  1. I think that GA looks better than Alabama right now but I will not count out Nick Saban until he is eliminated. That said, if he can overcome the HUGE losses on offense and win another title it will be his greatest coaching accomplishment ever imo.
  2. If they play Bama for the conference championship I would be quite hesitant to call it a cupcake/easy game. Is the Tide as good as last they were last season? No way. Cupcake? Not even close.
  3. Dressed myself in green I went down to the sea Try to see what's going down Try to read between the lines Had a feeling I was falling, falling, falling Turned around to see Heard a voice a-calling, calling, calling You was coming after me Back to me
  4. Glad I didn't waste my time with the GA/FLA game.
  5. Takin' my time, Usin' my line, Tryin' to decide what to do. Looks my my stop, Don't wanna get off, Got myself hung up on you. Seems to me, You don't want to talk about it. Seems to me, You just turn your pretty head and Walk Away
  6. Not for everybody, this is really old school......
  7. I'm not sure that there is or ever has been better guitar playing on any song than there is on "Free Bird," and this is comning from a 50 year Greatful Dead fan.
  8. Everybody is a star I can feel it when you shine on me I love you for who you are Not the one you feel you need to be Ever catch a falling star? Ain't no stopping 'til it's in the ground Everybody is a star One big circle goin' 'round and 'round
  9. They call me Hell They call me Stacey They call me her They call me Jane That's not my name That's not my name That's not my name That's not my name They call me 'quiet' But I'm a riot Mary-Jo-Lisa Always the same That's not my name That's not my name That's not my name That's not my name

  11. Never heard of this in NYC or L.I.
  12. Agreed wrt Incog. I don't count Wood as a guard. Levitre was excellent imo. He was not a mauler, but he got great angles on his blocks and was a LT in college which really helped him in pass protection, but remember; I was talking about 2 decades of guards lol! I know that @BADOLBILZ will remember how much I praised Levitre. Btw when the Bills refused to sign him as a ufa, his career seemed to fall apart. I suspect that he was hurt. Either way, it wound up being the right move. Those were tough times to be a Bills fan but we really stayed with them on this board. Going off topic a bit, do you remember Jairus Byrd? At one point he was intercepting passes seemingly at will. @BADOLBILZ posted that most of his interceptions were the result of lucky bounces and the board went NUTS defending Byrd. Nobody believed Badol. Well, the bounces stopped going his way, combined with some odd sounding injury and that was the end of him. This as I recall was when Levitre was here. Things like the above are the reason I don't complain so much these days. I remember all too well about bad guard play. I could probably list 20 guards we had that ranged from below average to flat out terrible. I am enjoying Bills games now! Super Bowl Bound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Sorry Bro. I'm not all that wise and nobody is perfect.
  14. In 2003, the Bills OL was a complete mess. We had pick #23. A guard named Eric Steinbach was sitting there. We passed him right up and selected Willis Magahee, a severely injured RB who sat out 1 year and 4 games before ever seeing the field. Steinbach had a long, very good career and was even able to play some LT when needed. Oh, and in 2008, we passed on some great blockers to draft McKelvin. It was an utter disgrace. Having lived through this, you will not hear many complaints from me about McBeane. He sure was!!! I was praising him week after week on this board GB. I had seen a couple of his college games and wanted the Bills to draft him. Too bad he got hurt.
  15. I am assuming that you are young. God bless you!!!!! If our current guards bother you, you should have seen the guards on this football team for more than 2 decades before McBeane. Ruben Brown was good. Aside from him it is hard to even remember 1 other good guard for at least 20 years. During this time we had a hand full of good OTs. One (Jason Peters) was GREAT and we promptly traded him away. If my suspicion about your age is true, I am truly glad that you didn't have to suffer through this. 👍 GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. At this point it sure looks like Mac Jones is clearly superior to the Jets QB.
  17. I wish, I could just make you turn around Turn around and see me cry There's so much I need to say to you so many reasons why You're the only one who really knew me at all So take a look at me now, well there's just an empty space And there's nothin' left here to remind me, just the memory of your face Now take a look at me now, 'cos there's just an empty space But to wait for you, is all I can do and that's what I've got to face
  18. Question: Why is Alec Baldwin thinking of becoming a photographer? Answer: Because he is very good at camera shoots.
  19. I respectfully disagree. If he knew or even suspected that Mahomes was a future HOF QB, he would not have traded him away imo.
  20. The trade turned out well, and this is a great thing. The odds of it turning out so well were poor and imo the success of the trade was random, not planned. Trading away from a HOF QB at 10 all the way down to 27 to draft a corner (however good) is not a strategy that is going to win you lots of football games. Looking back I am totally fine with what transpired. I was on this board and thrilled when the drafted Josh while many others were furious. That said, to think that our front office knew that far in advance that they were going to get Josh and he would turn out to be this great is quite silly imo. It's an interesting topic, but what really matters is that Josh is great and I think he will even improve!!!!! It's all good.
  21. Do you point guns that you guns that you think are empty at people? I suppose you could if the "safety office" says it's OK, right? The above I agree with.
  22. Agred. I am all but certain his main (if not only) concerns are: 1) Not going to jail. 2) Getting sued. 3) Will his career be effected? That said, have you seen his tweets about police officers taking innocent lives? These comments, calling numerous people "fa^^*ts," his evil tirade against his daughter, and of course HIS shooting will combine to follow him forever, although he probably won't care because he is an evil scumbag.
  23. I could have told you that! Again, this is the bottom line. There is nothing funny about guns. They were not made to be played with. Ironiic that something like this happened to this judgemental, evil p.o.s.
