  1. I do not disagree with anything in the above post HBF. I am all for due process.
  2. How can I leave her How can I leave her, how can I Now that I've left your door Can't face her anymore I swore that I'd be true to her How can I leave her How can I leave her, how can I When my poor heart was down She raised me from the ground How can I leave her now for you
  3. I seriously doubt it. As I said, Alabama played against the best teams in college football, not second rate opponents.
  4. I ain't got time to think about money Or what it can buy (buyyy) And I ain't got time to sit down and wonder What makes a birdy fly (flyyy) And I don't have the time To think about, what makes a flower grow (makes a flower grow) And I never gave it second thought To where the river flows (Too busy thinkin' 'bout my baby) Oh, yeah And I ain't got time for nothin' else Oh yeah, yeah
  5. And again, I am not going to say that you are wrong. That said, if you ask me who I thought/think was a better player/NFL prospect: Patrick Surtain or Minkah Fitzpatrick, I would choose Minkah without a moment's hesitation. Jmo.
  6. Yes, and probably some form of addiction. It seems to me that Watson was making decisions. He did NOT want to go down the roads of Von Miller and Shady McCoy. They got bad press. Watson appears to have wanted powerless women that he could feel free to enjoy, abuse, and then dispose of. Again, open any newspaper and see what horrific things VERY powerful men are doing to women. In many circumstances, these women get little to no support, even from other women. As for posters on this board, maybe we should ask ourselves just how many allegations of sexual abuse/misconduct we could accumulate before we would get into very serious trouble. It just isn't fair what athletes and others in power can get away with.
  7. Yours is a VERY good description of Surtain. I am curious as to what his 40 time will be. It may not matter so much because he played and also practiced against the best receivers in the country. Still, when I watched Alabama it seemed as if some of the younger, returning dbs looked faster than Surtain (but of course I was not on the field with a stop watch). I agree with your assertion that Surtain playing safety in the NFL is not an impossibility. That said, @GunnerBilldisagrees with me on this matter and I for one place more weight on his opinion than I do my own.
  8. 100% Correct!!! Kyle Pitts reminds me of Kellen Winslow Sr. I know that it NEVER happens, but I would not be surprised if he is drafted in the top 5. The kid is that great!!!!!
  9. It said that we were through She found somebody new Oh, lemme think, lemme think What shall I do? Oh no, oh no, oh no no no no no. Remember Walking in the sand. Remember Walking hand in hand. Remember The night was so exciting. Remember Her smile was so inviting
  10. The solo by Jerry at approx. 8:50 was just so freaking great. Thank you.
  11. How do you think that he would have fared against an all SEC schedule, and playoff games against Notre Dame and Ohio State?
  12. The above is true. Still, the Bills are a cold weather team. So are the Jets and NE. Who knows what would have happened if we were better at rushing the passer, running, and stopping the run. For decades the Bills have placed far too much emphasis on defensive backs, often to the point of being just plain stupid. It really needs to stop at some point.
  13. No doubt!!!! I don't really remember them being the strength of the defense but looking back, they might have been. I continue to make the case that this doesn't occur that often and as we know, pass rush makes life easier for any secondary and much tougher for opposing QBs. Nice catch wrt the Seahawks!
  14. I don't think that there are that many top corners available this year, but I fully agree that if the Bills once again go down this road, they should trade down and get more picks. Even though doing this was a disaster last time around, it would still be the right move if we go in this rather awful direction.
  15. Maybe. I really do fully understand that the league is totally different these days, and the secondary is more important now. That said, I can't remember any championship teams on which the strength of their defense was the secondary, other than the Ken Stabler Raiders in 1977. Can you (or anyone else)? I fully admit that I suffer football PTSD due to dumb drafts that emphasised the secondary over any other position group including QB, and this includes McDermott. Our pass rush is not good and our best pass rusher is small and getting old. Josh needs more protection and more weapons. We renegotiated with Morse, but would you be surprised if he missed games this year due to his concussion problems? If he is proven to be healthy, I would like to see Landon Dickerson on the Buffalo Bills. He just might be the BPA when we pick. If we can shore up other positions first, I would probably be OK with a 3rd round DB. A first round DB would probably be a stupid pick imo. I would rather have a healthy Landon Dickerson or Alex Leatherwood. How about you?
  16. Thank God that you are better. Be well.
  17. I got my 1st shot on 2/16 and the 2nd on 3/16. Nothing but mild shoulder pain which is now gone unless I touch it. Edit: Moderna
  18. This was made during a time where the Dead split for a short time and went their own ways. Weir formerd a band called "Kingfish." I actually saw this band in a fairly small club. The lead singer/bass player was from the New Riders. I for one prefer the work Weir did with Kingfish over almost anything he did with the Dead.
  19. No, I really am sorry. If it means anything I made an appointment for 3/23 for a new pair of glasses. 👁️‍🗨️
  20. That makes total sense. I don't know if you remember this but I recall one season after he retired where the team was getting trounced week after week. We had no quarterback and even less blocking. The defense also needed lots of work. Levy was asked in an interview what he thought was wrong with the Bills and he said that "they needed help on special teams." 😲🙂
  21. You must be young. If you were around for Marv Levy you might have (God forbid) stroked out.
  22. Great move and NO.....NOT because he played for the Crimson Tide!!! I like it because then kid is if nothing else, a steady player. I'm also hoping that now we will draft 1 less defensive back. 😃
