  1. Check this out MV....... https://www.profootballnetwork.com/2021-two-round-nfl-mock-draft/
  2. Great question!!! I have to think about that one.
  3. Diggs cost us a great deal in a draft that was loaded with wide receivers. I hope it works out and we will find out soon enough. Am I just a bit wounded and skeptical from the oh so many dumb trades/draft picks this team has made? Of course. How could I not be? They passed on Mahomes and Watson. Again, I like Josh. I really do but stepping away from drafting one of these two and drafting a corner was the epitome of stupid. A textbook way to lose, and I don't care that Tre is a good or even great corner. It was idiotic to pass on these players. Obviously, Beane wasn't here yet and is not to blame. Yes, better days ahead!!!
  4. I can understand why some would not like Fromm. He doesn't have the big arm that sticks out at you and he doesn't have blazing foot speed. But, I have been watching him for years. He is smart, confident and a leader that his teammates seemed to respond well to. I am a huge Crimson Tide Fan and he had us beat until Tua made a play for the ages in overtime for the title. I think that he will make it in this league but, make no mistake; the above does not make me "right." Theoretically, I am probably wrong given the number of professional GMs who passed on him. That said, as many here will tell you, many fans on this board have been more accurate wrt the draft than many GMs, including our own.
  5. I know how early it is to say this but from what I gather, the 2021 draft class will be chock full of OTs. There might actually be more prominent tackles than there were receivers in 2020.
  6. Yeah, I had a couple of accusations and ironically, I posted how happy I was with the Allen pick the day after he was drafted and have not uttered one bad word about him since. And you are 100% correct. When an astute poster like BADOL is chastised and scorned by other posters for not marching lockstep with the party line, the board loses something and is worse off.
  7. Bruce Smith Jim Kelly Jason Peters Bryce Paup
  8. I am missing most of the "Allen hate," and the hate that does exist I don't even understand. The kid has unlimited talent. He is from a small school and needs to develop a bit more. So what? My choice for QB in 2018 was: Darnold Allen Mayfield Rosen It looks to me that Allen will soon be better than Darnold. We shall see.
  9. I guess you weren't around for Rob Johnson, Trent Edwards, EJ Manuel or even Flutie.
  10. Great stuff, thanks! It is worth noting that the Bills were NOT looking for a qb at the time, but couldn't resist Fromm when he was still there. This was such an intelligent move by Beane! Also, they were talking about his arm strength and said it won't be a problem, and I agree. Do I expect Josh Allen or Drew Bledsoe circus throws? Of course not. Are they a necessity? No. John, I never said that I expect Fromm to beat out Josh, and I do not want, nor do I expect any type of QB controversy. I do however expect Fromm to develop into a good quarterback. I also think that he was a GREAT draft pick. Other Bills GMs would have simply reached at a less important position. Instead, we have a good, smart kid who if he DOES develop, at the very least will be worth a high draft pick. There was nothing to lose and quite a bit to gain. I'm loving it!
  11. Up every morning just to keep a job (up!) I gotta fight my way through the hustling mob (up!) Sounds of the city pounding in my brain (up!) While another day goes down the drain (up!) (Yeah, yeah, yeah) but it's a five o'clock world when the whistle blows No-one owns a piece of my time And there's a five o'clock me inside my clothes Thinking that the world looks fine, yeah A-da-lay-ee-ee (up, up, up!)
  12. Night and day You are the one And under the sun Whether near to me or far It's no matter darling Where you are I think of you Night and day
  13. Yeah, some of the IPAs are too hoppy or too strong for me. The ones I listed are perfect. NYC water is actually very good. It comes from upstate reservoirs. America no longer makes the world's worst beer. Not even close. Every state has these microbrews and most of them make good products.
  14. Nine o'clock the next day and I'm ready to go I got six hundred miles to ride to do one more show, oh no Can I get you a taxi home? It sure was grand When I come back here next year, I wanna see you again What was your name, little girl? What's your name? Shootin' you straight, little girl Well there ain't no shame
  15. If I am not mistaken, agents in North Carolina are not even allowed to show houses. They take buyers on virtual tours. I wouldn't buy a house that way.
  16. Thanks but we have been looking in the suburbs of Charlotte.
  17. My son in-law is a prominent attorney and a very, very smart guy. He told me that Russian multi-millionaires bought up the Manhattan apartments for millions and were virtually unconcerned about prices. He say it is their way of hiding money from the Russian government. I don't know at all if this is true but he swears by it.
  18. Four years ago I was looking at a townhouse in a beautiful suburban community in NC. They were asking 249K. Recently there was a similar one (but not as nice) on the same block and they were asking 289K. I don't know how much they got but it sold instantly. This was before Covid19. I really like my agent. She sold townhomes to 2 of my friends. I even trust her to a large degree but it seems as if agents want to keep the prices higher for bigger commissions. She said that people still want to retire down there which makes sense but like you; I can't see the prices not getting lower. I guess we will know soon enough. PS: VERY bad time in NY for rental property.
  19. Real estate confuses me now. We have been looking in NC for a while now. I called our broker and she said that she does NOT expect a sharp decrease, and I was very surprised to hear this. If people have no jobs, how will they buy houses? She even thinks that the market will hold steady, and I cannot see how. I would love to know how others view the real estate market for now and the next few years.
  20. Beer. I turned into what I always scorned lol, a beer snob. I like an IPA called Coney Island Merman (Brewed in Brooklyn). It is $10.99 per six pack and 5.8 abv., and not to be confused with their "Mermaid," a pilsner. Another IPA is from a Canadian company, Collective Arts. The beer is called "Life in the Clouds." It cost $13.99 for a 4 pack of 16 ounce cans and I can only get it at Trader Joes. It is 6.2 abv. They carry it at Wegman's in Williamsville, I bought it there last summer. They are worth every last cent, and if the price goes up I will still buy it. Both are cloudy, hazy IPAs and absolutely perfect. I'm glad these great products were not around in my younger days when I drank 5x or 10x more than I consume today. I am no longer able to drink Coors Light, Bud, Miller, etc., to the point where I turn it down at parties. Who knew?
  21. It was rough. It used to bother me way too much. Many posters on this board would call me after certain draft picks just he hear my obscenity laced tirades. And you are JUST so right about fans being polled. It sounds crazy but year after year fans on this board had better drafts than the Bills. I am pretty happy with Beane.
  22. Well my baby, she's all right Well my baby, she's clean out of sight Don't ya know that she's Some kind of wonderful Some kind of wonderful Yes she is Some kind of wonderful Yeah yeah yeah yeah
  23. I think that some would crave a total collapse if it meant them gaining, or staying in power. And sincere thanks for recognizing the fact that I said "SOME." I don't want this to get ridiculous.
