  1. Blue's the colour of the sky-y, In the morning, when we rise, In the morning, when we rise. That's the time, that's the time, I love the best. Mellow is the feeling that I get, When I see her, m-hmm, When I see her, oh yeah. That's the time, that's the time, I love the best.
  2. Very smart move by a very smart GM. Barkley is on a team chock full of GREAT receivers, all of whom draw defenders away for the LOS. Barkley is such a sensenational back that he draws coverage away from the receiving corps. Now, add in the fact that they have the best OL in the NFL and you have a scoring machine, this with a very good, but non-superstar quarterback. The OL is SO good that on one 'tush push" play, OG Landon Dickerson pushed three yards beyond scrimage for an easy TD against the Chiefs. The deal is only for two years and most likely won't be renewed. Normally I would not like giving this kind of contract to a running back. In this case I can't find any fault in doing so.
  3. The caterpillar sheds his skin to find a butterfly within Caterpillar sheds his skin to find a butterfly within First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain, then there is First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain Oh Juanita, oh Juanita, oh Juanita, I call your name Oh, the snow will be a blinding sight to see as it lies on yonder hillside
  4. Old black water, keep on rollin' Mississippi moon, won't you keep on shinin' on me? Old black water, keep on rollin' Mississippi moon, won't you keep on shinin' on me?
  5. I think we should offer this season's 1st and 2nd round picks, and throw in a #2 from next year for good measure. I mean, how could we go wrong? You can't have too many corners. Just ask Marv Levy.
  6. And after the love is gone How could you lead me on? And not let me stay around After the love is gone What used to be right is wrong Can love that's lost be found?
  7. Wonderful advice. Sadly, most people do not know these truths.
  8. Thanks for your work!!! I will however say that if Jihad Campbell lasts until #48, lots of teams will be very sorry. This is one kid who vever stopped improving.
  9. I don't mind when the time, sets the sun to the moon I just don't want to be lonely Let the stairs find you there, at the end of the room I just don't want to be lonely I'd rather be loved and needed Depended on to give a love I can't give When you're gone, when you're gone I just don't want to be lonely I'd just rather be loved
  10. Langston Walker was a bad RT. Dockery was flat out terrible. I remember once the Bills were playing in the mud. The players were filthy except Walker. His uniform looked like it was dry cleaned. Walker even had some sort of weird TV video he would do. Dockery was much like Melvin Fowler. The both came in to a horrid Bills OL as free agents, and both looked as if they could play, but they stunk up the field.
  11. That is an extremely high ranking. i'm not going to argue the point but what I will say is that if depth is not added, the whole thing can rapidly fall apart. The Bills have to protect Josh at all costs. I never want to see the Bills return to the very long period of time where their OL just flat out sucked. Not ever.
  12. Come on everybody I say now let's play a game I betcha I can make a rhyme Out of anybody's name The first letter of the name I treat it like it wasn't there But a "B" or an "F" Or an "M" will appear
  13. Wow, hello DCT!!! I hope that all is well!!!!! 👍
  14. I think it is better to stay single than it is to get married and then get divorced. The problem with this is that there is a 50% chance that you will in fact get divorced. The odds on a divorce from your second marriage then skyrocket well beyond that 50%. What surprises many people is that most divorcees do NOT trade up. I also think that being in a marriage that is honest and 100% equal is better than being single for you entire life. Don't get me wrong. I got married at 28 and had some unforgettable, excellent nights when I was single. Still, great relationships are a wonderful thing. This is a good thread but I think that a divorce thread would be even more interesting, and of good use to those contemplating marriage. They might learn behaviors to both look for in a possible spouse and personal behavior to avoid. They would also undoubtably read a horror story or two, or dozens of them.
  15. I disagree. If for instance his wife is making his life miserable, this means more than playing football 3,000 milies from home (if there is an option). Should he put his foot down if she makes it an issue and demand a divorce? And again,, we are talking about six years down the road.
  16. If he gives us six years it's cool with me. His wife might insist on it. He might have kids by then and they may want to raise them close to the families. This means more than how much we like the Bills. Hopefully at some point Josh and the Bills won't have to field a team against Taylor Swift.
  17. Isn't he under contract through 2028? After that the Bills could franchise him for another two years. Please someone correct me if I am wrong but if I have this right, I refuse to worry about what might happen with Josh Allen six years from now.
  18. My father didn't know the meaning of the word He disrespected Mama and treated us like dirt I left home seeking a job that I never did find Depressed and down-hearted, I took to Cloud Nine I'm doing fine, up here on Cloud Nine Listen, one more time I'm doing fine, up here on Cloud Nine
  19. Don't let the day get the better of you When the evening comes, there's so much to do! You'd better put on your best and wear a smile Come along with me a while 'cause I tell you I know a place Where the music is fine and the lights are always low! I know a place Where we can go
  20. I partially agree. Jumbo Elliot got into trouble when he was on the Jets. He and three other people destroyed a bar in Long Beach. https://nypost.com/1999/07/11/unnecessary-roughness-by-jets-trio/ Let's just say that I am also aware of a couple of lesser unreported incidents. That said, several years ago I sat with him at a coffee shop which he owned, and spoke with him for approx. 30 minutes. He was 100% normal. He had lost at least 50 pounds. He donated money to the volunteer firefighters and owned 2 businesses in the community. He told me about how it was to play against Bruce Smith, and that he had coached Jason Peters when he was a udfa. When I commented how strong Peters was, he implied that he was stronger lol. Maybe he was. I'm certainly not a doctor, but I suspect that being off the roids (and almost certainly booze as well) contributed to this drastic change of behavior.
  21. I never believed that Martin was bullied. How many NFL left tackles are bullied? What I do believe is that Incognito is a thuggish, gigantic man with super strength who was roided out for many years. To this day I think that steroids are quite prevalent in the NFL. They are the elephant in the room that fans can't or won't see. Remember Jose Canseco anyone? In high school he was so shy that he barely spoke at all. Jose went from 195 lbs to 245 lbs and actually got faster. This once ever so shy person was then driving around well over 100 miles per hour and fooling around with Madonna (not a rarity for steroid users in those days lol). I think that Ruben Foster (for those who remember him) could have been an all time great linebacker, but off the field issues (and some injuries) screwed up his career. He was fast and extremely vicious, with super human strength. He was a predator on the field and a maniac off of it. Was he on steroids? All we can do is guess. I am not on an anti-steroid crusade. I wish the players well but I have no, nor do I want any control of what these players do to their bodies. The NFL is entertainment to me. I do however believe that untraceable steroid usage is still widespread in the NFL. Do I have any evidence to present? Of course not. That said, some of these off field incidents do raise a few eyebrows, to say the least. Of course, this is jmo.
  22. See the smile awaitin' in the kitchen Food cookin' and the plates for two Feel the arms that reach out to hold me In the evening, when the day is through Summer breeze makes me feel fine Blowin' through the jasmine in my mind Summer breeze makes me feel fine Blowin' through the jasmine in my mind
  23. I wonder how you're feeling There's ringing in my ears And no one to relate to 'cept the sea Who can I believe in? I'm kneeling on the floor There has to be a force Who do I phone? The stars are out and shining But all I really want to know Oh won't you show me the way, every day I want you to show me the way
  24. Yes, him. The best blocker who ever played in Buffalo. All teams have made some poor trades, but trading Jason Peters was easily one of the worst, dumbest trades in NFL history.
