. I still remember, the talks by the water The proud sons and daughters, That in the knowledge of the land, Spoke to me in sweet accustomed ways.
  20. Ain't got no trouble in my life, No foolish dream to make me cry, I'm never frightened or worried, I know I'll always get by. I heat up (heat up) I cool down (cool down) When something gets in my way I go round it. Don't let life get me down, Gonna take life the way that I found it. I got the music in me I got the music in me I got the music in me.
  21. I think that many folks will acquire PTSD from this. I hope I am wrong but I'm all but sure that millions of people will get cases of long lasting PTSD that weren't there before the virus.
  22. Don't say, words you're gonna regret Don't let, the fire rush to your head I've heard the accusation before And I ain't gonna take any more, believe me, The sun in your eyes, made some of your lies worth believing I am the eye in the sky, looking at you I can read your mind I am the maker of rules, dealing with fools I can cheat you blind.
  23. Would hatred of sportswriters come in second or third? I'm thinking calling hot looking women ugly is probably 4th.
