  1. I run for the bus, dear, While riding I think of us, dear, I say a little prayer for you At work I just take time And all through my coffee break-time, I say a little prayer for you Forever, and ever, (You'll stay in my heart and I will love you) (Forever) Forever, and ever, (We never will part Oh, how I love you) (Together) Together, forever, (That's how it must be To live without you) Would only mean heartbreak for me
  2. He would have started at Left Guard at one point.
  3. Does anyone remember an OG Marcus Spriggs? I truly believe that he was one of the worst players in the history of the NFL. I don't know how in the world he got drafted. I saw a game in which he was beat on virtually every play. I mean physically abused over and over. In one game, RJ was the quarterback and he was hit at least 3 seconds after the ball was released. He was laying on the turf, bleeding. Not only would Spriggs not retaliate, he didn't even offer a hand to help him up. The Bills OL was so bad in those days that horrible players actually saw playing time. Spriggs, Pucillo, Pennington,Merz, and so many more. The Bills management didn't care either. Their way of helping was to draft (and sign as free agents) defensive backs, and this before the rule changes made it a passing league. I don't think there will ever be an NFL franchise that is run as poorly ever again.
  4. Nah lol.....too early for Najee.
  5. He was, because we were busy trying to convince ourselves that Jason Peters was an undeserving ingrate and not one of the greatest players to ever have worn a Bills uniform. It made it seem excusable to trade away a future hall of fame left tackle, and many pretended that the trade made sense and wasn't such an idiotic move.
  6. I felt bad for the guy. He was getting crushed on every play and it seemed as if lives were be placed in jeopardy on virtually every play. Defenders were putting unobstructed hits on our players. But we had a "good" secondary.
  7. Or Greg Jerman. Remember him? He was a free agent LT from the Dolphins. I watched him and actually was worried that he would get somebody killed out there.
  8. Great post, and as you can guess I was happy to see the defensive backs on the list. It is of course possible to draft a good db in later rounds! This closest I can come to a sleeper from Alabama would be TE Miller Forristall. The guy looks like a movie actor but fights like a tiger on every play. He sneaks his way open consistently, but of course a case could be made that teams were busy covering the superstars on the Tide offense. Miller is a GREAT blocker on running and passing downs and can play on special teams. He has played through some injuries and is a very smart kid. I would place him in the 6th or 7th round, if not a UDFA.
  9. Another great thread! Here are a few (not necessarily in order): 1) Donte Whitner: The only thing he was good at was self promotion. He got jammed up in a domestic, tased at a club, held out before signing, and made 36 million real cap dollars. To this day I consider him the worst Bills draft pick ever, taking into account the players we passed on and the multiple trade offers Levy declined. When he got drafted I posted on TSW that he would set the franchise back 5 years. I underestimated the length of time. 2) Jerry Ostroski: Remember when he insisted on playing center? He was making 3 million per year when that was big money for an NFL guard. The problem was that he sucked. Defenders were sacking our QBs before he got out of his stance. 3) Not players but the combination of Levy/Jauron: Ivy League degrees and all, they were Rich Kotite level horrible, worse in terms of the draft. Looking back, we never had the slightest chance of winning with these 2 inadequate football men running the show.
  10. You have a date for half past eight tonight Some distant bell starts chimin' nine You wanna see her You wanna see her, oh yeah So you wait, you wait and wait Girl don't come
  11. Cigarette smoking 5 years 5 months and 21 days ago. I was a degenerate smoker. My now fiancee is allergic to smoke and I had a terrace apartment. I kept a snow shovel inside and shoveled a spot on the terrace so I could stand there and smoke in a full blown blizzard. If I can quit, anyone on Earth can. I am not going to lecture anybody, now or ever. I do however urge anyone who would like to stop to make an attempt to do so before it kills you. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. I know Bro and truly did appreciate the info. I was only trying to be funny.
  13. This was very good info; thank you for this. That said, I can't quite come to terms with the last sentence, ya know? 😮 😉
  14. Sitting here on the bench With my back against the fence Wonderin'-a-if I Have any sense Something tells me I'm a fool Let you treat me so cruel But nevertheless I say again you gotta be waiting
  15. I'm not so sure how necessary the bolded comment was.
  16. This concerns me to a degree. The Buffalo Bills proved to me that a team cannot stay lousy forever. The truth is that both the Jets and the Dolphins are in good positions for the future. I hope that we win multiple suoer bowls and do it soon.
  17. Good post! Just to pile on, there are no less than 5 highly rated quarterbacks in this draft which dramatically increases the value of picks. In another draft, Kellen Mond might be a first round pick. Here is the mere pittance that the Bills received for trading down from 8 to 16 in the 2013 draft. Of course we squandered the picks but that is another seperate issue. This year the price would at least double imo. In the deal, the Rams moved up to the No. 8 overall pick with Buffalo moving down to No. 16. The Bills received the Rams' second (No. 46 overall) and seventh-round (No. 222) choices in exchange, and the two sides swapped picks in the third round to get the deal done.
  18. Agreed. If we gave them our entire draft they would want additional first round picks. Not only that, I sense that there is no possible way that they would trade that far down.
  19. This is a slam dunk imo.
  20. I agree that they didn't get a huge return for Darnold. That said, why would they in a draft with just so many QBs and the #2 pick? Are the Panthers out of the QB race? I would say 99% chance yes, in terms of the apparent top 5. Would they take Mond from Texas A&M if he is there in the 2nd round? Maybe. I think that it would be a smart move (and btw an OK move by the Bills imho). I am probably going against the grain, but I think that the Panthers got the best of this deal by far. As always, jmo.
  21. This was not my experience. I got both shots at Walgreens. They were given by a pharmacist, not an RN. The woman was 100% professional; the shots were painless and the side effects were nothing but limited arm pain which went away quickly. There was no wait at all. I was completely satisfied.
