  1. Thank God I didn't pull the trigger. I am sitting on Gore for now-starting him next week actually becuase LT has a bye. Thanks for the imput.
  2. Did you really think that Marv Levy, the greatest coach in the history of our beloved franchise, would be a horrible hire??? Kudos to Ralph and his cronies for bringing in Marv. It is something that should of happened earlier.
  3. In defense of the Jests, they were playing from behind and were forced to abandon the run early in an attempt to generate some points.
  4. I, for one, didn't know T80's real name before this, however, we did share the mutual bond of enjoying BB football and NYY baseball to which we communicated extensively. He came of as being sharp, and eloquent with a wise sense of humor in many of his posts and I would look forward to reading what he had to say. However, it goes to show you that most of us will never know who that poster is that is writing and what kind of personal demons they have to deal with on a daily basis. This is why many are fortunate to have the TBD community, being able to post common knowledge and love of shared topics under the cloak of anonymity without worries of communal persecution with regard to their personal afflictions. I am not here to pass judgement. I am here to write about someone who WAS part of our on-line community and participated with thorough acute knowledge of similar interests. I pray for the well being of the three children along with family and those who knew these individuals personally and have to shoulder the burden of trying to make sense of why this had to happen. I know that if there was anything that I could have done to prevent this unfortunate occurence I would have done whatever I could. Everyone needs to stop passing judgment becuase they have no idea what would push this man to do the unspeakable thing that he did, nor are you in any position to persecute someone based on this passing knowledge that has been afforded to us at this time. My prayers and condolences to the family.
  5. That is tough, but I'd go with KJ only because Ahman Green had a really good game against a stout CHI defense and Droughns was just awful and going up against a pretty good CIN D. Good luck!
  6. I (semi)remember that game like it was yesterday. Boy was I drunk and hoarse after that one. It got over with during the halftime of the 4 o'clock games. We were 6-2 after the first 8 games that year, and I thought that we had a great defense and offense and that we had a good chance to make the playoffs. But then the second half of the season happened to Bledsoe.
  7. Not only that, but the stupid dolphin on the helmet who is wearing a helmet himself, doesn't have a logo on the helmet that he's wearing Stupid dolphags.
  8. I really don't think that Spikes is going to play--I want him to play but I don't want him to play if there is a possibility that the injury becomes worse. Remember last year when he said he knew that there was something wrong in his heel and that the injury could have been prevented. Also, I wouldn't mind the Defense playing some good ball and hopefully inspiring TKO to get back there and be the leader of a good young defense.
  9. I'm betting the house and the first born on the Bills this week who are getting a touchdown.
  10. McGee also wasn't returning too many kicks during the preseason and had some apparent rust at NE as a result of not having too many opportunities. I think this was a precaution as to not risk injuring one of the more intrical parts to our team even before the season began.
  11. I offered him Gore and Donald Driver for TO and Cedric Benson. I also offered him Gore and Roy Williams for TO straight up. I have crazy depth at RB with LT, Ronnie Brown, Chester Taylor and Fred Taylor. My WR are Holt, Roy Williams, Driver, Lee Evans, and E. Kennison. Would you guys do this? I really want to shore up my WR position with top talent and I think now is the time to sell Gore HIGH because his value isn't going to get any higher.
  12. Make some room for Ko. It is better to start him now while he is young so he can learn on the job.
  13. Lee Evans, Randy McMichael, Roy Williams. I still have a lead by 7 points though going into tnight with LT running and the Redskins D against the Vikes. I benched Driver for Evans (backfired), I benched Heath Miller for McMichael (huge backfire to the tune of 20 points). I got it all back with solid performances from McNabb (26pts) and Ronnie Brown (18pts). I feel sorry for anyone that had Plummer. I have never seen anyone get negative points before.
  14. One thing that was absen from the playbook yesterday was the PA pass. After we were ripping off big chunks of yards on the ground, I think we should have kept the LB honest by throwing in the play fake.
  15. "Two in the pink, one in the stink."
  16. I think we are inferior in these areas, however, we are superior in our LB core, secondary, WR and WR. I expect to see JP make some plays with his feet tomorrow, but still be composed, not like he's a deer in headlights.
  17. I got this off a FF site that gives game by game analysis for this week and this is what they had to say about the Buf @ NE: Buffalo at New England 1:00 p.m. Division rivals Buffalo and New England clash in Foxboro Sunday afternoon. When these two teams met for the first time at Gillette stadium last season, Willis McGahee tallied over 150 all-purpose yards but didn’t get into the end zone once. The Bills only scored 6 rushing touchdowns all season in 2005. With J.P. Losman under center this team will have to score on the ground if they want to contend in this game or this season for that matter. The Patriots are not as dominant as they once were, but are still the favorite in the AFC East until another team supplants them. Belichick and Brady remain united and Corey Dillon should be ready to go but questions at the WR position may plague this team in Week 1. With Deion Branch holding out and Reche Caldwell looking like, well, Reche Caldwell, the Pats traded with Oakland for Doug Gabriel. Even if Branch decides to end his holdout with the team, I doubt he would receive any playing time this week, which means the Patriots, will line up with Gabriel, Caldwell, rookie Chad Jackson and the ageless Troy Brown at WR. While Brady is excellent at breaking down defensive schemes, I think this will limit their passing game substantially allowing the Bills defense to load up against the run. Fantasy Focus Buffalo: New offensive coordinator Steve Fairchild will build his game plan around McGahee and plans on utilizing his pass catching skills more in 2006. McGahee will receive over 30 touches in this game and should produce huge yardage totals and I believe he gets multiple touchdowns in this game. The Bills ground attack will also help open the door for some long pass plays to Lee Evans. Start: McGahee Consider: Evans and Lindell Sit: Defense, Losman, Reed, and Price New England: Can Brady produce with less than spectacular options at WR? Yes, but not this week, as they will need more time to learn the playbook and create chemistry. Brady will disappoint fantasy owners who selected him as the second or third QB off the board in this game. The Bills’ secondary should allow the front seven to play the run. If Brady works his magic and proves me wrong, TE Ben Watson and Gabriel should be the benefactors. Start: Dillon and Watson Consider: Gabriel and Brady Sit: Caldwell, Jackson, and Gostkowski Score: Buffalo 24 New England 21Buffalo at New England 1:00 p.m. Division rivals Buffalo and New England clash in Foxboro Sunday afternoon. 18. She looks as if her head was on fire and they tried to put it out with a bunch of bricks.
  19. Link Shawne Merriman at #11??? BTW, no Bills on the list.
  20. OMFG!!! She looked exactly like that except her hair on top was more of a deep piss gold color that turned into a mullet.
  21. I really love the Bills this week. I like the over in the Chiefs/Bengals game as well as Manning Bowl.
  22. She looked like an alien. I can't believe someone looked at her and saw love at one point resulting in lil' Charlie.
  23. I'm really surprised that no one has mentioned the atrocious playcalling of Meathead. If you look back at the last drive of the first half, Miami had the ball at Pitt's 8 yard line with 41 seconds and 1 timeout. They proceeded to throw 3 straight incomplete passes, out of the shotgun no less. They should've of run at least once in that situation or have C-Pepp line up under center and maybe call a playaction. They threw the ball too much and tried to get "cute" with a hard nosed football team that predicates much of its reputation with its toughness. The Dolfags should have pounded the ball a little more and try to punch the Steelers in the mouth. Instead, they tried to throw rocks from a distance and failed miserably.
  24. I fuggin benched him in favor of McMicael I did have Ronnie Brown though which was good for 18 points. Mild consolation.
  25. It has to be on Youtube.
