  1. No, not at all. I don't hate UGA. Alabama was defeated by a better team. We were lucky to beat them in the SEC Title Game. And btw I am NOT making excuses for the injuries either. It might however be different this season.
  2. I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind. Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea All we do, crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind
  3. I see what you are saying but it would seem like a valid arrest. Depending on how the formula got into the car, and the length of time it was there a ( probably weak) case could be made for Reckless Endangerment of a Child. Perhaps even a charge of Petit Larceny? A stretch but not impossible. If sounds to me (without being there) that this might not have resulted in an arrest were it not a domestic. Most jurisdictions allow very little wiggle room for police officers on domestic cases. They actually want arrests in order to not be held responsible for further violence and successfully sued. The NYPD for many years was thrilled by domestic arrests, to the point that they didn't care (within some sense of reasonability) how much overtime a cop would make on one of these, even if it was pensionable. Offficers are even allowed, if not ordered to make an arrest if the complainant refuses to press charges in many instances. I don't have a crystal ball and I was not there, but I suspect the charges will be dropped against Jeudy and the complainant will ask the judge to do so. He will spend a few bucks for a lawyer and maybe, a temporary order of protection will be issued against him but probably not. Being a defense attorney on this case would be a dream job!!! Jmo.
  4. Btw was that really her posting on this board?
  5. No, 13-2 odds. 6.5 to 1. Come down from space.
  6. I got them winning the Super Bowl at 13-2.
  7. It certainly is and taking the formula is even worse imo however; if he was on the Bills the board would be flooded with defenses and excuses.
  8. Kyle Williams WAS a great draft choice. That said, look at the 4 duds the Bills drafted before him in 2006. I know, a case can be made that other teams also passed on Kyle but that isn't the point imo. I also believe that a certain amount of luck is involved. When the Bills passed on Mahomes to trade back 17 spots and draft a corner, it was plain stupidity. Am I happy with Allen? MORE than happy but they were very lucky. No team has perfect drafts but the Bills have lacked a good draft philosophy for decades. Do they have a good one now? I guess we will know soon enough. That is hard to argue with. At one point Rex had Dareus lined up behind scrimage and jumping up and down, flapping his arms. He looked like a big penguin. 😒
  9. Late yesterday night I saw a light shine from a window And as I looked again Your face came into sight I couldn't walk on Until you'd gone from your window I had to make you mine I knew you were the one Oh, I would be glad Just to have a love like that Oh, I would be true And I'd live my life for you
  10. Well, in NY (and I assume many other states), Desk Appearance Tickets cannot be given on domestic cases, meaning that you must get arraigned before a judge who either will set bail, release with no bail, or remand you pending trial.
  11. Walking through forests of palm tree apartments Scoff at the monkeys who live in their dark tents Down by the waterhole, drunk every Friday Eating their nuts, saving their raisins for Sunday Lions and tigers who wait in the shadows They're fast but they're lazy, and sleep in green meadows Well, let's bungle in the jungle Well, that's all right by me, yes Well, I'm a tiger when I want love But I'm a snake if we disagree
  12. I am a proud, charter member of that group. 🙂👍👌
  13. I don't want to live here no more, I don't want to stay Ain't gonna spend the rest of my life, Quietly fading away Games people play, You take take it or you leave it Things that they say Just don't make it right If I'm tellin' you the truth right now Do you believe it? Games people play in the middle of the night
  14. I'm not sure why. Perhaps he desires to put the past behind him and would rather be doing other things. There are many things going on in the country and the world today that (imo) are much more strange than a man wanting to go on with his life. Again, jmo.
  15. McCargo was drafted late in the 1st. They actually moved up to get him by coughing up early 2nd and 3rd round picks. Trust me, I was suffering that day. Back then I would allow myself to get insane on draft day when the Bills would routinely botch the draft. https://www.footballdb.com/teams/nfl/buffalo-bills/draft/2006
  16. Yes, it was in the same stupid 2006 draft. We walked into that draft with the #8, 2 early seconds and 2 early thirds. Those 5 picks resulted in Donte Whitner, John McCargo, Ashton Youboty, and Ko Simpson. This was Rich Kotite level idiocy.
  17. I appreciate your post and thank you for the insight. That said, I strongly disagree with the above. I am sure that Levy had more of a say as GM than you described. First of all, he brought in his clone in Dick Jauron. Together, they were two clueless men who had NO chance at winning, and I don't give a damn about their college degrees. My daughter is an Ivy League Grad too. I love her but would not want her running the Bills. Levy for many years stressed just how much he valued the secondary and special teams. The first thing he did as GM was devote the 2006 draft to the secondary (despite other glaring needs), trading away a premium draft pick while doing so. When our great players like Kelly, Andre, Bruce and Thurman were getting old, Marv (as coach) was not drafting their replacements, the Bills were drafting cornerbacks. Do you think that Marv had no say in this? During the season when we were so bad that we wound up with the #4 pick in the draft, a reporter asked Marv what he thought was wrong with the Bills. His reply: "special teams." Count me as one who believes that the Bills didn't reach those 4 super bowls because of Levy. I think that we reached them in spite of Levy. I am sorry if the above offends anyone but it is jmo, and I guess this is what we are here to express.
  18. I drink myself of new-found pity Sitting alone in New York City And I don't know why Don't know why So I walk up on high And I step to the edge To see my world below And I laugh at myself While the tears roll down 'Cause it's the world I have known Oh, it's the world I have known
  19. I don't know, Rooney rule type situation, or teams trying to feign an interest in order to look better in some way? If a team wanted him they had many years to hire him. The man is a proven failure as a GM.
  20. I hope that Whaley gets the job so there that there will be an idiot in the AFC, willing to trade away his best draft choices for little return. At draft time, Whaley was like an undisciplined kid in a candy store. Trading up for WR Watkins (on a team with no QB mind you) and giving away the store was really one of the dumbest moves I have ever seen by the Bills, and this is saying quite a bit. It rivals Levy turning down numerous big trade offers for the #8 pick (which he admitted receiving) and drafting Whitner. Whaley would make a good scout. He is NOT a good GM and if he was, there would have been at least a hint of interest in him many years ago. To each his or her own but I fail to see any basis to think that Whaley would be anything less than an awful GM, once again. Go get 'em Steelers!
  21. You keep your distance via the system of touch And gentle persuasion I'm lost in admiration, could I need you this much? Oh, you're wasting my time You're just, just, just wasting time Something happens and I'm head over heels I never find out until I'm head over heels Something happens and I'm head over heels Ah, don't take my heart, don't break my heart Don't, don't, don't throw it away
  22. I know of a person who was ordered to leave a bar. Would anyone care to offer an opinion?
