  6. They do look too obvious, but imo it is better to pick against teams in a pool like this. It almost doesn't matter who they play. Combined, how many games will the Jets, Houston, and the Jags win this season? Going against them would appear to be quite safe imo.
  7. Gotcha! Wyoming has been playing with with fewer qbs all these years. Thanks for your help.
  8. Prayers continue. Get well #89! ❤️
  9. I would have released him!!!!!! JK
  10. Ole Miss. seems to be much better than they were last season and Alabama, while very talented, is certainly not as good as they were a year ago. That said, their defense is probably a little better. Overall, Alabama has better players and they are home. Their TE Billingsly was in Saban's doghouse and was demoted to 3rd string. They made peace and now he is getting open all over the field and scoring touchdowns. If he keeps his head together he is a certain NFL star imo. Bryce Young is cool and calm in the pocket and is able to escape from pressure but he is still inexperienced. The OL is strong. Thanks to Ohio State for Jameson Williams who ran back 2 kickoffs for TDs last week. Freshman JoJo Earle is ready to explode on punt returns and at WR. I stronly urge folks who like college football to watch this kid. He reminds me a little of Jaylen Waddle. The running back room is very deep if unspectacular. The DL is starting to come around with the return of LaBryan Ray. Freshman Jamil Burroughs is starting to see the field at nose and he is scary. The LBs are their strength even without the great Chris Allen (out for the season) and the secondary is deep and solid. Overall, I would not lay or take the points in this game. Kiffen is a gifted offensive coach and I truly believe that he wants to return to Alabama as head coach when Saban retires. I am positive that this game means the world to him. Fun Fact: Despite their tough schedule year after year, the last time the Crimson Tide did NOT have the lead in a game was 53 quarters ago. Prediction: Alabama 34 Ole Miss 28 As always, jmo.....
  11. I am having a problem understanding the above. Hey.....it is probably me. My question is: Didn't Wyoming also have QBs? Why is there not the same sample size?
  12. LOL!!! It doesn't surprise me that many fans (most for personal reasons to include jealousy and hate) are ready to declare that Mac, Jalen, and Tua are certain to be busts. The thing is, how did Fields look? How does Lawrence look so far? How about the wonder boy on the Jets who made a good throw on the run once and was compared to Favre? 🙄 My point is that it takes time to be a good NFL Quarterback. Is there even any doubt about this? I agree with @Buffalo716that yes, Coach Saban's primary concern is to win. This would lead to getting QBs who can mange games to his system, but; times do and have changed. Alabama has a QB now who resembles Russel Wilson. They also have a commit for 2022 (from a HS in Tennessee) who looks as if he can tear apart the SEC and the NFL. Good times ahead for the Tide as long as Saban is around.
  13. Did you omit Clemson intentionally or was it an accident?

  22. I would put Casper higher on this list. The running game was much more important in those days and Casper blocked like a left tackle. When they easily defeated the much smaller Vikings in the Super Bowl, he was just crushing defenders and the Raiders ran at will from the opening drive. Casper also had great hands and managed to get open. Stabler often used him in the way that Kelly used Metz, in that he would throw fastballs into the middle of his very wide upper body. These throws were very hard to defend in the end zone. Casper never had the numbers that many on this list had but again, running was at least twice as important. Now, despite the above tribute to Dave Casper, I never saw a better tight end than Gronk. Jmo.
  23. I really want to know you Really want to go with you Really want to show you Lord That it won't take long, my Lord (Hallelujah)
