Buffalo SB Win OR Election Victory?
Bill from NYC replied to Numark3's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
In the "credit where it's due" department, you do raise a very good point. -
I sent a letter to a man I know Said, "One for the money and two for the show" I wait all summer for his reply Said, "Three to get ready and four to fly" Only two things in the world I love That's rock 'n' roll and my turtle dove When I was a young man, I needed good luck But I'm a little bit older now and I know my stuff Come on honey let me sing 'em away Come on honey let me sing 'em away Oh honey let me sing your blues away

Inside track on Lawrence after 2 weeks?
Bill from NYC replied to 4merper4mer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am going to respectfully, but strongly disagree. I don't think that Lawrence and Fields are on the same planet. Lawrence is 5x better as a passer and he too can move. Of course, this is jmo. Yours is an interesting scenario. I would consider it even a bit low for this kid. He might be considered the best prospect since Petyton Manning or even John Elway. -
See the curtains hangin' in the window, in the evenin' on a Friday night A little light a-shinin' through the window, lets me know everything is alright Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind

Buffalo SB Win OR Election Victory?
Bill from NYC replied to Numark3's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Taking it even a step further, this election means more to me that a Bills Super Bowl and a National Title for the Crimson Tide combined, but I will not be in a crying room if my candidate loses. -

100% election victory. Buffalo will have more chances to win than both candidates. -

Belichek’s Subway commercial
Bill from NYC replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe he made hundreds of thousands of dollars for a few hours of work. Also, I don't know; did he have to pay out lots of cash in alimony? -
I don't want to spend my time in hell Looking at the walls of a prison cell I don't ever want to play the part Of a statistic on a government chart There has to be an invisible sun It gives its heat to everyone There has to be an invisible sun That gives us hope when the whole day's done

The point spread is a trap. I'm looking at 31-13 Bills.

Week 2 Bills @ Dolphins Postgame Thread
Bill from NYC replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not going to make a habit of this, but these are the Robert Hunter lyrics that come to mind and inspire me after 2 divisional wins. We deserve this SO much!!! I have spent my life Seeking all that's still unsung Bent my ear, to hear the tune And closed my eyes to see When there were no strings to play You played to me In the book of love's own dreams Where all the print is blood Where all the pages are my days And all my lights grow old When I had no wings to fly You flew to me You flew to me Let's win a Super Bowl!!!!! -
Who gets promoted when Daboll becomes a HC?
Bill from NYC replied to Bangarang's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This post , while maybe not so timely lol is to be taken seriously. Daboll has been a whipping boy in these parts but he is a great coach, one who Allen seems to love. Daboll coached for Belichick and Saban, perhaps the 2 best coaches ever. They thought highly of him as does Allen, but many of us complain about him. I agree with you in that he is gone after this season. I hope we win now! GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
Week 2 Bills @ Dolphins Postgame Thread
Bill from NYC replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Obviously I missed much of the game, but here is what I have: 1) I predicted romp wins this week and last. Both games were much closer than I thought they would be. You know what this means? Not a damn thing! We are 2-0 vs. divisional opponents. Let this sink in. 2) Josh Allen is everything I hoped for and more. We can do it all with this kid if he stays healthy. 3) I am going to pay a lot more attention to Quinton Spain? Why? Because he looked like a monster today!!! He was looking for more contact after kicking ass. If he keeps it up, the possibilities are virtually endless for this offense. 4) Leave Daboll alone lol. I LOVED the way he managed the first half. Running the football successfully was absolutely crucial in winning this football game. 5) We are 2-0. I am not afraid of any team at this point. We have deserved to feel like this for many years. Let's keep it going!!!! 6) GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
If Epenesa is even almost as god as Schobel was he will be a complete score. Schobel had blazing speed from day 1. As he matured, he developed some nice moves to compliment the speed. At times he was the only good pass rusher on the entire team, yet often he was lined up wide to the point of almost being on the sideline, and even sent into coverage but he still produced sacks. More Bills Fans would recognize just how good Schobel but many of us are infected by the Bobby Murcer Syndrome. PS: Bills 42 - Dolphins 13

Sure, folks usually pay millions upon millions to live in an undesirable place. You do realize how dumb you come off, no? You, and your other nitwit aliases.
-
Yeah, living in Midtown Manhattan sucked. That is why 2 bedroom condos ran for 4-10 million dollars. Are you (and your other screen names) this stupid about every topic? Actually, this was a dumb question. Sorry.

You showed me how, how to leave myself behind How to turn down the noise in my mind Now I haven't got time for the pain I haven't got room for the pain I haven't the need for the pain Not since I've known you

This is a hard post to go against. I have watched every play of every game that Jeudy and Ruggs have appeared in and it wouldn't surprise me at all if Jeudy has a GREAT career. Ruggs is very good as well and is probably one of the fastest people on the planet. That said, as others have pointed out; it would have required a trade-up to draft them. I am generally staunchly against trade-ups, or even trading our first round picks but Diggs did look special on Sunday, especially with that sliding catch in the first half. It looks like a good move, one which I admittedly initially opposed.

Well, I beg you on my bended knees If you'll only listen to my pleas (Is there anything I can do?) 'Cause I really can't stand it, I'm so in love with you Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me

BIG10 Cancels Cancelling the Season- It Starts 10/23
Bill from NYC replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in College Football
The SEC decision came out long ago. You didn't post a syllable about it now did ya? Why were you not riding on your sanctimonious high horse about that with all of your deep concern for kids? That said, at least we can agree that it certainly is time to end this rather boring conversation. -

Bill from NYC replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in College Football
Please stop with your trite, supercilious nonsense. Tell me, where were your moans of discontent when the SEC came out with a 10 game schedule? You are easy to see through. Hurry, reply with another screen name!
