  1. You are probably right but I don't eliminate the possibility. Surtain is big for a corner and imo Minkah was a better player.
  2. Do you see an outside chance of Surtain going to as did Minkah Fitzpatrick?
  3. Is that you Liz?
  4. It's my own design It's my own remorse Help me to decide Help me make the most of freedom and of pleasure Nothing ever lasts forever Everybody wants to rule the world
  5. My daughter bought me Ancestory as some sort of gift. I let it lay around for a month or two, then; I followed the instructions and sent it in. Many huge surprises were forthcoming. I'm talkin' about major surprises. So big that she sent me 23 and me and it confirmed the first test. I am fine with the results that I got but wouldn't suggest it to anyone who feels that they may be deeply harmed emotionally if they get shocking results.
  6. I pondered this for a while. I predict that we will win the Super Bowl this season. If I was in Vegas I would make a decent bet on it, starting with next week's game, Chiefs or no Chiefs. The thing is, if we fall short, it will no longer be due to stupid moves from coaches or GMs. Funny isn't it how when you have good managament, a good quarterback, and good blocking you can even catch a lucky break once in a while? This team is a pleasure to watch. We don't even really have any needs that stick out. I even trust that our GM will be able to draft better than the elite posters on this board. For decades this was not the case. So ultimately, I will not be angry at the team, owner, GM, Coach, QB or anyone else if we fall short (which again, I don't expect to). This wonderful team is just a pleasure to watch, and nobody deserves victory more than Bills fans. Nobody. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. I drink myself of new-found pity Sitting alone in New York City And I don't know why Are we listening? Hymns of offering Have we eyes to see? Love is gathering All the words that I've been reading Have now started the act of bleeding Into one, into one So I walk up on high And I step to the edge To see my world below And I laugh at myself While the tears roll down 'Cause it's the world I've known It's the world I have known
  8. No, thank that utter disgrace of a GM Doug Whaley. Just another reason to bask in the happiness of having a real coach and a real GM.
  9. You must have had a great summer there in Atlanta.
  10. Told 'I'm I was gonna be a star But to do it I would have to go far away But I'd come back someday And take him away I'm on the Next plane to London Leavin' on runway number five Next plane to London And I'm missin' him, That baby Of mine.
  11. Where are you going now my love? Where will you be tomorrow? Will you bring me happiness? Will you bring me sorrow? Oh, the questions of a thousand dreams What you do and what you see Lover can you talk to me?
  12. I would consider Pittsburgh another very possible location for Mac to wind up at.
  13. I think that O'Brien will be a good fit. Saban hires coaches who will buy into his process. It's all cool.
  14. Some team is about to get VERY lucky. This kid is absolutely GREAT and is going to tear the NFL apart. He is only a half step slower than Ruggs, (the fastest man in the NFL) and has MUCH better moves. I mean WAY better. I have not seen a whole lot of receivers in my life that are harder to cover.
  15. Before I answer, let me just say that I am humbled that you would even ask my opinion. I admire and appreciate the work you do on the draft. I'll start from the beginning. Late last season, I was unimpressed with Mac. He threw 2 pick sixes against Auburn and really didn't look ready (to me). When we played Michigan in the bowl game, it was a different story, BUT; I had not seen enough of Mich. or the Big 10 as a whole to know how impressed to be. To take it a step further, I thought that he would begin this season as a starter, and lose the job to the #1 recruit in the country, freshman Bryce Young. Now, I will skip to this year. Mac made tremendous strides this year. The kid is very, very smart and is quick to see which receiver will NOT get open on a play, thus enabling him to find an open receiver (admittedly not a hard task at Alabama). He seems to have perfect timing as well. I have seen him on numerous occasions look as if he is pushing the ball into a small, specific target and do so with great accuracy. He does have something of a fastball, but we are spoiled by Josh . Trust me, it ain't THAT fast! He is not a runner but he has great feet in the pocket. He isn't afraid to take off and run when warranted, but he isn't that athletic and even needs to work on his slide. Now, I will make a comparison, but PLEASE don't misunderstand. I am ONLY talking style in the case of yes, Tom Brady. Like him or hate him, there is no qb who ever lived that can process the field like Brady. He can look off of a covered receiver in a second or 2 and WILL find an open man. Mac does this too but keep in mind, he does so with potential HOF receivers (Smith and Waddle), and a GREAT OL, this against college teams albeit great ones. A more realistic comparison would be Cousins. I think that Mac has a higher ceiling than Cousins, but nothing near the ceiling of Josh Allen. I think that he will go earlier than expected. If fact, I predict that Belichick will draft him. GB, I predict that the Bills will win the Super Bowl, so I am all but sure that he will be gone well before we draft in round 1. What do you think?
  16. Jones is VERY smart. Imo the only concern with him is his arm strength. He is in a good spot. I doubt if he will be drafted early enough to go to a bad team. He might even get drafted and sit for a while, just like he did in Bama. This will be interesting to watch.
  17. Is he smart?
  18. What do you think of Mac Jones? Do you think that he has enough arm for the NFL. This question is also meant for @YoloinOhio, @Willyville Guy and anyone else.
  19. As I walk this land of broken dreams I have visions of many things But happiness is just an illusion Filled with sadness and confusion What becomes of the broken hearted Who had love that's now departed I know I've got to find Some kind of peace of mind Maybe
  20. Nothin' can hold us and nothin' can keep us down And someday our names will be spread all over town We can get in while the getting is good So make it on your own, yeah, you know that you could Oh, oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh, oh We got to make the break 'Cause we got too much at stake Oh, we ain't got nothin' yet No, we ain't got nothin' yet
  21. GREAT post Badol!!! Receivers were taking their lives in their hands going over the middle in those days. Tatum and Atkinson on the Raiders were the equivalent of assasins. I clearly remember receivers jumping for an overthrown pass and getting speared in the back, legally. It amazes me that more of these old timers are not cripples. One full speed hit to a defenseless receiver from Ronnie Lott would seem to be enough to kill an average person.
  22. Thanks Yolo. OSU and Day have long, bright futures. Other than the obvious big 3, I think that Sark and Barmore stole the show. I never saw a couple of those motion plays and I watch every down of every game. As for Barmore, I truly don't know if we would have won without him. OSU did a great job at containing Will Anderson for most of the game. Barmore was just on fire. Both teams suffered far too many illnesses/injuries during this strange season and in and before this game. I hope that they all heal and return to 100% immediately.
  23. My father was born in Alabama and I watched gmes with him as a litle kid. I only wish he was alive to see this.
  24. Thanks to the Crimson Tide for providing me with happiness in these times of despair. I have all the faith in the world in the Buffalo Bills and am feeling nothing but positive vibes. The Bills, imo, are about to join the Tide as "winners in the world." GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
