  1. Thanks my friend. OSU fought with all they had under really tough circumstances. They have nothing, not one thing to be ashamed of and will continue to be great for many years. Hopefully, we will meet again. Thanks again! His draft grade just went through the roof.
  2. Let's all hope for a clean, injury free game on bothn sides! Roll Tide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Interesting. If you watch the game tonight, you might want to check out Christian Barmore (#58). He is a redshirt sophmore, so this makes him draft eligible. He is listed as 6'3/310 and he is VERY quick. He has 7 sacks on the year and many tackles on running plays. He is at least as good vs. the run as he is a pass rusher. The kid provides constant pressure. He is a street kid from North Philly. Saban suspended him once this year for the 1st quarter of a game and wouldn't say why. Make no mistake, the kid is a predator, a vicious tackler. Now, I am not sure where he will grade out in the draft. I personaly think that he would be better off staying in school for another year. He doesn't have THAT much experience. I know that is easy for me to suggest that he waits a year for the big money, but look at what happened with Davonta Smith, Najee Harris, and perhaps the most underrated OT in the NCAA, Alex Leatherwood. These guys made themselves untold millions by staying another year. That said, I think that he will come out. It might take him some time to develop, but it might not. I'm not qualified to really make that call. If he keeps his head on straight, he can be a star in the NFL. The kid is a huge talent. If I had to compare him to someone, it would be Warren Sapp.
  4. Nah, you are doing to well at it, and I appreciate what you do. You make it look easy but it just isn't.
  5. There's a chapel in the pines Waiting for us, around the bend Picture in your mind Love forever, but 'til then If she gives me a sign that she wants to make time (stop) I can't stop (stop) I can't stop myself (stop, stop) Lightning is striking again Lightning is striking again and again and again and again Lightning is striking again and again and again and again
  6. Great revue!!! I am thinking that most of us didn't quite know how good the Colts are. This makes the win even better. There is no limit as to how good Josh can be. He is already GREAT, and so is the team! You know things are getting better when we can even catch a break. How great was it when their kicker (who is excellent) missed that easy field goal? Things like this seemed to never happen for 20 or so years. The team is heading in the right direction and it's all good! Keep up the good work Bro!!!!!
  7. Lets talk about what Lawrence does NOT do well, or talent in any phase of the QB position that he lacks. He has size, speed, accuracy, touch, and a cannon. He seems to be smart in interviews. I know that great college talent doesn't always succeed in the NFL. Everybody knows this. He could turn into a Ruben Foster, go nuts, and throw it all away. And btw I know nothing of his character. What I do know is that he has everything it takes to become a great QB, and see no reason to pretend otherwise. Again, jmo.
  8. Good point. In that case Houston lacks the resources to get Lawrence. Tell me, if the Bills didn't have a great QB, how much would you give up for Lawrence?
  9. Beacuse Lawrence (imo) is the best QB prospect coming out of college since John Elway. I never insisted that I am correct with this assertion. It is merely the opinion of one football fan.
  10. I see that you listed the Jags as one of the choices. Initially, I couldn't understand why you listed them. IMO, and I could easily be wrong, Houston would have to trade Watson, and even cough up several very high draft picks (including their first round pick) to get the rights to Trevor Lawrence. I have always been a fan of Watson and wanted the Bills to draft him. That said, count me as one who thinks that Lawrence is an even better prospect, if not MUCH better. If I was the GM of Houston and could give up Watson, a 1st and a 2nd for the rights to draft Lawrence, I would do it in a second. That is how great I think that he will be. The only quarterbacks that I would NOT trade for the rights to Lawrence are Mahomes, and of course Josh Allen. No way! We are just that lucky to have Josh on our team. Again, JMO.
  11. It would seem to be high. I think that OSU will want to run quite a bit die to their recent success doing so, or maybe even due to the injury to Fields. Under would seem to make sense.
  12. I am a Daboll fan and no, I don't think that the Bills will necessarily suffer when he departs. The thing is, as great as he is; Josh is still young and will get even better!!! Better and more experienced. The other thing that matters is the draft. To stay on top, we need to continue to draft good players. Again, as great as he is, Josh still needs weapons and protection. Marv Levy is no longer the GM. Neither is Doug Whaley. We have a talented GM who knows how to put a football team together. I'm not at all worried. Not any more. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. I took her home to my place Watching every move on her face She said " look, what's your game baby? Are you tryin' to put me in shame?" I said " slow don't go so fast, Don't you think that love can last?" She said " love, Lord above, Now you're tryin' to trick me in love" All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now
  14. I know that it sounds insane but it is not impossible for Waddle to be selected before Davonta.
  15. You are so right, and thank you. If Waddle can come back (and I don't know if he could possibly be 100%) it will be a privilege to watch those 2.
  16. Jalen Waddle was cleared to practice. If this kid is 100%, he is going to pose MAJOR prolems to OSU, as he would any team. Now, I don't even know if it is possible for him to be 100%. I don't think anybody does, but; I sure do hope that he gets a chance to play on 1/11. The kid is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! For those who haven't seen him:
  17. Hey, did you rock 'n' roll? Rock on Ooh, my soul Hey, did you boogie too, did ya? Hey, shout, summertime blues Jump up and down in my blue suede shoes Hey, did you rock 'n' roll? Rock on
  18. I guess that we will know soon enough.
  19. Thanks for this great post. Saban actually meets individually with eligible juniors and honestly tells them where they are projected to go in the draft by numerous good sources. He often tells them to enter the draft, but I don't know how many people believe this. He fully supported Tua leaving because he knew how much guaranteed money he would have been passing up. We got very lucky with 3 star Mac Jones. A surprising number of players enter early forthe draft (and even the transfer portal) and are not selected. They mention this every now and then on Sirius ESPNU.
  20. The above is 100% true. It will be intresting to see what happens with Jalen Waddle in 2021. Jalen is every bit as dangerous as Davonta Smith. I'm serious. He is a full step faster and has better moves. Davonta has better hands and jumps higher. Jalen suffered a pretty serious ankle injury and has missed most ot the season. If he was healthy, both of them would be top 10 picks. I am as sure of this as I can possibly be. I can't say how high he will go coming off an injury but if he stays in school and is healthy, Jalen will be the best non-quarterback in the NCAA and wide receiver or not, might even go first in the 2021 draft.
  21. Najee is a very tough player to rank. It is even hard to compare him to other backs, but I will try..... 1) He has the size of Eric Dickerson but not the blazing speed. 2) He doesn't have the power of Derrick Henry (who does), but has better moves. 3) He appears to be great at seeing holes ala Thurman but Thurman hit them faster. 4) He is a great and fearless blocker (much like Thurman). 5) He is a very hard worker, smart, and a calm kid. 6) He developed into an excellent receiver. He will go in the first round. Passing today is MUCH more important that running so it will probably be late first round. Would he be a good fit for the Bills? Think about it.....he would gain yards on the ground and in the air. He would also provide excellent blocking for Josh. To top it off, he was coached by Daboll. Will he be there when the Bills select? I don't think so because I see us winning the Super Bowl. Seriously. If he IS there when we pick, yes, I would consider him. There is a different Alabama player coming out who I consider to be a 100% perfect fit for the Bills. I will get into this more after the season. I hope that at least one of them is available at 32. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. I used to live in New York City Everything there was dark and dirty Outside my window was a steeple With a clock that always said twelve thirty Young girls are coming to the canyon And in the mornings I can see them walkin' I can no longer keep my blinds drawn And I can't keep myself from talkin'
  23. Sorry, the above comment, if serious, is utterly wrong and rather ridiculous. Davonta caught the National Title winning pass in 2018, in overtime no less. This year, he played against 11 SEC Teams and Notre Dame and nobody was able to stop him. Oh, and he did so after losing his partner Jalen Waddle, who is hurt, but will be a certain first round pick if he comes out. DS was just voted the AP Player of the Year. Citadel? C'mon, really. Don't be surprised if he wins the Heisman Trophy. Davonta will probably go in the top ten. He is a fantastic player and a great kid. Ruggs is faster but I prefer Davonta. Jeudy is great, but he has no quarterback of note. Imo he is one of the most talented receivers in the NFL. He is very different than Davonta, but I would have a hard time choosing between the two. Jeudy did say last year that Davonta had the best hands on the team. If you really do appreciate watching good young players, also keep your eye on Waddle. If he fully recovers from his injury he will be a superstar. Jmo, and happy New Year to you and yours!
