Democrats Can't Win Elections Without Cheating
Bill from NYC replied to Rob's House's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I'm willing to bet that Trump supporters won't need crying rooms, free pizza, and "comfort dogs" like the Hillary voters. -
Chris Chandler was a highly skilled QB and I think that he would be considered great if he played in the league today, almost like a Drew Brees. The problem was that he was getting murdered out there. The hits and the resulting injuries really took a toll on him. It was sad watching him at the end but again, in this NFL; I think that he would be an exceptional QB. Jmo.

Interesting that Weir chose 1989. He looked as happy as I have ever seen him at the Philly concert, which was a completely amazing show. I saw them in several locations, to include the Garden, Meadowlands, Roosevelt Stadium (Jersey City, and a bunch of other venues). In Philly/89, Weir looked completely satisfied and happy. Jerry appeared to be sober and was smiling for most of the show. Brent really took off was encouraged by Jerry to get deeper into it. The shows at the Meadowlands and Buffalo were just a few days away from Philly and they were also great. As I'm sure you know, Jerry hated the studio but did (imo) some splendid work there too.

Bob Costas Brings Up A Good Point about NFL Players
Bill from NYC replied to DefenseWins's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So will 99% of this board, despite the many who seem to be taking the alleged "high road." Allow me please to point out that even without covid19, we spend our weekends watching the strongest and most violent men on Earth risk serious injury (if not their lives) on virtually every play. They are only able to make the big money doing so because of people like us. But like anything else, we can pretend otherwise. -
Someone on an Alabama page posted that they will open against Vanderbilt on 9/26. This is completely unverified.

100% true!!!

I think that the band peaked in summer/1989. I like almost all of their music and have seen them numerous ties but in 89 they really had it together. I am in the minority but I think that things went downhill when Furthur broke up. Kadlecik is great imo.

Half a mile from the county fair And the rain came pourin' down Me and Billy standin' there With a silver half a crown Hands are full of a fishin' rod And the tackle on our backs We just stood there gettin' wet With our backs against the fence Oh, the water Oh, the water Oh, the water Hope it don't rain all day

Now the race is on And here comes pride in the backstretch Heartaches goin' to the inside My tears are holdin' back, they're tryin' not to fall My hearts out of the runnin' True love's scratched for another's sake The race is on and it looks like heartaches And the winner loses all

When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful A miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical And all the birds in the trees, well they'd be singing so happily Oh joyfully, playfully watching me But then they send me away to teach me how to be sensible Logical, oh responsible, practical And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable Oh clinical, oh intellectual, cynical

(Gonna find her) (Gonna find her) (Gonna find her) (Gonna find her) Yeah, I've been searchin' A-a searchin' Oh, yeah, searchin' every which a-way Yeah, yeah Oh, yeah, searchin' I'm searchin' Searchin' every which a-way Yeah, yeah But I'm like the Northwest Mounties You know I'll bring her in someday

You knew the SEC wouldn’t cancel their season
Bill from NYC replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are hundreds of thousands of black Alabama Fans. Do you count them in your ugly description? There are multiple Crimson Tide Facebook pages, some with 75,000 followers. These folks are out and out obsessed with the team and are every bit as enthusiastic as Bills Fans. The south does have a shameful history in terms of race, but; I dare say that they are more integrated than much of the north these days. The NYC school system is more segregated than those in Mississippi and Alabama. If you want to read a great book that touches on it, check out “The Battle For Room 314.” -

That was a rather disgusting thing to say. -

Do you realize just how boring you are? Before you convince 1 person to agree with your lame, banal point of view, you will put 100,000 folks to sleep. -
If he gets cut before the end of the season I will either be just a bit glad, or (most probably) not care at all.

Why, because that left wing page says so? Btw, how many screen names do you have on this board? -

It does matter and it will get worse, whereas many major cities are now promoting lawlessness. In NYS, our thing is to empty out jails and prisons. -

The police officer was a scumbag, and undid decades of good police work by thousands of dedicated professionals in one fell swoop. Of course the radical left is making it worse, but still; it will take years to undo the damage that this cop caused. The entire situation sucks and millions of people will suffer. Many already are. -

I don't think not being in lockstep agreement with you makes one "ignorant." Frankly, I think that you are coming off as rather smug, self righteous, and closed minded. -
[Edited] Beasley returns to Active list

I feel as if he should count. Back lives matter. -
I recommend that the rioters intentionally startle police horses. After doing so they should stand right next to them and show them who is boss.
