It can be hard to predict what will happen with your favorite team. That said, once or twice a year I'm "sure" about a particular game and almost never wrong. You are obviously correct, but; they are (imo) in a better position now than they would have been with Cousins. Not a better team mind you but now they appear to have some good players on defense, and will certainly be in a position to draft early and get a QB. Cousins might have been just good enough to keep them out of the loop in terms of drafting a top rated QB.

I am by no means a Clemson Fan but in the scenario described above, they would deserve it. The fact remains that Clemson is one of the top 3 teams in the country, if not the best. All of your points are valid. As I said, there are many factors involved. I didn't know that he was engaged, which could work for, or even against him singing with the Jets. His fiancée could possibly hate or crave NYC life. Now, her opinion has equal weight to his (if he is smart). If he gets married before he signs the contract, guess who is entitled to 1/2?

Fear is not what I feel. Having seen every play of his at Alabama, I strongly feel that he will be a very good quarterback. There of course will be a learning curve but this kid is mega talented, works very hard, and listens to his coaches. He is a GREAT kid and will avoid off field incidents imo.
