  1. C'mon Bro, really? Yes, she might have a clue. I don't think that artists should cave into political pressure to cancel.
  2. If you ever feel sorrow For things you might have done With no hope for tomorrow In the setting of the sun And the ocean is howling Of things that might have been That last good morning sunrise Will be the brightest you've ever seen In the moonlight, in the midnight In the moonlight, midnight moonlight In the moonlight, in the midnight In the moonlight, midnight moonlight
  3. When compared to Alex Van Pelt, Trent Edwards looked like Tom Brady.
  4. OMG I was just about to ask the same question. He was a GREAT poster and I hope that he is OK!
  5. No but tbh I am not willing to cast blame upon Marrone. He has to go 2 levels up to get to Coach Saban. There are GREAT players (Latham and Brockemeyer) that could be playing on the OL, especially Latham at RT. O'Brien should be on the sidelines with Saban instead of up in the air. At this point I am totally unimpressed with O'Brien. Jmo.
  6. I will not shed tears if they take O'Brien. I don't despise him mind you but he is no Sark. This I can say for sure.
  7. If you leave me now You'll take away the biggest part of me Ooh-ooh, no, baby please don't go And if you leave me now You'll take away the very heart of me Ooh-ooh, no, baby please don't go Ooh-ooh, girl, I just want you to stay
  8. Alabama has to improve in virtualy every area to get near the palyoffs this season with their very young and injured team. I know this. Still, on behalf of Nick Saban, I would like to offer thanks and best wishes to the Purdue Boilermakers.
  9. Hey you (Get on up) Over there (Get on up) Get on up, now (Get on up) Don't go nowhere (Get on up) We gonna dance, dance, dance We gonna dance, dance, dance The boogaloo (Get on up) Too (Get on up)
  10. Agreed but I resent it when political lynch mobs want to force their opinions on others. Members of these mobs have their own crosses to bear, trust me.
  11. Perhaps, but Ralph was killing us with "cash to cap." Also, Levy as GM set us back for perhaps a decade.
  12. Our coaches had Schobel lining up so wide that he was near the sideline on some plays. It was sickening. They had Mario, a GREAT DE, dropping into coverage, and sometimes Dareus would be standing there doing jumping jacks at the LOS. He looked like a trained seal. I am glad that it appears as if the young fans will not have to suffer through the idiocy that we did. But we hung in there as fans, no?
  13. Imo Schobel and Mario were both virtually our entire pass rush when they were here. Jauron and Rex really screwed them up too imo. Maybe I'm just partial but I think that both of them were VERY good players.
  14. As i recall, we played Green Bay on Thanksgiving the year before we signed Bryce and he destroyed us. When we signed him I was jumping for joy. I remember Bruce saying that he told Bryce that if he kept it up, he would be the DPOY. Quite the compliment coming from an all time great. Bryce hit like a truck. He was as strong as an ox and would extend his long arms and make play after play before he got hurt. His sacks were particularly violent. You and I were at the game against the Colts where I couldn't believe Harbaugh survived. He took hits from Bryce, Bruce, and Hansen that could have killed him. As I recall he was sacked 6 times and took even more hits. I always respected Harbaugh as a badass after that game. He is one tough SOB.
  15. All of our tastes change from time to time, but I'm not quite sure how much better it gets than this:
  16. Daddy made whiskey and he made it well. Cost two dollars and it burned like hell. I cut hickory just to fire the still, Drink down a bottle and be ready to kill. Brown-eyed women and red grenadine, The bottle was dusty but the liquor was clean. Sound of the thunder with the rain pouring down, And it looks like the old man's, getting on.
  17. When my daughter (who is 1/2 Puerto Rican) was doing her undergrad at Dartmouth, she wrote a paper about how the movie "West Side Story" set back Puerto Rican women "20 - 30 years". She cited the character "Anita" saying how she liked it that Bernardo was alway so hot after a rumble (or words to that affect). Also, the fact that the ever so pure "Maria" was ready for sex with a man who just killed her brother. I would bet money that this outrageous scenario never happened in world history. Quite the contrary. Interestingly, she didn't think that the intent of the movie was to be offensive. The paper turned out to be something of a big deal at her school and her points above (along with other observations) were actually pretty tough to argue against. I mean really, a romp in the hay after I killed your brother? Yeah, OK. I had seen the movie numerous times and she had never brought up her views on it. I also admit that I never gave any thought to her valid claims before I read her paper. My question is, should "West Side Story" be cancelled? I think not. Despite the above, there was also a good message, however dated. But many folks have every right (imo) to be offended by this movie if they choose to. So, what should we do?
  18. You beat me to it Pooj!!!!! That would seem to be WAY more offensive (if you care to be offended) than Brown Sugar!!!!
  19. Absolutely! I once heard someone say that it is great idea to draft blockers and pass rushers.
  20. Please believe me, I am not defending Gruden. I initially sided with him just a bit until the rest of his comments were aired. I don't feel sorry for him either. I am 100% sure that he received quite the bonus package, unless there was a clause in his contract that would void it over e-mails he sent 6 or 7 years before he signed it. As I said in an earlier post, I never thought Gruden was terribly intelligent. Now, what you said about the world not being fair is beyond dispute. Yet, almost all of us do use "whataboutism" when it fits our narrative. Mine is simple: There are/were 2 state governors (no names, no parties) who have done things 100x worse than writing insensitive, even mean spirited e-mails about a few multi-millionaires, 7 years ago. But once again, I have no sympathy for Gruden and don't care that he stepped down. In fact, I lean closer to being glad. I do however think that is a sad state of affairs when a stupid jerk football coach is held to higher standards than our elected officials, so yes....to totally discard "whataboutism" really isn't so easy to do these days. JMO
  21. Do you wanna dance under the moonlight? Love me,girl, all through the night Baby, do you wanna dance?
  22. In the chilly hours and minutes of uncertainty, I want to be in the warm hold of your loving mind To feel you all around me And to take your hand, along the sand Ah, but I may as well try and catch the wind
  23. Champagne for breakfast with a Sherman in my hand Part hope part ales never fails Must have been a dream I don't believe where I've been Come on, we're gonna do it again Do you you, feel like I do? Do you you, feel like I do?
