True. Most of them are wonderful people, right? Tell me, do you advocate bringing them into your nerighborhood? Would you like their offspring to attend school with your children?

Bama received a commitment fro Camor Wheaton, who is considered to be the top, or second highest rated running back in the country. He appears to me to be a power runner (listed at 5'11"/190 but I'm saying no way). He doesn't look to have Najee Harris moves, but he has real top end speed. His decision was probably influenced by the fact that The Tide also has commitments the top 2 rated OTs and a highly ranked center. They will need them because they will be losing their LT, LG, and Center (who the Bills really need imo, but I will get to this later). The Tide will be a young team next year but at this point they still look pretty good.

Your 4 Team Playoff Predictions Please.....
Bill from NYC replied to Bill from NYC's topic in College Football
I have no problem with this. Perhaps the better Group of 5 Teams should be integrated into conferences? You tell me. I for one think that this would be a better idea than playoff expansion, but I understand that many disgree. -
Your 4 Team Playoff Predictions Please.....

I have been thinking about this comment. To be honest, my biggest fear is Lawrence. I would love to know how you rate him, whereas he is the best prospect that I can remember. I was too young to recall Bert Jones coming out, but he had unlimited talent. Without injury, he might have been the best QB ever. I put Trevor Lawrence in a class with Bert Jones and Elway, and it does not please me to do so. Like any other QB, he is no good laying on his ass. The Alabama pas rush has improved quite a bit due to Will Anderson, Christian Barmore and Chris Allen. These guys are monsters no doubt but can they disrupt Lawrence enough to beat him? I really can't say. You know all about OSU. Do you think that they can stop Lawrence? You seem to have some great players up front. What should we expect in the playoffs in terms of OSU getting to Trevor? Thanks! -

I heard Coach Saban say that many, many teams refuse to play Alabama. Do you not believe this? Do you think a team like Cincy would WANT to play Alabama? I appreciate the dialogue and do NOT want to sound smug, but I am gonna throw it out there that Coach Saban and Alabama are not really too afraid of Boise State. -

Or, perhaps the teams that you mentioned should play Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M etc. in the regular season. Frankly, I doubt that they would do well against Tennessee or Auburn. This reminds me of when our Bills were terrible and folks would ask if Alabama could beat them. The answer was, and will always be no. The Jets would destroy Alabama. This is what the Tide would do to Cincy, etc. Then again, I could be wrong. If the playoffs contained 8 teams, fans would soon want 16. My point is that these are kids who risk career threatening injuries on every play. They should not (imo of course) be expected to play 15 or 16 games. -

The teams in the title game would have to play 15 games in a non-covid season. This is too many and unfair to the players imo. I am against playoff expansion unless they shorten the season and eliminate the conference title games. What did the Alabama- Florida game accomplish other than getting our excellent starting center hurt? I am less sure. The Tide defense improved from the start of the season but they are still a bit vulnerable. It looks to me as if all 4 of these teams have liabilities, ya know? -

I hope that we are right. Notre Dame is better than I thought and I am NOT saying that they can't defeat the Tide, but I think that we might match up well against them. Also, assuming we are correct; please accept my whole hearted support when/if you play Clemson. GO BUCKS!!!!! -
Here are mine: 1) Alabama 2) Clemson 3) Ohio State 4) Notre Dame (although I think that Texas A&M deserves it)

Only you know and I know All the loving we've got to show So don't refuse to believe it By reading too many meanings 'Cause you know, that I mean what I say so don't go And ever take me the wrong way You know you can't go on getting your own way 'Cause if you do, it's gonna get you someday.

Many years have passed since those summer days Among the fields of barley See the children run as the sun goes down Among the fields of gold You'll remember me when the west wind moves Upon the fields of barley You can tell the sun in his jealous sky When we walked in fields of gold When we walked in fields of gold When we walked in fields of gold
