  1. I'm not surprised, whereas coach after coach comes to Alabama to boost or rebuild their careers, and it works. My guess is that Doug wants to get back into college football as a head coach. If so, Alabama could be a great stepping stone. They lost 3 OL starters but there is a lot of talent coming back, to include the top 2 recruits at offensive tackle. It will be interesting to see if he gets along with Saban, but my guess is that he will. He has to know what he is stepping into. https://www.al.com/alabamafootball/2021/01/what-alabama-is-getting-in-offensive-line-coach-doug-marrone.html
  2. Annabella Sciorra was very good.
  3. I like the Bills without points. If the Bills were the favorite in this game, I would bet them. I am THAT sure that they are going to win and imo it won't be a close game. I also think that GB will kick ass minus the points. Buffalo Bills vs. GB Superbowl. Please (not that anyone would) don't bet this game based on what I think, if at all. The purpose of this post is to see who YOU like. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. You say you'll be mine, girl 'Til the end of time These days, such a kind girl Seems so hard to find Someday, when we're dreaming Deep in love, not a lot to say Then we will remember Things we said today
  5. https://www.rollbamaroll.com/2016/8/1/12339910/2016-alabama-unit-previews-cornerback I guess much depends on whether or not you consider a niclel back a corner of a safety. Either way, he was one great player.
  6. Just a bit of trivia....the only opposing pitcher to ever beat him in high school baseball was a man named Ken Stabler.
  7. It amazes me that you remember this stuff. 😲👍 That Raider team was GREAT. I was just a kid and the Raiders vs. Vikings Super Bowl was the biggest bet I have ever made in my life, even to this day. The Raiders were only minus 4 1/2, and they were twice the size of the Vikes. Their receivers were fantastic (including TE Dave Casper) and the had what just might have been the best OL of all time. Stabler was the perfect QB for this bunch of psychos too. Opposing receivers were scared for their life to go over the middle against Tatum and Atkinson. Stabler wrote in his book that he was actually a bit scared of a few of his teammates. Were they as good as the Steelers? Nah, the Steelers were a complete, perfect team, but I really am glad that this Raider team got to win a Super Bowl!!!
  8. I like it because it is funny. I don't find it one bit offensive.
  9. The fans too are sure to be outraged. As I have said before, the only way they can make this work is if it involved getting Trevor Lawrence, and Houston doesn't have the draft capital to toss into the mix along with Watson. And CT, I know that a case can be made that it would be dumb ever to trade a proven QB for a draft pick. Still, in this case Lawrence would be an even bigger draw than Watson. If he is good the franchise will skyrocket in value. Jmo, and as I said, Houston doesn't have enough to close that deal with Jax. I suppose nobody does.
  10. You are probably right but I don't eliminate the possibility. Surtain is big for a corner and imo Minkah was a better player.
  11. Do you see an outside chance of Surtain going to as did Minkah Fitzpatrick?
  12. Is that you Liz?
  13. It's my own design It's my own remorse Help me to decide Help me make the most of freedom and of pleasure Nothing ever lasts forever Everybody wants to rule the world
  14. My daughter bought me Ancestory as some sort of gift. I let it lay around for a month or two, then; I followed the instructions and sent it in. Many huge surprises were forthcoming. I'm talkin' about major surprises. So big that she sent me 23 and me and it confirmed the first test. I am fine with the results that I got but wouldn't suggest it to anyone who feels that they may be deeply harmed emotionally if they get shocking results.
  15. I pondered this for a while. I predict that we will win the Super Bowl this season. If I was in Vegas I would make a decent bet on it, starting with next week's game, Chiefs or no Chiefs. The thing is, if we fall short, it will no longer be due to stupid moves from coaches or GMs. Funny isn't it how when you have good managament, a good quarterback, and good blocking you can even catch a lucky break once in a while? This team is a pleasure to watch. We don't even really have any needs that stick out. I even trust that our GM will be able to draft better than the elite posters on this board. For decades this was not the case. So ultimately, I will not be angry at the team, owner, GM, Coach, QB or anyone else if we fall short (which again, I don't expect to). This wonderful team is just a pleasure to watch, and nobody deserves victory more than Bills fans. Nobody. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. I drink myself of new-found pity Sitting alone in New York City And I don't know why Are we listening? Hymns of offering Have we eyes to see? Love is gathering All the words that I've been reading Have now started the act of bleeding Into one, into one So I walk up on high And I step to the edge To see my world below And I laugh at myself While the tears roll down 'Cause it's the world I've known It's the world I have known
  17. No, thank that utter disgrace of a GM Doug Whaley. Just another reason to bask in the happiness of having a real coach and a real GM.
  18. You must have had a great summer there in Atlanta.
  19. Told 'I'm I was gonna be a star But to do it I would have to go far away But I'd come back someday And take him away I'm on the Next plane to London Leavin' on runway number five Next plane to London And I'm missin' him, That baby Of mine.
  20. Where are you going now my love? Where will you be tomorrow? Will you bring me happiness? Will you bring me sorrow? Oh, the questions of a thousand dreams What you do and what you see Lover can you talk to me?
  21. I would consider Pittsburgh another very possible location for Mac to wind up at.
  22. I think that O'Brien will be a good fit. Saban hires coaches who will buy into his process. It's all cool.
  23. Some team is about to get VERY lucky. This kid is absolutely GREAT and is going to tear the NFL apart. He is only a half step slower than Ruggs, (the fastest man in the NFL) and has MUCH better moves. I mean WAY better. I have not seen a whole lot of receivers in my life that are harder to cover.
  24. Before I answer, let me just say that I am humbled that you would even ask my opinion. I admire and appreciate the work you do on the draft. I'll start from the beginning. Late last season, I was unimpressed with Mac. He threw 2 pick sixes against Auburn and really didn't look ready (to me). When we played Michigan in the bowl game, it was a different story, BUT; I had not seen enough of Mich. or the Big 10 as a whole to know how impressed to be. To take it a step further, I thought that he would begin this season as a starter, and lose the job to the #1 recruit in the country, freshman Bryce Young. Now, I will skip to this year. Mac made tremendous strides this year. The kid is very, very smart and is quick to see which receiver will NOT get open on a play, thus enabling him to find an open receiver (admittedly not a hard task at Alabama). He seems to have perfect timing as well. I have seen him on numerous occasions look as if he is pushing the ball into a small, specific target and do so with great accuracy. He does have something of a fastball, but we are spoiled by Josh . Trust me, it ain't THAT fast! He is not a runner but he has great feet in the pocket. He isn't afraid to take off and run when warranted, but he isn't that athletic and even needs to work on his slide. Now, I will make a comparison, but PLEASE don't misunderstand. I am ONLY talking style in the case of yes, Tom Brady. Like him or hate him, there is no qb who ever lived that can process the field like Brady. He can look off of a covered receiver in a second or 2 and WILL find an open man. Mac does this too but keep in mind, he does so with potential HOF receivers (Smith and Waddle), and a GREAT OL, this against college teams albeit great ones. A more realistic comparison would be Cousins. I think that Mac has a higher ceiling than Cousins, but nothing near the ceiling of Josh Allen. I think that he will go earlier than expected. If fact, I predict that Belichick will draft him. GB, I predict that the Bills will win the Super Bowl, so I am all but sure that he will be gone well before we draft in round 1. What do you think?
