  1. Sitting in a transit all night long Playing clubs and rocking right on The road's much too long since I've been wasting my time Wish I was home again sipping my wine And I'm gone, gone, gone, I don't care Cause I'm gone, gone, gone, I don't care It's where I'm from, I'm on the road again
  2. From my untrained eye he played like a safety against Alabama. He made some pretty nice tackles.
  3. You Can dress in pink and blue just like a child And in a yellow taxi turn to me and smile We'll be there in just a while If you follow me Me babe, steppin' out Into the night Into the light You babe, steppin' out Into the night Into the light
  4. That is an excellent point. If any of the numerous allegations against Watson are true, maybe we will see who the NFL is more concerned about alienating: dog lovers or women. PS: For the record, I believe that it shouldn't come down to this. It would be pretty cool if right and wrong entered into the equation.
  5. Love is so surprising Opened up my eyes and You reached out and took my hand Baby you touched a-my soul now Woman don't let go now Hold on baby just a little bit tighter
  6. I fully agree, and as much as I like Najee, he is not my first choice when we select. That said, he IS a great athlete. As big as he is, he leaps over defenders. He has great moves, is an excellent blocker, and really can catch. The only thing that he lacks is that extra step in terms of top end speed. Your comment about the number of carries is however something to seriously consider. I won't be mad if we select him but once again, I would prefer a blocker. Jmo.
  7. Dressed myself in green I went down to the sea Try to see what's going down Maybe read between the lines Had a feeling I was falling, falling, falling Turned around to see Heard a voice calling, calling, calling You was comin after me Back to me I had to move Really had to move That's why if you please I am on my bended knees Bertha don't you come around here anymore
  8. Eric's lead at 1:51. Clapton, Winwood, and Trucks. Just great music.
  9. Everybody's trembling and running around Picking up their money, tearing the tepee down Foreman wants a penny about to go insane Trying to get the workers out the way of the train Engineer blowing the whistle loud and long Can't stop the train, gotta let it roll on
  10. OK but past results indicate that it would probably result in a losing season.
  11. Thanks for this. Maybe my pessimism is the based on same reasons as those who are skeptical about Mac Jones. Both of them made it look easy but they played on great teams, and neither was a starter for a long period of time (1 year for Mac). I already had quite a bit of respect for OSU but it really did increase this season. They played Alabama with some important players missing and fought until the end. They will be a force for many years. Perhaps I fell into the trap of thinking that it's easy to go to one of these schools and excel. It helps, but it isn't that simple. I look forward to seeing what Fields will do in the NFL.
  12. When lonely days turn to lonely nights You take a trip to the city lights And take the long way home Take the long way home You never see what you want to see Forever playing to the gallery You take the long way home Take the long way home
  13. I am not sure what to think about Fields. I don't want to offend you Yolo but my instinctive reaction is that he is not all that good. I AM sure about how good OSU is. Fields? Not as much. I would appreciate learning your opinion of him. I think that when one watches every game and every play of a college kid, their opinion is worth some weight.
  14. Your post is interesting and true, but I suspect that things have changed at least to some degree. In many of the really old sitcoms (Bewitched, Hazel, Leave it to Beaver, Dennis the Menace, Honeymooners), the husbands looked either older or dorky and the wives ranged from fairly hot or to somewhat attractive. I don't watch any current sitcoms but it seems that in movies, things are evening out to some degree. One advantage women have over men is that we are much easier to read than they are. Of course this would vary from person to person but it is a generalization that always made lots of sense to me. Of course, all of the above is jmo.
  15. The waiting is the hardest part Every day you see one more card You take it on faith, you take it to the heart The waiting is the hardest part
  16. If you read my post I made it a point not to attest to the veracity of this claim. That said, I find the scenario you describe (which I believe) to be both ironic and funny. It also does cast aspersions on just how poorly we drafted in those days. A 12 year old kid with a copy of Pro Football Weekly would have known not to draft Parrish. Remember, even though he was a second rounder, he was our first pick in that particular draft. Beane has made a glaring error or two, but it does feel great to have a professional GM with a clue, let alone an owner who lets him do his job. 👍
  17. It wouldn't surprise me if much of his success was due to playing alongside Pitts.
  18. I don't know if this is true, but I remember hearing that while in Buffalo he opened his door, saw snow, and ran back inside.
  19. Alex Leatherwood. In some drafts he would be a top 10 pick. This year happens to be loaded with OL talent or so it seems.
  20. Is he Roscoe Parrish Part II?
  21. Barmore was picked at 29.
  22. I saw another video of Henry standing on one foot and practice pushing NFL players away from him. He is one of the strongest players in the NFL at any size.
  23. While I would be OK with Harris, I am hoping for one of 2 different players. I won't post their names untl they are selected.
