  1. Oh, but now old friends they're acting strange And they shake their heads and they tell me that I've changed Well something's lost, but something's gained In living every day I've looked at life from both sides now From win and lose and still somehow It's life's illusions I recall I really don't know life at all
  2. I respectfully disagree. I make the case that due to Bosselli having such a short career, Willie Anderson was more deserving. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willie_Anderson_(American_football)
  3. Oh now I roll a stoney Well you can imitate everyone you know Yes you can imitate everyone you know I told you so, All I want is you Everything has got to be just like you want it to Because...
  4. A telephone so I could call a social worker.
  5. The wording in Rapoport's article is technically incorrect. Marrone was no longer the OL Coach at Alabama. In fact, a new OL Coach was already hired several days ago, Coach Wilford from Kentucky (unknown if related to Will). Marrone was already out before the new hire and word is in Alabama circles that Saban got rid of him. Btw, the 2021 Marrone coached Alabama OL was the worst I have seen in 10 or so years. Was it Marrone's fault? Not entirely. They lost Alex Leatherwood (1st round), Landon Dickerson (2nd round), and Deonta Brown (6th round). The thing is, he couldn't decide on center until he put in a sophmore after 9 or 10 games and the kid looked great. People wanted to know what took so long. Again, people claiming to have inside info say that Saban ousted Marrone. Now, do I know 100% for sure that Saban fired him? Obviously not lol. But again, I do know that another OL coach was already in place before this article.

Cherish is the word I use to describe All the feeling that I have hiding here for you inside You don't know how many times I've wished that I had told you You don't know how many times I've wished that I could hold you You don't know how many times I've wished that I could Mold you into someone who could Cherish me as much as I, cherish you
  8. Tbh, I have not seen enough of either of them to make a pertinent comment. I focus primarily on the SEC. I really do hope they avoid a DB in round one. Josh is GREAT and he needs and deserves more weapons and protection. If the top wrs are gone, there still might be some high quality offensive linemen left when we pick. If not, I hope that they trade out of the first round if they can get a suitable offer. I'm no expert, but I think that this draft is the worst one since perhaps 2013. As always, jmo.
  9. It has evolved no doubt but if this team doesn't protect Josh they are through.
  10. Wow.....one whole win per season!!! Thank you for making my point. 👍
  11. How many games did Gilmore win for the Bills? Oh yeah, how hard did he play? Gilmore was very talented but drafting him did not result in winning game for the Bills.
  12. I agree with the bolded. We have a great pair of safeties but all players get old and injured. Picking up a corner somewhere in the draft is also a sound idea. The Bills lucked out with the much maligned Wallace. I remember Calvin Ridley saying how he was a very solid player, and he practiced against him every day. I expected him to get drafted that year and was thrilled when the Bills picked him up as a UFA. That said, we are built around Josh Allen who I consider nothing less than great. He needs weapons and protection for us to have a chance at a title. As great as he is, he can't do it on his own and we really don't want him to get injured. McBeane has concentrated on defense to include passing on Mahomes; now is the time to help Josh. And btw, Wallace is a good, solid player. He works as hard as anyone GB. This man was actually a junior walk on at Bama, and played well enough to keep Trevon Diggs on the bench for a while. If he was not a good player, his contract value would not be estimated at 9 mil. Maybe they should find a way to keep him instead of buying another ticket to the first round defensive back merry go-round which never has and never will work for this team.
  13. This is correct Doc but drafting a first round corner (which an extrordinary amount of fans seem to actually want) doesn't automatically make him a good player. Leotis McKelvin (who took about 4 years to develop) says hi. 👍
  14. I agree but history books tell another sad story.
  15. Slow down, you move too fast You got to make the morning last Just kicking down the cobblestones Looking for fun and feeling groovy Ba da-da da-da da-da, feeling groovy Hello lamppost, what'cha knowing I've come to watch your flowers growin' Ain't you got no rhymes for me? 16. You don't need a master's degree from Harvard to know that he was outcoached in some of those Super Bowls. When Reed, Thomas, Kelly and Smith were getting older, Levy made little effort to replace them. He just kept drafting defensive backs in a league that was far more run oriented at the time. The team went straight downhill and Levy was reduced to standing next to Mauck and accompanying him in a screaming, spitting, foul mouthed, useless duet. I guess that you never noticed these trivial things. In any case, thanks so much for allowing me to post opinions on a message board. It matters.
  17. The above is obviously not going over very well. One can't blame Bills Fans for being sentimental and nostalgic at the menotion of Marv. That said, I've got your back. He was (imo) a so-so coach in every department other than soothing the egos of star players (which admittedly was important with those Super Bowl Bills teams). Now if you think he was average at best as a coach, think about just how awful he was as a GM. The 2006 draft was monumentally stupid. It was bad beyond comprehension, much like the hiring of Dick Jauron. Do you remember when he "promised" Nate Clements that he wouldn't use the franchise tag on him? Levy always seemed like a nice man and I give him credit for trying, but there are several posters on this board who would have drafted better players for the Bufalo Bills, and I mean this. Jmo.
  18. Burks is an excellent player and would be a perfect fit on the Bills. The question is will he last?
  19. He seems like a nice enough guy..... https://www.sportscasting.com/chiefs-oc-eric-bieniemys-troubling-rap-sheet-includes-a-disturbing-assault-charge-against-a-woman/
  20. Ooh, your love's for real now You know that your love is my love My love is your love Our love is here to stay What you find-ah What you feel now What you know-a To be real
  21. That is a very interesting suggestion. I do however wonder if teams would just tank sooner. I don't know.
  22. GB, if the Bills cannot get a big time receiver or blocker, I would be for trading out of round 1, although it might be hard to do for a good price. I want to watch a bit more of him on youtube, but from what I have seen, I like the wr from Arkansas quite a bit. What say you? Will he be gone early?
  23. I have a feeling that they will do well in less affluent neighborhoods. Williamsville (one of my favorite communities in the USA) is loaded with great places to eat. Even the fast food (Ted's and Anderson's) are top quality as far as fast food goes. I simply adore that community other than the snow at my age. I could stand the cold but the snow is too much for me. Pizza where I live is $27.00 for a specialty pie and going up. I am friends with a shop owner who told me that the price of his mozzarella has more than doubled and pizza boxes have tripled. I am sure that Pizza Hut does not face the same problems that he does as an individual store owner. Then again, who knows?
  24. After Williams was taken out of the Championship Game, he was walking so well on the sidelines that I thought he was coming back in. I'm talking about NO limp at all. In all honesty, I was not at all mad that he didn't return and risk his financial future on the game. I cannot say it enough.....the 2021 Alabama team was not even close to being as good as the 2020 team, which was better at every position except OLB. It was the best coaching job by Saban of his entire career imo. The 2022 team will be clearly superior 2021, but I doubt that it will be as good as 2020. On a seperate note, I consider this draft to be worse than we have seen in many years, other than OL and perhaps DL. Am I off base with this assumption?
