Lance Bass of N'Sync reveals that he is gay
Phlegm Alley replied to ACor58's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Headline should've read: "Lance takes it in the B-ass." -
In the article itself, Porter even is wondering why they are asking for two #1's when he was drafted in the second round anyway. HE is even saying that HE isn't worth two #1's

Bought a Jersey Lately?
Phlegm Alley replied to HereComesTheReignAgain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just bought an authentic McGahee jersey on e-Bay for $40 plus shipping. It is the away jersey, which is ugly as hell, but at least I got an authentic without spending an arm and a leg. There are a few others left, so you guys can check it out for yourself. McGahee away authentic jersey -

Spikes not happy with Witner selection
Phlegm Alley replied to OnTheRocks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Plus he was becoming prone to injury. Remember LM also made a statement along the lines of "I can't feed my family with Super Bowl rings." I find that to be quite disturbing. -
Spikes not happy with Witner selection
Phlegm Alley replied to OnTheRocks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope it is Spikes just showing allegiance toward one of his friends (LM) on the defense. The guy is right though: Whitner should not be holding out, get his azz to camp, and prove these vets that he can run with the big boys. -
Update: We have power and the g/f just put on the AC. Thank you everyone for the concern

Yeah--this is just disurbing. Imagine how helpless Malarchuk felt when he takes his mask off and sees a pool of blood gushing from his neck. Someone should e-mail this to Clint and see if he gets "a little chuckle" out of it.

No backyard--I live in an apartment complex. I did get out this past weekend to go to Long Beach in Long Island to enjoy some quality Yeungling lager out of a kegerator, the beach, poker, golf, and grilling to help ease the pain and provide me with mindless entertainment and to help me take my mind off of my predicament. I think it just might be enough to hold me over.

NFLDraftCountdown.com '07 Round One Mock Up
Phlegm Alley replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're right. I'll retract my prediction. I think that we'll draft a RB before we draft a QB next year. That might be hard to do if we do have the 1st overall pick in the draft next year. Howver, I am an eternal optimist, and I believe the Bills won't finish with the worst record in the NFL. -
Really glad Simpson and Williams are signed

I want a CHuck Cecil-esque mentality playing centerfield for the Bills -
NFLDraftCountdown.com '07 Round One Mock Up
Phlegm Alley replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Everybody is talking about QB. What about RB?? Willis is probably NOT going to re-sign with the Bills, and its not like we have a Larry Johnson as a back-up to Priest Holmes or a Lamont Jordan as a backup to Curtis Martin waiting in the wings. I think our first pick next year will be a RB. -
It is one thing to have your power out due to a natural disaster--it is another thing when its negiligence against the utility that provides you with your power. Mayor Michael Bloomberg is calling for a criminal investigation against the utility and local councilmen and political leaders are asking for the CEO's resignation. Natural disasters are explainable and unpreventable. Living in South Florida, it comes with the territory. THis is something that could have, and should have been prevented.

Interesting article on special teams
Phlegm Alley replied to Typical TBD Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Could the cutting of Coy Wire and losing his abilities on ST be equivalent to us losing Pat Williams and the effect it had on our run defense? Maybe. I think you're right though: ST has been the lone bright spot for us recently and why would you fix something that isn't broken? -
I was reading that they had workers come in from Pennsylvania, NJ, and CT. They got guys working around the clock. I am beginning to feel it in the wallet too. I had to throw away EVERYTHING in the fridge and freezer. As a result, I have had to dine out on a daily basis. It is pretty boring. I have actually looked forward to coming into work for all the wrong reasons. At least I have internet access here.

During the peak of the heat wave in NY last week, my power went out Monday evening. I was thinking that it would be 24 hours tops because we had just set the record for energy used in a day. Boy was I wrong . We have been withour power since, and having entered week two of this debacle, we (my g/f and I) are one of the few thousand residents who hasn't had power restored. We just got our hot water back on Saturday evening. Link to recent article about the situation To make matters worse, Con-Ed says that they have been working dilligently in order to restore power, but here is an article that shows workers for the utility sleeping in their trucks. Con-Ed: Working hard, or hardly working?? I am pi$$ed. All of my food has spoiled, it is 120 degrees in my apartment, and it smells like hot salty garbage.

BUYING A CAR VIA EBAY FROM OUT OF STATE
Phlegm Alley replied to Talonz's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I had a friend buy a car on e-Bay. He went to pick it up and on his way home, the thing died. People will try to scam you on e-Bay. I saw somewhere that a guy had a picture of a PSP box. People thought he was selling the actual PSP player, but when you read the fine print, he stated he was selling the box only and not the player. Some dude bought a PSP box for $221 . -
I just went camping last weekend with a bunch of friends, and we listened to him. The guy was effin hilarious! He also does a great Ah'Nold, and Seinfeld with Kramer.

We played a similar prank on one of my buddies. We slapped a Backstreet Boys bumper sticker on the back of his car and he drove around unkowningly with it on there until his mother (of all people), about 3 weeks later, asked him how long he liked the Backstreet Boys for. I've also been on the shortend of some pranks as well, but prank wars can be real fun, as long as no one steps over the line!

Chat with "The Football Scientist"
Phlegm Alley replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You guys do remember that JP overthrew a wide open EM down the sidelines late in the game that would have given us the lead. JP has the touch of a rapist on his deep balls. -
BB was always a man with great field vision. I feel bad for his daughter. Not because of this, but because the poor girl looks exactly like her father.

More Bills throwback uniform proof??
Phlegm Alley replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I concur. The color combo of metallic powder blue, red, white, and the black shoes is much more appealing than our current barf on fabric uni's. -

I agree. WM also seems to be enjoying the props on the set. -
I only partied once in B'More and that was for the Preakness two years ago, so to answer your question: No. How is it?
