  1. If I trust in you Oh please Don't run and hide If I love you too Oh please Don't hurt my pride like her 'Cause I couldn't stand the pain And I Would be sad If our new love, was in vain
  2. I don't mind when you say That you're going away I just don't wanna be lonely And I don't care if we share Only moments a day I just don't wanna be lonely I'd rather be loved and needed Depended on to give a love I can't give when you're gone When you're gone I just don't want to be lonely I'd rather be loved
  3. Agreed! That really is a top 10 screen name imo, right up there with "Tortured Soul,""Pass the Pipe," and "Pills N Bills." 😂 The name "Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail" does a great job of encapsulating much of the absurdity of that era of the Bills. 👍
  4. I tend to agree with your assessment of Leaf, and I dare say that I am usually a pretty good judge of how legit (or not) people in his position are. Of course, it is hard to judge people without any personal contact, but this man does strike me as sincere. So btw does Hollywood Henderson. People like this are truly able to help others imo and the fact that they often do makes me very happy to see, along with respecting and thanking those that gave them another opportunity. I'm pretty sure that I will get blasted for saying this but I actually see a slight possibility that the "Son of Sam" is doing well, in terms of being sorry for his actions. Before anyone curses me out, I want to say that I do NOT want him to be released from prison, EVER. He actually turns down parole hearings and has stated that he belongs in prison. He claims to have found God and I hope that he has. I base the above on having read a very large number of books about Berkowitz and the Son of Sam case (which has always intrigued me). One of the shootings was 4 blocks from where I lived. The victim was paralyzed and recently died. For those at all interested, "The Ultimate Evil" by Maury Terry is a must read. Terry did 8 years of investigative research before writing this book and did encounter some danger along the way in. The way the NYPD handled this case was pure b.s., and I say this with a sense of sadness. Anyway, good post!!!
  5. OK, now I get it! This is why teams were tripping over themselves trying to sign him to the one of the huge deals that good QBs are now getting. Thanks! You sound like a fool with your head in the sand. I guss we will find out soon enough. As I said, I have been wrong before.
  6. I mean a quarterback who is incapable of leading a decent, or even good team to a .500 record. I don't even consider him to be almost as good as Cousins. Let me repeat.....I have been wrong before about QBs. I thought that RJ had the potential for greatness. RJ didn't have the head for the game but he was 2x as talented as Trubisky imo. Perhaps. I for one cannot picture this.
  7. I completely disagree and think that he is a second rate QB. If I am wrong it will not be the first time.
  8. Not me. I get all excited about the draft every year and almost always wind up being disappointed, if not utterly flabbergasted and disgusted. That said, McBeane drafts look like works of genius compared to Levy and every GM we have had since Polian and Butler. I guess this isn't saying much.
  9. Yes. We MUST hang on to Leotis. You can't let a great #11 draft pick like that slip away.
  10. Now I've been crying lately, Thinkin' about the world as it is Why must we go on hating, Why can't we live in bliss 'Cause out on the edge of darkness, There rides a Peace Train Oh Peace Train take this country, Come take me home again
  11. Not sure where you are going with this but I too wish him well.
  12. The thing is, Foster was not even very productive at Alabama. He only had 35 receptions for 389 yards in 4 seasons. To be fair, there were some injuries involved but Foster never cracked to starting lineup. This is not to say that college coaches do not make mistakes. Ohio State looked rather stupid by not playing Jameson Williams, thus losing him to Alabama where he flourished. Would Nick Saban make this sort of dumb mistake? I think not. Now, is Foster lightning fast? Yes of course but he is the prototype one trick pony. Think Lee Evans with FAR less moves (and he too was a one trick pony speedster). As a proud Crimson Tide Fan I wish Foster well, but would prefer a receiver who is more able to be consistently open. Jmo Bro. https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/robert-foster-1.html
  13. Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes They call me on and on across the universe Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letterbox They tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe Jai guru deva, om Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world
  14. Well, there's a brand new place I've found Where people go from miles around They come from everywhere And if you drop in there You might see anyone in town Goin' to a go-go (Everybody's) Goin' to a go-go (Come on now) Don't you want to go (Yeah)
  15. Lovely Rita, meter maid May I inquire discreetly When are you free to take some tea with me?
  16. Will this be the first woman that TBD posters don't criticise in this type of post?
  17. You make a great point there Harvey. I am NOT going to make excuses for this dumb decision but the truth is, Ridley was placed in foster care for years. His father abandoned the family and his mom was said to have issues. I'm not sure that he has a family member that he can trust or turn to. At Alabama, he (and other players) had Coach Saban to keep them under control. Ridley btw is an excellent player. I have seen comments saying that Alabama players tend to be overrated and play well because of the system and the talent around them. This is usually far from the truth. What admittedly IS a problem is how some of these kids handle themselves when they no longer have to answer to Saban. I have seen Saban toss the top college prospects in the country off the team if they act out. A kid named Antonio Alfano might have been the #1 rated player in H.S. at one point. He came to camp and lit it up in spring practice and the famous "A" Game. He started acting out and Saban threw him right off of the team. The truth is that if you get kicked off of the Crimson Tide, it is bound to cost you millions of dollars. I have been seeing FAR to many of these Alabama kids get weird when they get away from Saban and to the NFL, to include Ridley, Dareus, Ruggs, and Reuben Foster. All of them were headed for greatness and seemingly tossed it away. Do you remember Foster? I truly believe that he would have been the best LB in the NFL if he didn't get himself in all of that trouble. He could cover, he was lightning fast, strong as a bull and mean as a snake. Do we think that Fournette is a tough guy? He is but check this out.....

  20. Queens and Brooklyn are connected by land to Long Island. This map does not seem to indicate this.
  21. Agreed but I would much prefer a 1st round pick in 2023 to be part of the deal. Jmo.
  22. If they draft an OT, he doesn't necessarily have to start at LT as a rookie. I think that the Jags would be insane, and I am talking Marv Levy/Rich Kotite caliber idiots to not draft an OT to protect Trevor Lawrence, who is immensely talented. Can we pretend that he is not? Oh yeah, but the kid has Josh Allen type talent. Teams that fail to protect these kind of stars deserve the failure that certainly does await them.
  23. I will get into Neal and the other draft eligible players in a week or 2 as I do every year. I saw every snap that Neal ever played in at Alabama and have some strong opinions about him, Williams, Metchie, etc.
  24. It is, but I am all but sure that the first round will be much better in 2023. This draft reminds me just a bit of the one where we drafted EJ Manuel. I would love an extra first round pick in 23. Jmo. http://www.drafthistory.com/index.php/years/2013
