Trees swayin' in the summer breeze Showin' off their silver leaves As we walked by Soft kisses on a summer's day Laughing all our cares away Just you and I

True. Like him or hate him, Saban is a sourceror. He has already won while ot having the best team.

From what little I have seen, your loss was a complete fluke and OSU looks better than Alabama at this point. The Tide defense IS improving and imo Will Anderson is the best player in the country but it is (as we know) an offensive sport. I have not given up on the Tide but the way they look at this point their chances aren't great. 2022 will be quite a different story imo.

Hang in there my friend. I hope the problem you face will be sorted out in a good way. And, fear not! The Bills used to win games as long as they meant nothing and assured us a worse draft pick. This game was a fluke and the Bills will win the Super Bowl. Good teams respond from a kick in the ass most of the time. We appreciate what you do here and trust me, I know that it entails a lot of work when you could be drinking and screaming like everyone else. It is however worth it because you promote discussion about a topic that means SO much.....at times TOO much to all of us and you are great at it. Hang tough and God bless.

Where are the freshmen? In the secondary?

@YoloinOhio @Willyville Guy How does this Buckeye team compare to last year's team? Obviously, Alabama was MUCH better last year. I think that the Tide defense is coming around but the offense lost too many stars to compensate. They are simply not as good as they were in 2020. I happen to think that the quality of play overall in the NCAA is down this season in terms of the talent level. I for one have not seen a player who I would draft ahead of Will Anderson, and he is a sophmore OLB. People mention Bryce Young as a contender for the Heismann. Is he as good as Mac Jones? I am going to say no way, at least not yet. I don't think that Buffalo716 (the scout) agrees with my assesment, but even the teams that improved (Mich., Mich St. to name 2) are not powerhouse teams imo. Now, look at Clemson. Even Oklahoma looks very beatable imo. I would love to know what you guys (and of course others) think!

You better think twice, About leaving me behind Make up your mind, About what you're gonna do You take my advice, Oh woman you got to choose Take a little time, You got nothing more to lose

I would not go that far. Dawkins is a good LT imo but he was awful today. Hard to know why.

I don't follow them closely enough to know what is wrong there, but their being so bad does puzzle me. Imo, Tennessee is easily one of the best and most beautiful states in America. It would seem to be a highly desireable university to attend. -
Can you believe that the NY Knicks offered Baldwin a contract? They say that he is a great foul shooter.

This might not be a popular thing to say but DWI is a crime that is often committed by men and women who did not, or don't as a rule commit other criminal acts. Many would be surprised at exactly who was/will be driving home after parties during the upcoming holiday season. Ma and Pa Legit will be all over our roads in December, tanked. Lots of these folks are also doing other things that would seem out of character after these parties. Alcohol is a very strange substance. Now, when a Crip gets locked up for a gang related shooting, do you think that he will almost always have a sheet full of prior serious crimes? The answer is of course he will! Crime is a part of everyday life to many people right here in this country. There is no reason to believe that Ruggs is one of these people. Now, the above doesn't help the family of the deceased, nor does it make what Ruggs did OK. He deserves to be punished and certainly will be. He is not a politician who can kill someone and get away with it.

Night and day Why is it so? That this longing for you Follows wherever I go In the roarin' traffic's boom In the silence of my lonely room I think of you

I completely respect your opinion but I am unable to see how you could arrive at it. When a person is intox they are sometimes unable to make a rational, planned decision, unlike for instance a divorced man who murders his ex wife because she screwed around, or he doesn't want to pay child support. Gang violence is another example. I am unable to place DUI in a class with the above offenses but as I said, I respect how you feel. On another note, people who read my posts know that I am an Alabama Fan and have been for decades. I must say that some Alabama players go off the rails when they get away from Coach Saban, who has all but complete control over these kids. Dareus and Reuben Foster are 2 great examples. If Foster kept his head on straight he would be the best ILB in the NFL by a wide margin imo. I never heard of any signs of Ruggs being a bad kid. What I DO see is that perhaps the fastest man in the NFL might have just taken a life and thrown away his own. Very sad indeed.

OK but do you think that a person in Rugg's situation deserves the same sentence as someone who intentionally murders someone? Or someone who rapes and murders a woman? I'm sure that I know your answer to both of these questions. I'm just pointing out that there are different degrees of murder, and this would seem to fall into the manslaughter category if it happened in NY. The intent was almost certainly not there and his prior record (whatever it happens to be) should surely be taken into account. That said, I pray for the victim and his or her family.

Agreed. I don't even count out LSU or Arkansas tbh. With last season's offense I would be yawning thinking about these games.
