  1. I don't think there is any intention to attempt and injure an opposing player, IMO, they are just being more physical than the other team. Say what you want, they are producing right now and are the second best team in the NFL only to the Colts.
  2. You're right--just look at Denver's o-line. They are comprised of agile, average size men who get the job done.
  3. Bill Clinton??
  4. All you guys are jealous of this guy. I am 25 and constantly say that my future wife isn't even born yet. Props for this dude finding a hot, young, rich, famous girl who is going to look pretty good even when he turns 60.
  5. The movie "Coffee and Cigarettes" was filmed over the course of 3 decades and features 10 skits featuring musicians like The White Stripes, Iggy Pop, Tom Waits, and members of Wu-Tang Clan doing a skit with Bill Murray. Some of the skits are funny, others are just plain stupid. The movie Dead Man with Johnny Depp is pretty good however.
  6. Dogs is my fav Floyd song ever and Animals, IMO is so underrated.
  7. Cherry Popper and the Sorcerer's Bone
  8. She seems a little butch to me. I bet she wears underwear with dick holes.
  9. I have just started to drink Jack on the rocks because I found that I wasn't getting drunk off of drinking beer anymore.
  10. Lets not forget the absence of Milloy--IIRC, Baker got toasted on that long TD pass for the Raiders only TD.
  11. Although RP doesn't possess prototypical size for the WR position, he does possess world class speed and elusiveness and I think he is going to turn into a WR that is closer to the likes of a Steve Smith, just 15 lbs. lighter.
  12. Drew and his contract were expendable after Tom Brady showed the team that he could lead them just as good as any 10 year overpriced vet could. I'm sure Belicheck didn't want to get rid of Bledsoe, but with the elimination of his cap number they were free to spend that money elsewhere.
  13. Actually. that was Scott Boras 10 years, $252 million
  14. Just found these interesting tid bits of information courtesy of that same page: Stat Notes: Terrence McGee leads the NFL with a 34.6 kickoff return average, more than four yards better than the league’s second-best returner Williams Ponder of the New York Giants (30.1). The Bills defense remains first in passing yards allowed, yielding just 139 yards in the air through the first five games. First Down Stats: Buffalo has rushed the ball 67 times on first down this season and has averaged 4.22 yards per rush. Through the air the Bills have gained 3.37 yards per play on 57 first-down plays.
  15. When going into the stadium and passing the Crown Royal bus, we always place bets on what the over/under is on the amount of empty Crown bottles there are going to be displayed in front of the bus. It is usually at least 15.
  16. Joe D. lurks in the shadows in the back of McFadden's on Sundays.
  17. "We'll go with the rookie and we'll see what happens," Haslett said. Not alot of confidence there--he doesn't even know the rookies name.
  18. The Saints game is going to be a little harder than everyone thinks. Yes they are inconsistent and everyone thought they were destiny's team after Katrina. After a couple of losses to some mediocre teams, everyone thinks we are going to roll all over these guys. Our run D hasn't showed anything other than week 1 and they have Duece and all eyes are going to be on San Antonio as it is their first "home" game this year. It should be interesting.
  19. Lets see if the coaching staff can plug in guys like the Pats seem to do and never miss a beat. Granted, it is TKO and he is the heart and soul of the defense, but the Pats have lost Bruschi and now Harrison who (between the two of them) would constitute being a large part of their emotion and leadership on defense and I am sure they are going to acheive as they have in the past. With that said, I think that Crowell will rise to the occasion and play some inspired football knowing that he is not only filling in for the main cog on our defense, but also realising that this could be the only chance he gets to show the world what he's got.
  20. Look what happened to Ronald Curry out in Oak. He ruptured his achilles last year and then did the same thing this year.
  21. IMO, the return of Roscoe Parrish should help out in that category alot. Not only short routes on blitzes but also YAC which our recievers haven't been able to do when they have recieved a pass. I want to know why the dearth of screen passes to our RBs?
  22. Failed and multi-millionaire is oxymoronic
  23. Aaron Brooks at times, looks great in the pocket, even when the pocket breaks down he throws well on the run, but he makes stupid mistakes and contributed 4 turnovers himself last night. Their offensive line wasn't that great, Duece really couldn't find any holes and not much daylight. Their D was pourous although they held Tiki in check, for the most part. Giants recievers were getting open but Eli blows and couldn't make them pay. The game really wasn't as close as it was, Saints should have gotten beat but 30. It was under crazy circumstances and I'm sure that had a lot to do with plus when we go to San Antonio for their "home opener" it may be a frenzy. I don't know how this team beat the Panthers.
