Some day, yeah We'll put it together and we'll get it undone Some day When your head is much lighter Some day, yeah We'll walk in the rays of a beautiful sun Some day When the world is much brighter

Flores: Tua benched, not hurt
Bill from NYC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And your points are quite valid. I am a huge Crimson Tide Fan and agree that Trevor had an easy ride. Clemson has a pansy ass schedule no doubt, but I saw what he did against Alabama. The kid can play, and there is nothing at the QB position that he doesn't appear to be potentially great at. I am not saying that he will be better than Josh. Who knows? But greatness would not surprise me at all for a kid with this much size, speed, mobility, arm strength, instinct, and perhaps even intelligence. I don't know what else to look for in a QB. -

I agree with the above but respectfully disagree with your last sentence. Not every great college player is a sure thing in the NFL. There are too many avenues towards failure. As far as Trevor, he is said to be the best prospect since Elway in 1982. He has an insane amount of talent. If the Jets can keep it going and tank, the franchise will immediately increase in value. If he is as good as he would seem to be, he will eventually win games, perhaps even super bowls (as much as I dislike saying this). Playing in the NYC area could make him one of the most popular players in any sport IF he turns out to be great. QBs are even more important than they were in 1982. The Jets would be wise to tank. -
Oh yeah, one after another. The playoff drought was a mere coincidence. So true and the good news is the staggering amount of wins we gained while doing so, right?

The above is true. In any event, are you stating that Lawrence is not such a great prospect? -
Melinda was mine 'Til the time that I found her Holding Jim, loving him Then Sue came along, loved me strong That's what I thought Me and Sue, but that died too Don't know that I will But until I can find me The girl who'll stay And won't play games behind me I'll be what I am A solitary man, solitary man

Thanks Yolo. >>>>> Ohio State has a long way to go if they want to win in the playoffs and not a lot of time to get there.<<<<< I feel the same way about Alabama. Bryce Young finally got a decent amount of playing time and threw his first TD pass. This was HUGE imo. The thing is, the problems that I mentioned about the defense are real. Remember, they have 4 out of 5 new starters in the secondary, 5 out of 6 in the dime. Admittedly some are very good; Malachai Moore in particular has the potential to be sensational. Still, another injury or 2, let alone some illnesses could cripple us. I hope that both of our teams make the playoffs. 🙂

Guys, what is the story with the Big 10 this season? Other than of course Ohio State, are any of these teams good? And before you think I'm talking smack, let me openly say that the SEC is playing far below usual standards. Even Alabama is not that strong at the nose for the fist time in 10 or so seasons, and Waddle (the best non qb in the country) is injured and out. Sadly, I am not overly impressed with their pass rush either but it might be coming around. When Bama wins, their OL has a lot to do with it and the Bills just might be able to draft one of these great players. Anyway, from what little I see of the Big 10 it is hard for me to tell what is happening there. Any insight would be appreciated.

If she did that in a US federal prison she might be looking at 75 years for 5 counts. Prisoners are unable to give legal consent so this would equal 5 counts of forcible rape. I heard af a federal CO copping a plea to get 15 years for something similar, although it was a a male. Talk about not worth it!!!

Hear me out: We could very well win out
Bill from NYC replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For that matter, a super bowl win isn't out of the question. I feel like this season (in the NFL and college) a team doesn't need to be a dominant powerhouse to win it all. Too many variables with covid19. That said, the team that wins will need almost flawless execution, depth, and lucky breaks. This year, the Bills are talented enough to win it all. In a normal season this would be a bit more debateable but now we have a real shot. Obviously, the above is jmo. -

I'm not sure which 2 teams I would pick (Jags and someone else?) but this thread makes me proud to be a Bills Fan. We were irrelevant for decades and here we are on TSW, still with them through thick and thin. Even at our worst, our fan base made this team noticeable, and even profitable. I don't think that many NFL Fans would have put us on that list. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is Tua hype the new Darnold hype?
Bill from NYC replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And you might be right. That said, Fitz might also have thrown 3 picks and failed to deliver. It isn't as if this never happened. I think that many of us have (and I'm not sure why) lost sight of who Fitz is. He is a 38 year old journeyman while a good backup, smart player and nice guy. He is also completely limited. Even in his prime, he had to fully step into deep balls and even fastballs due to his servere lack on NFL quality arm strength. If he is/was as good many now profess him to be, why was he cut by just so many teams? I'm sorry, I suppose I have too many game killing interceptions that Fitz threw etched in my brain. -

Bill from NYC replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not even sure what the bolded means but "slow release?" He gets the ball out quicker that most experienced QBs in the NFL, this after 3 games. Don't get me wrong, he is far from a finished product, because ultimately he is still an inexperienced kid. I'm not going to compare him to Josh because it isn't fair. Josh is more experienced, is more physically gifted, and has better weapons. These things are pretty much beyond dispute. And Tua will have his struggles down the road, but quick release will not be one of them. Sure. Tua's ceiling is to be about as good as Fitz. Getting drafted in the top 5 after a major injury was just a fluke. Now I get it. -
What products do you absolutely stand by?
Bill from NYC replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Off the Wall
Dasani water. It costs too much but it is clearly superior to Poland Spring, etc. Not even close. It even looks cleaner. Jmo. -
