  1. And btw, they do have a ridiculous advantage in terms of playing against very week competition and this doesn't please me, but they are obviously very good and very well coached.
  2. The spread should be 28. Take it from a Tide Fan. Last week I thought that Bama would win by 7 or maybe 10, and that 17 1/2 was a ridiculous number. It can be hard to predict what will happen with your favorite team. That said, once or twice a year I'm "sure" about a particular game and almost never wrong. I'm guessing that you know what I'm talking about.
  3. You are obviously correct, but; they are (imo) in a better position now than they would have been with Cousins. Not a better team mind you but now they appear to have some good players on defense, and will certainly be in a position to draft early and get a QB. Cousins might have been just good enough to keep them out of the loop in terms of drafting a top rated QB.
  4. This was an excellent premise for a thread CB. I don't think that I am in 100% agreement mind you, but I do see your point and it is valid imo.
  5. I am by no means a Clemson Fan but in the scenario described above, they would deserve it. The fact remains that Clemson is one of the top 3 teams in the country, if not the best. I have nothing against ND but in my very strong opinion, they do not belong in any conversation that involves Clemson, Alabama, and/or OSU. As always, jmo.
  6. I was thinking more of Jennifer Lopez because of the title of the OP.
  7. Is he there with Jenny?
  8. I was living like half a man Then i couldn't love but now i can You pick me up when i'm feeling sad More soul than i ever had Gonna love you every single night 'Cause i think you're too outta sight Oh darlin' I dream you often my pretty darlin' (darlin' you're so fine) I love the way soften my life with your love Your precious love uh huh huh
  9. And darling all, all I need Is just to hear you say You forgive me, Forgive me baby All, All I need, Is to have you touch my hand Say you understand baby
  10. All of your points are valid. As I said, there are many factors involved. I didn't know that he was engaged, which could work for, or even against him singing with the Jets. His fiancée could possibly hate or crave NYC life. Now, her opinion has equal weight to his (if he is smart). If he gets married before he signs the contract, guess who is entitled to 1/2?
  11. The Falcons would drop Ryan like a hot charcoal if they had a chance to get Trevor. He grew up close by and is the best prospect since John Elway. Btw, almost every team in the NFL would want to sign this kid. I could very easily be wrong, but I expect the Jets to "earn" the rights to him, and for him to sign. Doesn't the 1st pick get 35 million guaranteed? Yolo says that he is engaged; let's see how the new bride feels about him turning down this cash and going back to school. Yes, there are certainly many factors involved and perhaps I think too much about money, but I just can't see the kid saying no to 35 or so million and NYC endorsements. Jmo.
  12. Sweeten my coffee, with your morning kiss Soften my dreams, with your sighs Tell me you'll love me for a million years Then if it don't work out Then if it don't work out Then you can tell me goodbye.
  13. It wouldn't be the first time that Gilmore was dogging it. PS: I do hope that nobody here dares to suggest that drafting a defensive back in the top 10 is anything less than a splendid way to build a team.
  14. I must say, the post subject (Ever seen a ghost?) and your screen name do fit together rather well.
  15. There was love all around But I never heard it singing No, I never heard it at all Till there was you Then there was music and wonderful roses They tell me in sweet fragrant meadows Of dawn and dew There was love all around But I never heard it singing No, I never heard it at all Till there was you Till there was you
  16. The Crimson Tide just received a commitment to the 2021 class from Ga'Quincy McKinstry, cornerback, and the 2nd ranked prospect in the state of Alabama. The kid says it was a lifelong dream, and he is coming as we lose Surtain, and possibly Jobe who is unsung and playing well. Keep 'em coming, and ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/30192083/gaquincy-mckinstry-espn-no-38-overall-recruit-commits-alabama-crimson-tide
  17. You would need 10. I don't want to be too judgemental mind you, but yours would seem to be a sorry existence. I hope that you get better.
  18. You have something.....about 10 screen names.
  19. At his finest:
  20. Fear is not what I feel. Having seen every play of his at Alabama, I strongly feel that he will be a very good quarterback. There of course will be a learning curve but this kid is mega talented, works very hard, and listens to his coaches. He is a GREAT kid and will avoid off field incidents imo. I wish him utter success except when he is playing the Bills. I think that those who summarily dismiss him are making a big mistake, and I doubt that NFL GMs and coaches are doing the same. You sound like a Crimson Tide Fan. Is this where you got your screen name?
  21. For the love of money People will steal from their mother For the love of money People will rob their own brother For the love of money People can't even walk the street Because they never know who in the world they're gonna beat For that lean, mean, mean green Almighty dollar, money
  22. A betting system that I was to follow was this: Focus on divisional rivals. If the team that lost and didn't cover the first meeting is a home team underdog next time around, they are a play. If the 2nd meeting happens to be a Monday Night Game, double play. There were not many plays per season but the winning pct. was high. Therefore: Bills 31 Jets 24
  23. I don't know, maybe a billion dollars?
  24. Do the Jets have Quinnen lining up as a DE in a 3/4? It looked that way to me. If so, he would be much better as a penetrating DT, based on what I have seen from him at Alabama.
