It's OK Bro. Bills Fans all have our own way to grieve. I don't know the person you are talking to but I'm sure that he will be OK in a few weeks. 😉 -

Provide you(r) own Hot Take Monday [edit]

For me, this game was marked more by sadness than anger. Maybe it's because I'm older; I'm not so sure. What made it worse is that I was NOT haunted by that aura of "same old Bills," in that I really did expect them to hang on. After the last GREAT TD pass by Allen, I ran upstairs and was hugging my fiancee, yelling "Super Bowl." The sadness and pain that I feel is not primarily self centered. It isn't even centered on Josh Allen either. At the rate he is going he is sure to be one of the all time greats, and will make hundreds of millions of dollars. The world is his. My sorrow is for the Bills Fans in general but especially those on TSW. So many of us have so many quirks but we are legit. Look at the thought, time, money, and effort we have put into being Bills fans! My crew and I were checking the weather in OP for next week during the game. Yes, the Super Bowl was ours, or so I thought. I am going to stick to my guns, now more than ever. I NEVER thought I would see a QB this great on the Bills. He is easily even better than Kelly. Protecting him and providing him with more and better weapons should be our top priorities!!!!! Will they be? I just don't know. They just might focus on the secondary but no matter what they do, I will still cheer for them!!! In any event Bills Fans, walk tall. Many, many years ago, @SDSposted that he is more of a fan of Bills Fans than he is of the Bills. Seriously, this comment could really be 15 years old but I never forgot it, and I agree. Somehow, some day, we will get there. NOBODY deserves it more than us. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- 70 replies

I don't mind when you say, that you're goin' away I just don't want to be lonely And I don't care of you share, only moments a day I just don't want to be lonely (Just don't want to be lonely)

I only saw a little bit of you tube video on him but he looks really strong and pretty quick. It seems as if he played RG before moving to LT, and he looks like he could be a GREAT guard. This of course is NOT to say that he woudn't be a good tackle!

Just saw this on NFL.com, and I must admit that it was poorly written and obviously not edited. The writer claims that Neal will go first, but he does not list him as his favorite OT. Btw, do you know much about the OT from Northern Iowa? https://www.nfl.com/news/daniel-jeremiah-2022-nfl-mock-draft-1-0-kenny-pickett-malik-willis-among-3-qbs

As I said, I will be more descriptive of Neal and other Crimson Tide players as we get closer to the draft.
-
Steve Serby of the NY Post predicted that he goes to Jax at #1. I agree because his potential is sky high. He coiuld possibly turn out to be a RT of Erik Williams proportions (best that I ever have ever seen) or Orlando Pace at LT (also the best I have ever seen). When the draft comes closer, I will rate all of the Alabama draft eligible players. That said, I cannot begin to imagine how Jax could pass up on an opportunity to have this kid protect Trevor Lawrence.
-
Did you forget about Evan Neal? He might even go at #1 imo.

I know I need a small vacation But it don't look like rain And if it snows that stretch down south Won't ever stand the strain And I need you more than want you And I want you for all time And the Wichita lineman Is still on the line

Everybody's trembling and running around Picking up their money, tearing the tepee down Foreman wants a penny about to go insane Trying to get the workers out the way of the train Engineer blowing the whistle loud and long Can't stop the train, gotta let it roll on

Actually, so do I. Perhaps even a strong feeling. I didn't mention them because Tony Montana only mentioned the Diaz brothers and 1 other oerson LOL.

Rock steady baby That's what I feel now Let's call this song exactly what it is Step and move your hips With a feeling from side to side Sit yourself down in your car And take a ride And while you're moving Rock steady Rock steady, baby

Bills 31 - Chiefs 15. Game is out of reach by mid 3rd Qtr. Then, we destroy the Bengals. Oh.....and in my best Tony Montana.....F*%k Green Bay and f%$k Tampa. We will kill those cockroaches. You make sense but remember, this seems to be a terrible draft for QBs.

We all need someone we can feed on And if you want it, well you can feed on me Take my arm, take my leg, Oh baby don't you take my head Yeah, we all need someone we can bleed on Yeah, and if you want it, baby, well you can bleed on me Yeah, we all need someone we can bleed on Yeah, yeah, and if you want it, baby, why don'cha bleed on me

Nine mile skid, on a ten mile ride, Hot as a pistol but cool inside Cat on a tin roof, dogs in a pile Nothin' left to do but smile, smile, smile Now he's gone, now he's gone, Lord he's gone, he's gone Like a steam locomotive, rollin' down the track He's gone, he's gone and nothin's gonna bring him back, he's gone
-
Upon the roof we heard the gentle rain With the rhythm of our heartbeats down it came As it hit each drop our hearts could feel the pain No one on earth can stop a drop of rain And the river gets wide, the river gets long now The water runs deep as our love gets strong now So baby, don't you fight and say you belong now To me

My take is that Josh Allen wasn't "good" or even "great." Josh Allen played at Hall of Fame, Superstar level, and he did so under those obscene weather conditions. It was as if nobody on the field even approached his level of pure skill and talent. He flicked his wrist on the run and made PERFECT throws. He threw fastballs for strikes when in the pocket. When he wanted to he put touch on some passes by putting a bit more air under them. Not enough? He ran like a combination of Thurman Thomas (in terms of seeing the hole), and a bigger, much stronger, maybe even faster Randall Cunningham. I could go on and on for 20 paragraphs and not run out of good things to say about this kid. I predicted a Super Bowl win before the season and I'm not backing down 1 inch. Right here and right now, we have the best QB in the NFL!!!!! GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bills are on their way to the Super Bowl. I said it before the season and I say it now. Josh Allen is nothing less than Hall of Fame caliber great!!!!! Also, I pray for the great, brave fans at this game. May they not get sick from this awful weather and make it home safe. Bills Fans are the greatest fans of any team in any sport. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it really is. In last year's draft, Trubisky would probably have been somewhere between the 8th to 11th QB selected. I kid you not. When Trubisky was drafted in 2017, he was the 2nd pick in the draft, and he was selected before Mahomes and Watson (2017 was also a bad year for QBs ater Mahomes and Watson). Trubisky was a disasterous, franchise killing draft selection of Dante Whitner proportion, but at least the Bears did try to bring in a QB. I hope that he does go to Indy so that they will not improve.
