Your love, lifting me higher Than I've ever been lifted before So keep it it up Quench my desire And I'll be at your side, forever more You know your love (your love keeps lifting me) Keep on lifting (love keeps lifting me) Higher (lifting me) Higher and higher (higher) I said your love (your love keeps lifting me) Keep on (love keeps lifting me) Lifting me (lifting me) Higher and higher (higher)

Tough times in Fun City, thanks to Mayor Wilhelm and Governor Adolph Cuomo, the Butcher of Nursing Homes. Coming to a city near you: https://www.foxnews.com/us/dozens-shot-least-8-killed-during-violent-fourth-july-weekend-nyc I think I saw that there were 89 shootings for the week.

Wanna buy a house in NYC? $829,000
Bill from NYC replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
I am 100% familiar with this community. Yes, 100%. It is right there in the top 10 in the entire city in terms of not getting murdered, schools (District 26), parking your car, etc. This community is approx. 5 miles or less from the NYC/Nassau County border in the borough of Queens. In the month of June, the number of home sales in Manhattan (another place that I know something about) dropped by 82%. Sale prices dipped (not 100% sure about this stat) by 18% iirc. Sale prices in Nassau and Suffolk Counties (Long Island) have increased, pandemic and all. The borough of Manhattan and many other parts of NYC are now a cesspool. There are riots, along with shootings galore. The stats are there for anyone to find. The politicians are not doing anything about it, and people are fleeing NYC. This community is a last outpost of sorts. Oh and btw, the residences taking the biggest hit in Manhattan are co-ops costing between 2 and 4 million. Now that folks are able to work from home (a subject worthy of it's own thread), there is, and will be less need for cities. Taking everything into account (to include taxes and monthly maintenance costs), the asking price doesn't look as bad. Edit: This is what people are escaping from. This, and of course covid19. https://www.foxnews.com/us/dozens-shot-least-8-killed-during-violent-fourth-july-weekend-nyc -

Very interesting story! -
Thanks to you and Alf. I am sure that I will enjoy it more at half capacity.

Last year we went to Niagara Falls and stayed in Williamsville. We flew and rented a car at the airport. We are going back this month and I'm taking my car. I don't even know if Maid of the Mist is running, and sadly; I'm not sure how I fell about going on it. Does anyone know what they are doing? Are they running at all? Spacing?

If you ever feel lonesome And you're down in San Antone Beg, steal or borrow two nickels or a dime To call me on the phone And I'll meet you at Alamo Mission We can say our prayers The Holy Ghost and the Virgin Mother Will heal us as we kneel there In the moonlight, in the midnight In the moonlight, midnight moonlight In the moonlight, in the midnight In the moonlight, midnight moonlight

I walk in shadows, searching for light' cold and alone, no comfort in sight. Hopin' and prayin' for someone to care, always movin', and goin' nowhere. What becomes of the broken hearted, who had love that's now departed? I know I've got to find, Some kind of peace of mind.

When she's saying that she wants only me Then I wonder why she sleeps with my friends When she's saying that I'm like a disease Then I wonder how much more I can spend Well I guess I should stick up for myself But I really think it's better this way The more you suffer The more it shows you really care, right, yeah, yeah

And you would be correct Sir. 65 for the Spoonful, 66 for the Critters. Nice catch! -

Unpopular takes on TBD

Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
For entrance to the stadium, I agree. After that there will be little if anything at all they (and even the police) will be able to do, especially in this current political climate. I am not calling fans idiots either, but imo anyone attending a game is not doing so with safety in mind. I just got my $280 refund for 2 tickets to a concert that was changed from July to Sept. 29. I like this musician, but not enough to sit through a show under these conditions.

Promo, do you drink beer, or any other liquids at football games? Do you eat? I assure you that I am NOT being a wiseass with those questions. "Wearing a mask" becomes cliché at a football game if one plans to remove it for every sip of beer and every bite of a hotdog, wouldn't you say? Half of them will be ripped apart by the end of the game, or so I think. Oh and masks at a tailgate? Seriously? Do you see what people do at these things and actually think these people will be concerned with masks? Of course, jmo.

Should Steve Tasker be in the Hall of Fame?

I'm surprised that Mark Pike was not on that list, seriously. Blocking Pike was like standing in front of a freight train. -

I for one do not think this at all. Looking back, he would have been a fine 1st Round pick.
